cashier threatened to charge me with theft for bringing a product with security device to the checkout to pay for it and have device removed when no one was available in the department to have security device removed The cashier insisted this was their policy and if I did it again, they would charge me with theft. I told them I didn't even leave the store so therefore I could not be charged with theft and she said yes, I could. The manager running the front was standing behind the cashier supporting the cashiers statements. Beware of using the app to price shop. They have a deceptive policy of advertising a specific price on the app but when you go to purchase it at the store, the price will be significantly more expensive. In order to get the price on the app, you're expected to order it online which is highly inconvenient when you're in store shopping for other necessities. It makes me want to avoid shopping there altogether. read more

Just got new tires. My tires were as smooth as bowling shoes and maybe had something stuck in them. Popped in to Walmart on 7th Ave on a whim to see if they had anything in my size and when they could install them. I was on my way in less than an hr. with new tires and the extra protection-$10 more per tire. I am thankful that they had tires in stock and took care of me immediately at a price I could afford. I cannot believe these guys stole over $50 dollars from me. They pointed fingers to every department within the company. I spent hours on the phone. This all happened because they couldn't get my address right in the system, even though I corrected it after the first order was delivered to the wrong address. Every order stated delivered. The correct address has been on my app since the morning after ordering several different items, which were supposed to arrive different days. I am so totally livid with this store I will never give any Walmart anywhere one dime of my money ever again due to the rude inconsiderate, unjust and highly unethical treatment I received tonight at this store in the money center/customer service department! Matthew decided he wanted to be judge and jury and play 20 questions with me about a Walmart to Walmart money transfer that my mother had sent to me for my birthday gift and my sons birthday gift. I had given him my license and the numbers to receive the funds he then asked me who sent the money I answered him and said my mother sent it (and I told him her name) he then asked me my phone number and I gave it to him .. he then asked me what the money was for.. I said it's a gift.. He looked at me like my answer wasn't sufficient enough for him .. There was a long pause while he just stood there and stared at me.. I then said it's not for anything bad or illegal like drugs its a gift from my mother why are you asking me all these questions?? he then asked me why would my mother send me that much money and what was I going to use it for and did I ask my mother for the money?? I said it's a gift just put in your system it's a gift I really don't think it's any of your business what I use the money for!! He paused and red flagged my account and refused to give me the money I said to him why did you do that and asked to speak to a manager and he was smirking the entire time thinking he's pretty hilarious because he was on some sort of a power trip and wanted to cause me a big hassle for no valid reason!!! My mother is in her later 70s and her health is not that great and she now has to have someone take her to Walmart to get the money returned what a completely horrible experience for her to have to deal with!!! I'm curious when someone's going to sue Walmart. They have Walmart delivery, and now charge for bags. So if you have multiple items that could fit into one or two bags they instead put every item in its own bag so they can charge you the extra 18 cents per bag. That is theft Walmart. read more

I went to pick up my moms grocery order and after 20 minutes sitting there the guy came out and asked for the name on the order. I gave it to him and he said it was no where in the system and I was at the wrong location. I drove across longview wasting my $4 / gallon gas to the other Walmart and my mom called me saying it was at the walmart I was at the first time. She called them and they said it was there so I drove back and got my groceries that he told me were not there and he loaded them into my trunk and completely ignored the fact that he had just lied to me about them not being there. And to add to that, every other time she orders groceries they either substitute or don't have half the items we order and when we ordered groceries for delivery so my parents could feed our family of 7 they randomly cancelled it with no explanation. 0/10 experience. read more

OMG someone needs to shop a cashier by the name of Kylee she was the most rudest person I've come in contact with at this store. Never mind how slow she scans (every transction in the line), nor how she had to wait for a floor supervisor to clear our beer purchase, without informing us until I pulled out my debit card (it indicated the transaction was complete and to pull my card out) she canceled our transaction not saying a word just handed me a piece of paper that said my card was denied. WHAT THE HECK!!!! Finally after 45 minutes for beer,, a can of corn,, bacon, turkey roll, milk and a puzzle book "I KID YOU NOT" the transaction was Finally completed, no hi no sorry for the inconvenience no thank you no have a nice day just blank stare. What can you say about Wal Mart? Every experience has great potential for entertainment value as you shop. Most occasions have been to buy ice cream or electronics, but have done my weekly shopping there on more than one occasion. The one complaint I have is that there are 15 registers but there are only 2 open at any one time with large lines. This deters me from shopping here more often. read more

