This is probably the closest thing you'll find to Korean food in this area! They have a wide range of choices and the price isn't bad. It's a cute, quiet restaurant so it'll be good for dates or just a friendly hangout. read more

I've had this place bookmarked for a while and finally got the chance to try it for dinner recently. Boy, am I glad I did! First of all, I am in love with the decor! The walls are black and are covered with cherry blossom designs. It's a Japanese/Korean fusion restaurant. The dark interior gives it that romantic feel but not too dark where you'll have to squint to look at your date;-) There's a pretty lit tree in the middle of the bottom floor. Oh yes, there's an open spaced second floor dining area that I would definitely consider for events and special occasion dinners. We ordered the grilled bossam which I had been looking forward to trying based on the Yelp pics and it did not disappoint. The meat was grilled and had a nice smokey flavor. We also ordered the kim chi fried rice which was very flavorful. The egg on top was perfect! Banchans were good though all a bit on the sweet side. I was looking forward to coming back as I was leaving the restaurant! Prices are a bit high (-1) and does not reflect portion size IMO, but it's nice not having to drive to Dallas or even Arlington now for Korean food. read more

Super glad I was invited to try this place for a friends birthday! They do private events here and they def know how to decorate it. Private little section upstairs for about 30 people. BYOB! Went here for a friends birthday and it was about 15 of us? we were seated upstairs in the private area after an event so it was decorated really well! thought it was an engagement haha. I got to try many dishes but i ordered for myself the Green tea Ramen, it was actually really good? i love green tea, but i couldnt really see the point of it, the ramen did over power the tea flavor, but you could tell it was there? I got to try the kimchi pancake; bibimbap and something else. All korean staples of course and they were executed to perfection. Each dish was the right flavor. oh yeah back to my ramen lol. I'm sure its from a bag and they just added the toppings and tea bag, which is fine, the meat was cooked well. The egg was a little over done, but fine. veggies parched and all in all it was a good meal for 11 $? not sure on that. I'd order it again. I would definitely come here again for a night of drinking and food. The staff here was very helpful and accommodated us very well for being a big party. Very nice staff and knew their menu. read more

I will say the photos do make the place look bigger than it actually is, so you will be pretty close to another table. But the food and service make up for that fact, both were excellent. read more

My grandma is Japanese/Korean and approves. Love all their small banchan sides. I could eat a few of their savory pancakes but my friend and I split one as an appetizer while we decided. I got the Japchae and I wasn't super in love with it at first however as the noodles soaked up the sauce, it quickly became my favorite thing ever. Took some home to my grandma. She was all about it. This place is BYOB and the waitress, Michelle, is amazing! read more

Every few months, I'll search Yelp to see what new ethnic restaurants have popped up (have been hoping for more Korean, Indian, and Vietnamese near me). To my great surprise, Yori showed up my screen! Korean and Japanese?! Let's give them a try. If I remember correctly, this is what I ordered: Bulgolgi. Delish. Good quality meat, and tastes as good as any other bulgolgi I've had. BUT!! This was THE MOST expensive bulgolgi I've ever purchased!!! Normally when I've eaten Korean (Houston, Seattle, Cali, Utah), we'll order at least 2-3 different meats. But the prices of ALL the meats caused me to just try the one. (Better to see how one tastes before spending that much dough on lots). Tofu Soup. Pretty good. Priced well. Kimchi Fried Rice. Priced fine. Taste was OKAY. And not a huge fan of places that throw in (what looks like) a bag of frozen mixed vegetables (I've mentioned that in other reviews for places around town...must be something about Fort Worth??). hardly any kimchee in it. Seafood "pancake". Great. Priced fine. (Sorry, looks like my review is focusing more on the negs than the positives). Since they ARE an Asian fusion, can't judge them too harshly on just their Korean food (or for not offering other Korean favorites like Jop Chae!!). But for their price point and Kimchee Fried Rice, I give them 4 stars. Everything else was great tho. Will have to try their ramen sometime and see how it compares. read more

The interior of this restaurant is truly bizarre. The fake balconies and Spanish tile roof give the impression that it was once a Mexican restaurant but they only had the money to paint the entire interior black. Oh well, we told the 3-year-old in our party that it was a Halloween restaurant. On to the food...nothing to complain about. We enjoyed various dishes. I thought my pork belly ramyun (ramen) was about as good as any Japanese restaurant. The little Korean side dishes were all okay. I would go back the next time I'm in North Texas. read more

Don't bother. Food was good, but nothing special. But the real reason not to go is the terrible service. Took around 15-20 minutes just to get drinks. We ordered 2 appetizers and 2 entrees. Waiter another 30 minutes. Entrees came out first but with only half of the meal. The missing parts eventually came, the waiter was running around like crazy. We gave up on getting our apps, then one of them came as we were finishing our entree. We ended up just cancelling the other one. They are severely understaffed. Food was good but there is good food other places with better service. I wouldn't go back. read more

