It's a coin toss for customer service. Which can be looked at as a positive if you want, as some places have horrible service ALL the time. I'd give this location a 6/10. But it's at my current 5/10, due to the fact that if you go to the Kelso location, you'll really experience zero issues. Overall, this Dollar Tree will get the job done for the right audience, and it's probably the biggest location I've ever seen. But when it comes to the average person, just go a couple minutes over the bridge to the Kelso location.

Even in the closing days and huge sale to clear out the stock, the employees were kind and helpful and the store was as nice as it can be. Some empty shelves were the only difference I noticed, and the only issue I had was the sadness it evoked. I have very fond memories of this store for nearly two decades. Those are even lower than red on top of red omg! Goose bumps! I asked my dad to let me take photos of some of the amazing stuff he got for bargain prices. But he refused, he said, "if you tell the world, then then all these goodies will never get reduced so low!" But I couldn't resist sharing. I decided to give them the benefit and rate them at 3 stars instead of just 2 stars. The first thing that struck me when walking in was the mess and disaster that many of the aisles and shelves were. Items were cluttered on the shelves and many of the aisles were tight squeezes due to boxes and other items blocking the way. Additionally, there appeared to be no one on duty at all. I was the only customer in the store and actually made it all the way around the entire store, walking down almost every aisle and was never acknowledged or never encountered a staff member. I was looking for something specific, so I kind of took my time looking and didn't find it anywhere; and needed to try to ask someone. I walked to the front counter to see if someone was in the office, and lo and behold, someone called out that they'd be right there. The employee on duty came out and turned out they didn't have what I wanted (a wall calendar). Bummer! Now, it was later in the evening and maybe she was working on paperwork or something ... so I'm not holding that too much against her, but it would've been nice to have some staff presence in the store. That said, they do have tons and tons of affordable items in multiple departments. Food, housewares, party supplies, seasonal items, and home decor are the main categories they have. Plus, for the kids, they even have a fairly good toy section with inexpensively priced fun for the little ones. While it was a bust on what I came in for ... all-in-all, it was a fine store and perhaps I'll drop in another day for something that I know they'll have. Maybe I caught them on a busy paperwork night, a short-staffed day, and they hadn't gotten to cleaning up the clutter??
