So this is an honest review . If you are expecting a turn key lay back and expect not to have your money taken from you . Don't go here . The salesman are trained well and if you don't know how to deal with salesman they will pull one over on you and in this day and age . It's your fault . With that said if you know how to negotiate and come prepared with realistic numbers and a plan . They will eventually cave and cater to your needs if the car has been sitting long enough. With that said . The finance manager and joey were both nice people . Yes joey was doing his job so he was trying to get as much money that he could from me . But holding firm to my price he eventually gave me the deal i wanted and was respectful throughout the whole process . In that i am very pleased with joey . The finance manager was also very nice she also was flexible on warranty pricing which i was especially thankful for . Over all i was pleased with the experience. Thank joey for your professionalism, i know i was a bit of a hard ass but thanks for being a good sport . read more

We asked to get all the information outside by the car to avoid bringing the baby in during COVID and we were met with a lot of anger and hostility. I asked the man to please put his mask over his nose while talking to us and he rolled his eyes (obliged but it fell down again and he didn't put it back up). He asked "Are you coming in or what?" I explained again we're not going in with the unvaccinated baby especially because so many of the employees aren't wearing masks. With his down below his nose and at least 2 visible employees without their masks on he got very defensive and said that "All of my men are wearing masks" and disagreed even when I tried to point them out currently plus his own mask! We left because it wasn't worth the danger or rudeness. We'll find another Kia dealership. read more

A little over a year ago, we bought a Kia EV6 at Yonkers Kia. The purchase went very smoothly through the efforts of our excellent salesman, Joseph Nuss. We are basically very happy with the car, though getting it charged has been more of a challenge than we expected. However, service at the dealership is a complete disgrace. In my 73 years, I have never encountered such poor communication, incompetence and possibly dishonesty. If you are in the market for a car and love the Kia, by all means consider purchasing it. But if you care about timely repairs from your dealer, don't even think about buying it at Yonkers Kia. And if what they have told me about the unavailability of parts is true, and you are unhappy about the prospect of being without your car for a month or more, don't buy a Kia. read more

Took my car for service on my KIA . The costumer service was excellent. Full attention and accommodations to my needs. Work completed perfectly, plus some. Free car wash to finish. And a very nice escort to my car. Very pleased with KIA Service Center in Yonkers. Highly recommend! read more

I went somewhere else to lease. This place is limited with their customer service. If they feel like your are not going to make a sale they will brush you off. So I took my business else where. read more

I bought my car at Lash Kia which was excellent and have had to go to Yonkers Kia twice for routine service since. While the staff at Yonkers is all very polite, the up-sell and pressure to give "an all 10 rating" on the customer evaluation survey was just wrong. I was also told I needed body work on a scratch in The front of my car to prevent rust - which turned out to be plastic. The wait time they tell you is way off and when I left they called me 1-2x DAILY to try and get me to trade in my 2 year old car which I love for a new Optima. This went on for 3 weeks until I finally called the manager and asked him to make them stop. I don't trust these guys as far as I can throw them...they give misinformation to sell you stuff you don't need and make unnecessary repairs. When sales feels like harassment its a place to avoid. I won't be going back to Yonkers Kia. read more

The service was very good. All the people there wanted to help me. They seemed somewhat disorganized.

I called for 60K Maintenance Service quote and over the phone Jermaine Johnson (most likely not his real name) quoted a price of $319.00. I came into Yonkers Kia for 60K service and was given the price of $398.00 - $80.00 MORE than the phone quote. To make matters worse, they wrote up paperwork for 45K maintenance instead of 60k. When I called Jermaine back to request paperwork with the accurate information. He said, he gave me the maintainance discount on 45K maintainance service and he refused to correct the error. They won't go out of business but they lost a good customer. They're very dishonest and soooo sleazy. Never ever would I go to this dealer. Its a poorly run business which is sad as its minority owned. I would not go to that dealership ever. STAY AWAY!!! read more

I have gone to Yonkers Kia for many years now and have brought many friends and family to buy new and used cars. John Molina is by far the best you will ever meet. We have all been working with him from years now and his been nothing but genuine and honest. He will always go the extra mile to ensure everything is done with 100% integrity. There is No haggling or BS with him. I'm a brat of a shopper and he always makes sure I get the cars I desire for the best deal. Kia is a amazing car and John in the best salesmen you will ever need. Thank you John Molina for your great service every time read more

