    Tocino was salty and dry.

I had the breakfast platter this weekend. It was $5 more than it used to before the same portion. Unfortunately, the tocino was not fresh. It seemed like a leftover. It was dry. The garlic fried rice, egg and longanisa were good. For the price, another egg and longanisa wwood would be better.

"Oxtail" kare kare although the photo is obviously a neckbone.

We came in and seated ourselves. It took quite a while for someone to wait on us, and he apologized but there were also only three other tables and they all appeared to have already been served. We ordered lumpia which were great! We also ordered oxtail Kare kare for $26+ that wasn't even cooked long enough for it to be tender and falling apart (and looked more like neck bones than any oxtails I'm familiar with) and the triple pork adobo. The adobo was tender and flavorful (but incredibly salty, and I'm unsure of what the third pork included was as I only see belly (not crispy) and shoulder. The kare kare flavors weren't even melded. It seems that they threw together the dishes and hoped for the best. Unfortunately, for someone who is familiar with Filipino cooking...this just wasn't it. Their up-side is that there isn't an "it" in Denver that I've found. So maybe their take it or leave it approach works for some but not for me. In a stew I expect my meat to fall from the bone, regardless of what type of bone they chose to call oxtails. Pretty disappointing.

We went here on Sunday after Church. Was super skeptical because we are Filipino and my parents were in town so they came to try the food. It was pretty good. The biggest thing that annoys me in Filipino food restaurants is that sometimes it's too salty. I'm here to report this was not the case. We ordered quite a lot of food and we did not have a lot of leftovers because it was yummy. The best thing we had in my opinion was the bistek, Thai rice, and palabok. The service was fast and the lay out of the restaurant was very spacious and they had great updated furniture. I took off one Star because there were quite a few items on their menu that was sold out and unavailable.

The food was good, though nothing I'd go back for. I ordered 2 entrees but it was only enough for one person, very disappointing.

Ordered a couple times- and finally got a chance to dine in person…read more Upon sitting down the friendly owner told us about the origin story, how they started out as a food truck selling tacos and then now a sit down restaurant serving Filipino and New Mexican food as well. He then offered us a little sample of the Adobo Consommé. We got the lumpia, pork belly plate and the adobo bowl. Overall things tasted pretty great. My favorite was the pork belly plate. Maybe I am biased but the adobo while good, does not compare to the home cooking I have had the pleasure of experiencing back home in Singapore. Brought home the churros with dulce de leche which tasted delicious too. Side note: there was a 5% service fee which I don't think I was made aware of on the receipt.

I've had the chance to eat at the brick and mortar location quite a few times after moving closer…read moreto the location last year and I absolutely love most of the things that they have to offer. The lumpia is the long version and very tasty, the pancit, chicken adobo and lechon kawali plate is very good and when they have calamansi I try and get a cocktail with it because the juice tastes real lol. The few things that I think could use improvement are the tacos. I've had Taco Tuesday there maybe 4 times and unfortunately realized that the tacos are pretty oily and unless getting a non-sauce inclusive taco it's going to likely be oily. The fusion of Filipino into the tacos is a nice gesture but honestly did not do it that much for me, I ultimately like their classic types of tacos and not really the fancy/unique ones they sell. My friend also got a burrito at one point and it was dripping oil. The drinks also tend to be on the weak side and after having three cocktails there over a single meal I didn't really feel much of anything. The service and ambiance of the place is great and the owner really cares about the customers but the parking lot sucks lol, I'll continue to visit this spot for the items that I feel are good but haven't really been out for Taco Tuesday in a while.

Went here with a party of 4 on a Friday night - it had been on my list and was excited to try it…read moreout! We were seated promptly at 7, and had very attentive service. All of the cocktails we got were great (albeit mine was a bit boozy but my fault for not realizing it was a liquor-forward drink). My husband's ube cocktail was so fun! For food, we all shared Pandesal, lumpia, Bistek, pipino crunch, adobo fried rice and crab noodles. Everything was super tasty, I think my favorite might have been the pipino crunch (cucumber salad), or lumpia! The bistek was a little chewy, but I liked the relish coating it. The timing and order of the food was a little odd - instead of starting with the appetizers then mains, they brought out some mains then apps, with the lumpia being the very last thing to come out. Not the worst thing but the ordering was definitely a little weird (steak was one of the first items to come out). Overall, very enjoyable experience and love that this restaurant is on the InKind app!

You will have to look at the pictures to see what it all was. I can tell you, there was not anything that was served that was par or subpar. The flavors are bright, flavorful, and authentic. I had great customer service from the staff and a shoutout to the GM for her exceptional hospitality. My family of 4...2 kids had questions about the food and all of it was answered. There were great suggestions from the staff who seemed to be as enthusiastic about the food as we were. Despite being with a family, this is a great spot for date night with the lower lit ambiance and jams that makes this place lively. If you are in the Denver area, definitely check this place out, you won't be disappointed!!
