This place is the best! They have treats from all over Europe. You can find some real tasty treats here. We stopped by to get some coffee, and we noticed there was so many other gems in this shop. Now when I pass by this area I will stop by here. You have to try this place out. We got some Greek chocolate treats that tasted like the best chocolate I had tasted in a very long time. Perhaps it's because the chocolate isn't from here. So good! This is a must visit :)

I haven't been to this fruit stand since I was a kid. It's not how I remembered it. Almost everything they sell is way overpriced. Some of the fruit was already rotting. It looked like they were also selling stuff from grocery stores but for more money. The fruit we did buy was pretty good, just a little expensive. They have different types of jerky. My daughter picked out the Buffalo Jerky. She hasn't tried it yet so not sure how good it is. We also bought some dried mango, my family enjoyed that. The employees were nice. It was very hot inside. I honestly probably wouldn't come back.

Stopped by on our way home from Vacaville Outlets because my friend wanted some fresh produce. I was hot and cranky but since it was literally RIGHT off the freeway I said okay. It is actually a little market so it is more than a fruit stand. Produce was iffy on some things so you really have to be selective or maybe because it has been 100 degrees that things are wilting? I did pick up a few things I needed. What I did like was the dried fruit and nut selection. Prices are not the lowest. I'd say comparable to Trader Joes without the flair. The lady at the register was nice. It's an alright place to stop but expected prettier produce. I'd worry a little about the shelf life but since I was using it within a day I was not as worried.

Yolo Fruit Stand - out there, frontage road, south side Hwy 80, before causeway heading east.

Hope this places closes. Bad fruits and vegetables. They used to overcharge.

I just bought corn for 3/99 cents. I was disappointed, there's no kernel inside. Probably young, I should have checked it first.

It's one of the few fruit stands in the larger Sacto area that is open year round with fresh produce.

Not the best fruit stand to stop at, to me it seems poorly ran. It used to be better years ago. Now you never know what's fresh or not.

Only complaint is that pies aren't bigger. I've been going here for a couple years now and I could…read morehave sworn the pies I bought when I first went there were 10". The boxes they use are definitely big enough for 10" pies, but they currently sell 9" pies (for $30). The pies are excellent, don't get me wrong. But I drive up from southern california and I'd like to take back a bigger pie, even if it's for more money.

Theres sooo much hype about this place so we went to go try!!…read more Its in very rural davis-ish. Its like a plot of dirt then the lil stand. They have their famous pies as well as produce and some other stuff, but its a very small shop with like 4 tables outdoors. Def a stop on your way somewhere, not necessarily a destination. Their pie slices were like $8 a slice and a whole pie was $30. They also had many more options for whole pies vs pie slices, but its possible its because we went later in the day? They had some savory pies, cold pies, but mostly baked pies like peach, various berries, etc! They also have fruit freezes you can purchase too! We ended up sharing a banana cream pie and i got a peach pie too. The banana cream pie was HEFTY. It was HEAVY and PACKEDDDD. A LOT of cream a LOT of banana filling. Very yummy though and feeds a lot more people than you'd think. The peach pie was also very good! Im not a huge "cooked fruit" person and neither is mt family but we demolished the pie. The peaches were a surprisingly nice texture! And the crust was very good. $30 is a bit steep but if theyre using fresh fruits and baking them fresh its worth a stop if youre in the area!
