Being in the midst of a pandemic and still waiting on my unemployment it literally was my last twenty dollars. The machine ended up eating my money , (my mom always said if it wasn't for bad luck I'd have no luck at all :) So I immediately inform one of the gals working the counter and she says all she can do is take my name and number, leave a note and I was to come back in on Monday when the manager was in. I went back Monday evening, never got a phone call, and was told the manager, Shelly, was only there in the mornings. So I go back today, Tuesday 12/29/2020 and Shelly informs me that she looked in the machine and there was no extra twenty dollar bill. I told her that one of her many cameras could clearly tell if I put money in the machine and that I wanted my money. She shrugged. I asked who I could contact above her and she shrugged again. I asked again for the owners name and she said she could leave a note but that was all. I then asked whos to say you leave a note and no one gets back to me? I got a third shrug,. So I got pissed and left. I have some friends at another local convenience store who gladly gave me the information I needed to put in a formal complaint and informed me that before she went to work on Monday she had stopped in C&C and noticed "shelly" scratching a large pile of tickets. Could be a coincidence or she could be a thief, either way I want my money back. So now after this I will try and contact the owner, hopefully they are a little more honest then their employee. Fingers crossed that the outcome goes better than this mornings. as I really don't want to spend the day writing reviews.

But in a pinch or a hurry it's a great place to pick up something you need but do not want to drive far to get it. Clerks are very nice, store is clean and as much as it feels bad to have to spread the word, it's Closing. Their landlord gave them notice to be out of their location by the end of February, 2026. There are many other empty buildings up and down Commercial Street but I have heard nothing about relocating the store. As of yesterday, February 21, 2026 everything was marked down 40%. Looks like we can say goodbye to them soon.