Living on the Oregon Coast is a wonderful thing...unless you need to shop and want to save some cash. Once a month, it is well worth it for us to take the 1 hour drive to Longview and do some guerrilla shopping, dining, and get my partner's hair cut. On our last trip to Longview, we went to the Walmart on Ocean Beach Hwy. in Longview. It was OK, but didn't seem to be that well stocked. It was looking as if it was starting to fall into the run down department too. On this trip, we visited the 7th Ave Longview location and were very pleased. Nice layout, clean, well stocked, and the employees seemed to be of a wee bit higher caliber than many Wallyworlds. My partner got her ears pierced by Allen in jewelery, who was funny, efficient, and very friendly and professional. Take it from a lad with a shaved head...if I ever wanted cool "Fabio" hair, Allen would be my mentor. Got some great clearance deals on a big cookware set (normally a hundred bucks...got it for 35) and a killer deal on a blender for those summer mixed drinks and smoothies. My partner got some great deals as well, but was delirious with happy vibes to have her new earrings and pierced ears to go with her new makeover haircut from Stylemasters in Long View as well (see review). Nice clean store, though filled to the brim with the usual casting call assortment that resemble the Star Wars Cantina scene and a Deliverance reunion. I am always inspired to sing Dueling Banjos and or The Cantina Theme as we shop. Look for us... I am the big and scary Irishman who is serenading the local yokels, and she is the one turning read with the new killer hair do and freshly pierced ears. We may tour sometime....ya just never know. Oh, just a note to the "homeless couple with child" sitting at the turn-in to the store....You may want to hide your cell phone, stop smoking, bleaching your hair, and wearing such nice clean clothes, when scamming people for your personal gains. I am once again sitting in the pharmacy here, waiting 20 min for a prescription I called in 3 days ago is not filled because my medication is on backorder. I am loathe to say "always" about anything but it is so close to that, I will use it to describe my experiences at this store. I know that at other Walmarts if there is a hold up on a prescription they notify people with a text message or phone call. I have had "hold ups" every time I come in; either they won't listen when I explain how to look up my name and then tell me they can't find it go see the drop off window or meds are on backorder! We stayed in the parking lot overnight here in our RV. I called ahead and the staff at Walmart said you could overnight if you didn't cause any trouble. Unfortunately, we don't have a Wal-Mart in Clatsop County. We went to a family reunion in Kelso, and stopped by on our way back. We found great deals on everything, and hubby even found a sweatshirt that fits him ( he has wide shoulders)! As we were checking out, our one year old daughter was getting fussy because she was tired and out of milk. They went to the Subway while I checked out, and the cashier was extremely helpful, and very sweet. Hubby wasn't so lucky at the Subway. He grabbed a thing of milk from the cooler, and the lady had a hard time believing that was all he wanted ( he also had our daughter with him in the cart). This remains a clean fairly well- stocked store. Although standing in line for 15 minutes chatting with people in line I was told the Ocean Beach store, in their opinion, was better stocked. Shopping after 6:00pm, and not having dinner, hubby grabbed a pizza supreme from deli case. Hands down the best cook at home pizza! Filled with sausage, pepperoni, olives, onions, cheese, gr pepper, tomatoes...can't wait to try it grilled! Shopping I noticed some prices for some items, have increased $1.00 an item.. Horrible customer service. I phoned to find out if a product was available in the Pet department. was transferred and waited on hold over 7 1/2 minutes before I hung up and phoned back. The same girl transferred me again to the same number and again I was on hold several minutes, hung up and the third time I simply asked her if there was not someone available to look up the item on the computer. For the third time she said "one moment" and after 7 minutes came back and simply said "we don't have it". No apology, no offer to check another store. I bought a pair of Bushnell Binoculars this evening, a few minutes after leaving the store I opened the package and discovered they where broken. I went back to return them and was told they don't take return's that late. How can you sell something that late but not do a return that late. Anyways I work night shift and that's the only time of the day I'm in town. I've been buying my groceries, gifts, TVs, phones, movies and everything else two or three times a week at that time of night at that store sense they opened.