I should have grabbed a copy of the menu for photos. Oh well. Food was great! I got the lunch bulgogi bimbibap. Very tasty. It was perfect for me... The perfect combo of meat, cucumbers, rice, sauce etc. Yummm. I can't wait to go back to try more things. Atmosphere of the restaurant was great. Small, but big enough to handle quote a few customers. The decor was very modern. So glad to have another option near home. This is like 3 min from my house. :) read more

Yori is amazing. And the Asian fusion food they serve is immaculate. Loved the moody ambiance which was very unique and surprising for being where it is located. The restaurant is lit up with fake trees emitting lights from their "leaves", the walls displayed false balconies, and the seating and spacing of the entire place felt like an eatery in East Asia. Our waitress was kind in recommending us the popular dishes and she seemed like the only staff other than the chef in the back for this quaint spot. There was only one other patty there upon entering and we visited the upstairs area while waiting on our food and it also was quite similar in atmosphere with stringing lights, dim lighting, and decor. We ordered the appetizer of Pork Belly Yakitori, Beef Ramen, Katsu Kid's Meal, and Spicy Pork Bulgogi which was served on a hot plate similar to fajitas alongside some banchan. Everything was decent and I would visit again for their quiet space and quality Asian cuisine! 4/5 read more

The food was amazing, Brian was truly amazing! The service 100/10. I always come back because it's a great spot!

Interior is really small, but there is seating upstairs as well. From my understanding, you have to call ahead to reserve the upstairs area. The area is decorated nicely and definitely a cute date night spot. The food... so good! I agree with some of the other reviews on the price, but the items that my friends and I got were definitely worth the price. I would come here again and try other things off their menu. read more

A perfect mix of Korean food and a beautiful, ambient environment. This place is perfect for a date or dinner with friends but is also casual enough to bring your family and children to. I order the chicken katsu with steamed rice for my kiddos. I love everything on the menu! The ramen is BOMB!! The cheese ramen is my fav it's a perfect combo of cheesy goodness, spiciness, and comforting broth. I also enjoy the japchae noodles and Bulgogi. Don't be afraid to jump around the menu though. Absolutely one of the cutest restaurants I have been to in awhile. The restaurant is quaint but nicely decorated and clean. My kids got a kick out of the wall set up like a photo both complete with photo props. I know they flooded their Instagram & Snap Chat accounts with selfies they took. The restaurant is located in a small shopping center with ample parking. We went for a late lunch on a Saturday. The menu is mainly family style where you order a few main dishes and share those along with traditional Korean pickled veggies. We ordered the family meal that included 4 different meats, KalBi, Spicy Pork Bulgogi, Beef bulgogi, and Pork Belly. We loved it. My personal favorites were the Kalbi and spicy pork. It also came with an egg dish and a Korean soup. All were delicious. It is pricey for lunch but in line with many other authentic Korean restaurants that we have visited. Will be back. read more

Really fabulous experience in a cozy, welcoming environment. Our waiter was very friendly and attentive. He offered an array of sides to sample -- all of which were very tasty -- from the spicy cucumber salad to the cabbage kimchi, broccoli with spicy mayo and the lovely pasta salad. I had the spicy seafood tofu soup, which was a smidge too hot for my taste (will order it milder next time) but very flavorful and fresh. My husband had the yaki udon with chicken, which he said was excellent. We also had the Hoddeok pancake for dessert: super delish! Every dish that emerged from the kitchen looked amazing, so I'm pretty sure just about anything you order will make you a Yori fan. Oh, great value as well. Thanks for a wonderful meal y'all! read more

Food: 7.5/10 Service: N/A (Take-out) Value: 6/10 Ambience: N/A TL;DL - Yummy Korean food for a somewhat decent price. First time trying this place for us. Ordered lunch special bentos, pork belly yakitori, and Katsu bibimbap. (I derped and got a chicken Katsu bento as well). Anyways, food was good. Girlfriend did not like gyoza, but it was fine for me. Pork belly was okay but could be better had warmed them up. Bulgogi beef was tender and yummy. Chicken Katsu was also yummy and crunchy. Nothing really bad to say. I'll try out some other items next time around for sure. Cheers. read more

If you're looking for excellent Korean food, this is the place to go in the mid cities. They also have Japanese and fusion dishes, but the Korean food is what will bring you back. I had a spicy Korean soup with tofu and seafood and it was amazing! The Korean pancake was really tasty as well. The service is also friendly and prompt. If you like Asian food in general, please give this a try. If you're looking for generic Chinese like orange chicken, look elsewhere. read more

Not really authentic Korean tasting. Rice was very dry. Kimchi fried rice wasn't good. Usually, Koreans don't add huge chunks of onion in the rice. Japchae, seafood pancake were decent. The marinated galbi was decent too but was fatty because it's a LA cut. I wouldn't go back again. If wanting authentic Korean food, I'd go to dallas/Carrollton area read more