As a long-time and happy Kia customer, my wife and I wanted to commend the service we received from Marc LaMassa and Ray Robles, Sales Manager and sales executive, respectively, at Yonkers Kia this week. They not only overcame an issue we had experienced with our 2019 Kia Sorento lease (expiring May 30th of this year) regarding the correct residual value (calculated by prior Yonkers Kia finance management), they offered an exemplary deal that changed our minds from buying the leased car to getting a NEW lease on a 2022 Kia Sorento. Can't recommend this dealership any higher. Want a good deal on an SUV? Visit Yonkers Kia!!! read more

Thought I was dealing with a class A dealership. Another bits the dust. I pre ordered a 2021 KIA Telluride and left a $500 deposit. One would think if a customer is spending over $50K you would do what it takes to keep them happy. For the past 3 weeks I've been trying to get a hold of Sales Director Mike Romano only to be told a plethora of excuses. I'm not in the office today, the receptionist is saying sales is no longer taking calls only text messages and emails. I've called and left voicemails, nothing. Ironically the day I reach my breaking point and mention getting a refund in an email Shannon sends me a text. Whose Shannon? You're guess is as good as mine since she seems to think we've been talking for the past few weeks. She bombards me with more excuses how she was in the hospital for weeks and didn't know I was texting. So either you were in the hospital and didn't know I was texting or we were texting all this time. Which is it. When I failed to acknowledge her hospitalization she called me a rude person and told me my name was off the car. I mean quality service YONKERS KIA. I've gotten more conversation today than in the 3 weeks I tried reaching out. BUYER BEWARE read more

These guys are the best. I just went inside the dealership to look around and to get a quote on a car. Salesman Tony Carrion delivered a Kia Optima to my door in northern New Jersey in February, 2020. But when Tony delivered the car he left off the wood board that fits over the spare well and under the carpeting. He promised to deliver the wood board the next day, but never did. All of my calls have gone unanswered for 7 months! It is difficult to place anything in my trunk for fear of damage. Suffice it to say that I will never buy a car from Yonkers Kia again. But now I have to worry about the lack of a wood board after I return the car! Now I have to waste more time elevating this issue, which should have been resolved long ago. Stay away! read more

They run fake ads to get you in! Classic switch and bait. My husband saw a 2016 Accord on their website for $13,995. Called to make an appointment to make sure they had it as we live in Suffolk county. They answer saying it is in stock. The day of the appointment he calls again and confirms the car is there before leaving. They assure him it's there. He gets there and they play the game that they can not find it. Then 10 minutes later say it was sold but they have a 2017 that they can give me a deal on. Total bullshit!! DO NOT GO TO YONKERS KIA!!! read more

To put it succinctly -- just go and deal with Tony (salesperson). He is down-to-earth, candid, honest, etc., but most important, helped us get the price I wanted on a new lease. Yes there is back and forth, and yes this is a dealership and yes there are other people and department to have to deal with, but Tony "protected" us through all of this and got us a fair deal. One star taken off because I agree with others that the process was a bit too long, but again, Tony got us the price we wanted and that's what matters in the end. TIP: please do research on what fair value is, to save yourself some pain and money. read more

