The parking lot is a neglected mess that desperately needs a deep clean and restriping to safely direct traffic. More alarmingly, the side area by the bottle return is extremely filthy, and heavy wooden pallets are stacked completely haphazardly at dangerous heights. It is only a matter of time before these unstable stacks collapse and cause a severe injury. Management needs to intervene and fix these code and safety hazards immediately before someone gets hurt.

First to review, and I also got this listed on here! It's not a bad Dollar General location…read more When did they open? I'm honestly not sure. I just drove through Castle Rock for the first time in months, maybe even a year, and WHOA, there's a Dollar General! I have been to the Rainier and Clatskanie locations, and this is only slightly worse. They didn't have their store exclusive Mountain Dew, that I was looking for. Rainier does, at least. Other than that, great stock of items, meaning nothing really seemed to be out. Looked WAY cleaner than anticipated. Also not the busiest, as Dollar General's go. Employees seemed nice enough, too. But they didn't have what I was looking for, so the interaction was minimal. This will probably be an interesting place for Castle Rock people to go, but it really won't be that much more advantageous than a place they've been familiar with for years. But it shows the start of maybe making Castle Rock bigger, and better. Definitely stop by and see if maybe they carry something the other local stores don't have. But you're probably better off just running to Longview real quick. Thanks for reading, if you did!

(Which is probably why it's the last store standing! Overall I think this is a very necessary store to stay in business and it helps the mall somewhat! (Side note I'm not sure what they're playing but every time I've been in recently they've been playing GREAT Christmas music!) Thanks for reading if you did!