I got excited with a Korean place near my house. However, this place just does not make the mark. I ordered dol sot bi bimp bop - a rice dish with bulgogi and veggies that comes in a hot clay pot. I have never seen anyone put lettuce in this dish. To get veggies you had to pay extra. And the veggies were American style. Seriously the weirdest dish ever. My son and husband ordered the chop chae. This is a rice noodle dish with beef and veggies. Now this dish was good. A bit on the peppery side, but good. I was looking forward to a traditional Korean barely tea. They said they were out. My mom said she came her a few months ago and they did not have it then either. The side dishes were strange. A few traditional ones and then some bizarre fusion ones. The service was mediocre. I hate it when the server brings your food and no utensils and you wait for 5 min before you get your utensils. The dishes came out several minutes apart. So everyone just sits waiting for everyone gets their food. I can't say I would go back to this place. It's just better to drive! read more

Dining area is nice looking. The food was very tasty, and prepared quickly, would give the food 4.5 stars. Service was not great. Went there for an early dinner, and it was not crowded, there were 4 staff up front, we were seated promptly, but only had 2 menus for the table. Took way too long for someone to come hand us more menus. Then bring our drinks and take our order. Staff was more preoccupied with talking with each other than providing good service. 4 of 5 meals came out quickly. They however did not bring any silverware or chopsticks to eat with. The last dish didn't come out until we flagged down the waitress. And then, still took just as long as the first dishes did. I suspect it was forgotten at some point. They need to retrain the staff on the service level they expect. Especially for something called a Bistro. read more

I've been here three times and they never disappoint. I work just down the street and it's always a great place to eat!

I came here with a friend who is a regular at this place. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality and authenticity of their food -- you dont find authentic Asian food in the DFW mid-cities very often (except Carrollton ofc)!! the atmosphere of the inside wasnt my favorite, but it was very nicely decorated with twinkling lights. the server was friendly and the food did not take that long to come out. the pickled side dishes were also very good, but be careful with the peppers! I have never tried Japanese stir fry noodles, but I loved their pork yaki udon. I will definitely revisit this place w my friend. read more

Yori is out of this world.. (aka best Korean bbq ever)!! The setting matches the food it's an awesome atmosphere. Minh took care of us and he was so fun, and so knowledgeable. We ordered the spicy gyoza (ended up ordering it again while sitting because we enjoyed it so much) and seafood pancake (minh suggestions) it was amazing!! Finally something ethnic and different in the mid cities area! This place is serving up some tasty Korean & Asian dishes with a lot of variety. I very much enjoyed my chicken lettuce wraps that were marinated in some kind of deliciousness with sweet sauce on the side. I also enjoyed their crispy spring rolls with the marinated veggies inside. They give huge portions and the appetizer lettuce wraps easily double as a meal for lunch. I look forward to trying out the kimchi rice next as well as some bulgogi with the marinated beef! It's great for to go and if you want to sit inside it's intimate, dark & beautiful. First visit I would have rated this place 5. My first time the waitress was great and super sweet! I had the Galbi dish which was melt in your mouth, flavorful, and had more fat on it though. But that's what makes it soooo good! I love most of the little sides! My favorite of course is the kimchi salad and cucumber kimchi. I was not big on the macaroni salad or cucumber salad. 2nd visit, dropped to a 4 star. Came here for lunch. ordered the bulgogi bibimbap: it was ehhh.... the meat was pretty soggy and not very flavorful. I was pretty disappointed on the bulgogi. This kind of set me off eating bulgogi here again. I don't mind coming here again, but I would stick to the galbi even though it had a bit more fat on it. Love the cute decor in here! Walls have painted art on it that looks like with chalk. Very pretty and fun to look at! They have an upstairs, but I've never seen anyone up there. Also, i noticed the two times I have been here, it was practically dead. first visit, one other table. today- only me. read more

I found this place on Yelp when searching for restaurants to eat that were nearby the convention center for a conference I was attending. I easily found this restaurant located in a strip center. Upon entering this restaurant, the layout and design of the interior is very modern with a hip vibe. A two story establishment, they offer free Wi-Fi to their customers. During my dining experience, I enjoyed relaxing jazz playing throughout the restaurant. Food: I ordered a traditional Beef Bulgogi served with a side of rice and banchan. How the beef bulgogi was prepared was different from what I am used to with strips of beef versus shredded beef, but this style was just as tasty. The beef was tender, juicy, with sautéed onions mixed into the beef served on a hot plate. For the price, the serving size was generous with a free refill of the banchan dishes. This was good find and I will recommend this restaurant to anyone who will be staying in the area. I could see myself coming here again to enjoy the ambience the restaurant. read more