If I could give this place negative stars, I would. This has to be one of the worst dealerships I have ever had the misfortune of trying to do business with. I don't say this about a lot of places, but I sincerely hope this pandemic puts them out of business. It's harsh but it's what they deserve at this point. I have recently made the decision to stay with family in NY for an extended period of time due to COVID. Since I'm going to be here for a bit, I decided to get my Kia serviced and look into a possible upgrade. That's where all the trouble started. Simply put, this dealership has horrible professionalism and their staff is poorly trained. I have placed numerous calls to the dealership. I do realize that they have probably gotten a ton of business since reopening, and I do understand that. What makes me upset is that in the multiple times I have called (and I get a different rep every time: Trey, Ashley and Reggie to name the ones I remember), the reps don't know what they're talking about. They duck and dodge questions like they're Mike Tyson's fists aiming for their face. I never get a straightforward answer, and the worst part is that no one from the dealership will even call me back! They just give me an email and text-line, as if I haven't used those a thousand times already. After being frustrated for a few days, I demanded that the rep I spoke with get me to a manager, I was informed that I kept reaching the BDC Center. Which I wouldn't have a problem with, except they don't know anything, won't tell me anything, and they won't have someone actually at the dealership contact me back. If Yonkers Kia is paying for that answering service, they're wasting their money because they're useless. Don't even get me started with their actual staff at the location. They will give you the run around like a high school track meet. The rare times I do speak with them, I always get conflicting information or really vague answers. Not to mention, they sound like they don't even care anymore and can get quite rude and snappy. Why is it so hard to get simple answers about servicing and getting into a lease? Even though business should be booming after the quarantine lift, they sure act like they don't want it. These should be good times for them, but they're squandering it on their lack of response, rude and un-knowledgeable main staff and the absolutely abysmal BDC Center/Call Center staff. I don't see them lasting long if this keeps up. My family and friends have be warned to stay away, and we've taken our business elsewhere. Heck, I'm even having second thoughts on dealing with Kia in general, if these are the type of people they employ/answering services they pay for. read more

Terrible service. Sold me a car without a key lock. Salespeople are airheads.

I seriously loath this dealership. Everything is an entire day affair here. No matter how nice Everyone is, it's not worth it. I came in to trade in my lease after they called repeatedly to ask me to come in and sell back my vehicle. I ended up paying way more than I was paying - nearly $200 a month more. They wouldn't even throw in the cargo net. How exactly is this worth it to me? I'm not saying they didn't give me anything, but it definitely was not worth it. But that's not the worst of it. They kept saying that things would take 5 minutes, and it has been HOURS. Even coming on a work day where it's half empty it has still taken 6 hours and we are still not done. I haven't even seen the car yet! After about 10 hours when we were done and I finally saw the car...it didn't have the package I asked for! Shocker, sales person made a mistake. At this point, they have to let me borrow a car since my old one has been taken, in order for them to find me the correct version I just purchased. Then they make it seem like they are doing me a favor by not charging me more for the car I specifically asked for and approved. I finally get the correct car a few days later and it has some dings. I couldn't face dealing with them more so I took it. To make matters worse, they can't seem to get the communication right. I have been the sole person on my leases for 6+ years, and for some reason my husband was the contact...not me. I repeatedly asked during the renewal to have this fixed, but even when I went home my husband was still getting the emails, not me. He isn't on the lease! I have asked over and over again and still, months later, my husband is receiving the text reminders, NOT ME! This dealership is a nightmare. Do yourself a favor and stay away. read more

Super rude. salesman (who's photo is on here) tried to kick me out as I walked in after an appointment. He said clearly unless I am buying a car Im not suppose to be here. I learned that the dealership is obviously interested in making customers buy a new car each and every time. Though I came in to simply as a question I was quickly ushered out simply because "you aren't buying a car so you aren't suppose to be here". Thought I AM A FIRST TIME BUYER I will likely never buy a kia again after this experience. read more

Car is phenomenal. Also a nice touch to have it delivered to Massachusetts. Downside was the dealership lapsed on all necessary paperwork so I couldn't legally drive my car from June 26th to September 9th. But, I was still making lease payments! Salesperson was fine, but he repeatedly told me that all was good and I could drive the car when I actually couldn't. Optimism is great and all, but laws are even more important. Kia leadership team was notified of the issue on 7/7 and took them until 9/9 to "expedite" and resolve. If you want to do all of the leg work and you are trained in buying and registering cars, then definitely shop here because they make amazing cars. read more

If you're in the market for a new vehicle and are considering KIA, I would not hesitate to give General Sales Manager Mike Romano a call at Yonkers KIA. I recently got my new 2023 KIA Sportage and my family and I are thrilled with it. Mike knows how to work with customers and he will match you with the right sales person so you can get what you need. More sales managers should be more like Mike Romano. He really made a difference in my experience. And I'm a repeat customer and Mike Romano has lots of repeat customers even in this climate. If you're looking for a car, take my advice and call Mike Romano, you'll be glad you did. read more

Do not do business with this dealership. They called me a few months before my lease ended and asked if I wanted to send my lease early. They said they would cover the last 2 months of payment on my old lease (bc why would anyone want to pay for two cars at one time?). I have text messages and emails confirming this from the salesperson. Of course, they didn't tell the truth, never made the payment to the dealership, and I am on the hook for the last payment. I hve called the dealership multiple times and no one will call me back. This type of business is predatory and everyone needs to beware. read more

