I tried this place with my family over the weekend and was really not impressed. It seems like they only had one server and she was doing her best to serve the entire place but I saw other staff sitting at the bar. My own family member had to go up to the bar and ask if they needed help, they finally got up and started serving food that was sitting in the window. It took us 45 minutes just to order anything. Our server was extremely nice and doing her best, the only reason I've given them two stars. Half our order came out cold, the other half the food was taste was very bland. I ordered the sweet tooth french toast and was very disappointed. It's as if they just smeared smuckers strawberry jam over my two thin pieces of toast. The bacon tasted very odd, it immediately made my stomach hurt. Probably will not be back to this place and do not recommend wasting your time. read more

If you order over the phone, make sure to confirm the price beforehand. My husband and I decided to try Yolk House today, and unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. My husband ordered Juanita's Favorite, which is described as a keto-friendly omelet with ground beef, grilled onions, Monterey Jack cheese, topped with guacamole, and served with apple chicken sausage. The sausage was undercooked, the omelet appeared overcooked, and instead of guacamole, it came with just a plain slice of avocado. That substitution alone was frustrating, but paired with the quality issues, it really missed the mark. I ordered the crispy chicken burrito, described as scrambled eggs, crispy chicken, shredded cheese, and pico de gallo on a 10-inch tortilla. The burrito was poorly assembled, with large, dry chunks of chicken nuggets, overcooked eggs, and no pico de gallo at all. Instead, it had cheese sauce poured on top. The presentation was honestly unappetizing--it looked rushed and thrown together, as if a small child had made it. The aesthetics of both dishes were not appealing, which made the food even harder to enjoy. That said, the inside of the restaurant is nice, clean, and spacious, and I appreciated that they offer outdoor seating. It's the kind of place we would have enjoyed returning to once the weather warms up--if the food had matched the atmosphere. Great experience. I see mixed reviews but I came and had a great experience. We ordered margaritas and they were really good. The kids got the non alcoholic drinks and felt super fancy with how they were served. We ordered the crispy chicken breakfast burrito, veggie breakfast burrito, kids breakfast burrito, yogurt cup, and sweet potato puffs. Everything was so so good. Several things wrong with the way they process payments. Credit card fee notification not posted on front door and not on pos. They charge a processing fee on debit cards which is a violation of the tos with Visa. Based on their total they charged higher than Visa allows (3%) they charged (3.75%). Also a violation of the tos. Also means they are making money off debit cards which is also a violation of the tos. Their suggested tip percentage is based on total with tax. Then when paying with a debit card, the tip percentage is based on total with taxes and processing fee. Menu reflects price of cash discounted price, not the price with credit card processing fee, which is also a violation of the tos. The food was alright as well as the atmosphere. The smaller portions don't match the high prices for breakfast food. Service staff were polite. Can update review once the above processing is fixed. read more

Food was good. The Tropical crepes are REALLY YUMMY! Brioche French toast is tasty but a little soft for our taste. Omelet was nice but eggs are very soft & wet, almost don't hold up on a fork but breakfast potatoes are fire! We definitely want to go again & try a few more items. Service was good. Seated promptly and the waitress was attentive without being overbearing. We ordered an bacon avocado omelet and the brioche French Toast. The French Toast had a good flavor, but was softer than it should have been. No butter or anything else provided, just a small shot glass of syrup. The omelet had good flavor, but seemed to be light on the avocado. My husband LOVED the breakfast potatoes. I think we need to give it another shot to try that Hawaiian Crepe. read more

Food is subpar, service needs a lot of work, ambiance is okay but it's always freezing cold. If they bring you the wrong plate and you decide to accept it rather than wait for a new plate make sure they charge accordingly. I accepted a smaller less expensive plate rather than wait for a new meal. She refused to adjust the price to the smaller plate I received. Her answer was you said it was "okay". Yes, for the smaller plate NOT to be charged for the more expensive meal. This place will not survive. I so wanted to LOVE it. read more

The service here was horrible. We waited over 10 minutes after being sat to be asked our drinks and then another 20 after that to order. And they were empty! Our food came out cold. We've eaten here before but likely never again. My wife and I went in for lunch and there were not a lot of people there. We got seated and served water fairly quickly. We asked the server to just give us a couple of minutes to decide on lunch. When she had not returned in more than 10 minutes I flagged down another server. She advised it was not her table and that our server was over at the water glasses. She never offered to go get her and never offered to take the order and then hand it off to our server and just stood there. We said never mind we're leaving. As we got up that second server said very sarcastically "have a nice day." I replied "yea, right" and she again said have a nice day in a sarcastic tone. As we were leaving I noticed our original server appeared to be cleaning glasses so I told the second server, "Tell the manager this poor service is unacceptable." Her response: "You folks need to calm down." Well, we were calm then and we're now calmly advising others that the service here is horrible. read more

Still a relatively new place, and service can be a little erratic, but I have had overall good experiences here. Somewhat of an industrial ambiance, but a comfortable place to eat. The food is usually tasty. Although Mexican-inspired, it is not very spicy. Most breakfast entrees are served with fried potato cubes, which are always well-fried. The green chilequiles are probably my favorite, although the red are tasty too. They also serve the standards such as breakfast burritos and tacos and more boring stuff like pancakes and waffles. There were 3 of us in our party. Everyone's order came out at different times. The restaurant was not busy. A inattentive waitress who didn't know what beverages were available and just giving up the same excuse it's my first day. I had to go find someone for syrup. Waitress did say sorry and then disappears. The flavor and temperature of the food was fine. No crayons for the kiddos. The food is mediocre at best. It's a breakfast place but they don't even know how to scramble eggs. They have been stirred into fine dry pieces. I have tried three times and it's the same each time. No server ever came to our table for drinks/food orders so I asked if we could place an order and they said "yeah just a second" and never came back. Horrible experience. Our server was extremely incompetent, writing our orders on her hand and ignoring us for over 30 minutes.
