The burgers were incredible, the micro beer brew selection was the best in Oregon, and they had Coke AND Pepsi products! Seriously you never see this in any gas station. I would drive from my home in Seattle just to go to this gas station.

DESTINATION SPOT!!!…read more This little gem sits in one of the most unlikely places--the middle of nowhere. It's offerings exceed even the wildest of imaginations. I don't even know where to start, but let me note a few highlights that were unforeseen. The eatery: that's right, it has a restaurant that offers some amazing burgers and wings, try the "pub burger" if you want culinary perfection. What is more, you can decorate it with all the fixings which were hand prepared that day. They even have jalapeños and habanero sauce. The seating was super BOSS because I could view the fill up action while I pleased my palate. Other offerings: they have a FULL line of beverages (adult and otherwise). I felt like I was at whole foods when it came to drink options. Surprisingly they had the drink sought after by golfers everywhere, thats right, Arnold Palmer tea. I indulged. (Perhaps a golfer owns this oasis) Furthermore, they sport BOTH Pepsi and coke in the fountain section--no regulation on soda size here. Beyond this, they carry everything from extension cords to produce. Forget Walmart, that's all I have to say. The service is better here anyway. The fill up: the attendant was prompt and polite, demonstrating vernacular that reflects his local culture. Once the fill up was complete, ample parking existed around the building which encouraged myself and other patrons to "settle in" for a while. Upon entry I noted the attendant was furthering his education in the area of biology, particularly organisms that habitate the surrounding ecosystem. There is so much more I could say, but I will leave it for the next sojourner to include in his/her review. What I MUST say is that you will not be disappointed if you choose to make this your place of concession!

But as small as Clatskanie is I feel like most people that would stop in are on their way to or from Long Beach or Astoria or Seaside etc! With that being said I could maybe recommend some better places along the way or in the town you're going to! There's a Taco Bell sign painted on part of the wall inside but there's not a Taco Bell anymore sadly lol! (Apparently there was a drive thru Taco Bell Express that seemed to be just drive thru unless you wanted to come in and occupy one of their like 2 seats that seem to be for the Mini Mart hot food lol!) I don't think you'll regret stopping in!