Yes deserves less than 1 star. We went in on a Tuesday for 4 hours with a cash deal. To pay cash I would have had to spend nearly $900 additional so I applied for a loan with perfect credit, that was not the issue. Took the car to my mechanic and found numerous things wrong with it. Then the salesperson wasn't willing to meet until 2pm Saturday for delivery of the vehicle. We asked him to call us when it was ready. 2 days later he calls but we were already in a new car. Horrible experience! read more

The Kia dealership itself was super friendly everybody there was helpful and the dealership and everybody there deserves five stars. The service department where you get your car fixed is a different story. Not everybody there was rude I'm just talking about one person at the front desk who was extremely rude after I spent over $30,000 at the dealership. I wouldn't recommend that service department to anybody. read more

I had the pleasure of working with Emily Cummings last week as I traded in my 2016 Kia Sorento for a 2019 Kia Sorento. I told her I wanted the same exact car - with all the bells and whistles...since I just loved the 2016 and actually contemplated buying it. She was able to find a comparable Sorento, exterior and interior color and trim and convinced me to go with the 2019! Hey...why not get into a new lease! Although the 2019 did not have ALL the exact features that the other one had (reverse parking aid function/electric side view mirror fold, which I had grown accustomed to), it does have other features that have won me over thus far (wireless cell phone charging for starters). I am still learning the car, so I am sure there will be other features that will make me love this new car also. Kia Sorento's are a sweet ride! Emily was very attentive, helpful, and thorough. She has a positive, can do attitude and as mentioned before, a pleasure to work with. Thanks again Emily for helping me get into my new baby! read more

On Jan 10, 2022 while shopping for a kia forte, finding a dealership who wasn't trying to charge thousands over MSRP wasn't easy. Kevin Stanton at Yonkers Kia answered the call, at first. He was cordial and down to earth and I was certain this was the deal I'd take. The only issue was that the car was not on the premises, and was instead at a storage lot nearby. Kevin indicated it would be a little while and so the wait began. Kevin said 20 more minutes...then should'nt be much longer. After over an hour, he informed me that it would be an additional 45 miniutes. Upon informing Kevin that I was going to leave, he didn't even respond verbally and just shrugged his shoulders. The fact that he was eating didn't bother me but the lack of concern for my time was insulting. The next day he called me and said the car had been brought over 5 minutes after I left. Why he didn't call me 6 minutes after I left is up for debate. read more

I'm most cases, Going into a car dealership is unarguably one of the most frustrating things to do. Yonkers kia goes against such stigmas. Specifically Matt Adovic alongside Joe made our experience smooth and beyond informative. We went into Yonkers kia in hopes of leasing a 2022 Telluride. We instantly fell in love with this luxurious sleek vehicle. Matt adovic made sure to take his time explaining to us every aspect of the contract, from payments to what's included. He was very patient with us and answered every question with full transparency. Him and Joe are both very well put honest men and made our experience enjoyable. Matt adovic made sure to get us the best rate possible with the credit we presented him with, he went over all the options. Joe was very well educated in the specs of the vehicle and treated us with the upmost respect and care. Yonkers kia is a dealership I would without a doubt recommend to family and friends. The Kia in Yonkers was my knight in shining armor! I was driving on the highway when my rear tire blew. The flat could not be repair by roadside assistance because of a misplaced wheel lock, and so I asked to be towed to the nearest Kia. We pulled in at exactly 7pm (their closing time). The staff went above and beyond to replace my tire. They stayed open late and the manager turned around and drove back to the dealer to unlock the storage area of replacement tires. One star is to much. I went there yesterday to purchase a car.. I knew what I wanted so it wasn't to difficult for the sale. I however wanted to view other cars, but they couldn't find the keys?? Mind you they ran my credit immediately. Today I attempt to call 9:15 AM and was informed that Mario would get back to me . I then called at 12:00 and was informed by Sal that I would have to come in for the numbers. I said I live to far and I don't want to continue to waste my time .. Sal rudely said that my payment would be more than I was willing to pay 350-400. I said I wouldn't be interested..
