I had a great experience here! I was on a family vacation and this turned out to be a wonderful place to eat. I ordered the Don Pedro Roll and a Vegas Roll to go, and everything was fresh, delicious, and prepared really fast. The quality of the sushi really stood out. I also want to mention the excellent customer service--the lady at the front was very welcoming and friendly, which made the whole experience even better. This was our first time at Yokoso. We received a friendly greeting as we walked in and were seated immediately. We came between lunch and dinner so the restaurant was quiet. Our server, Josh, was friendly, attentive and answered our questions. We had the Tempura Vegetables, Gyoza, the Highlander Roll and The Panda Roll. We also tried their potato salad. The Tempura Vegetables were the best I've had in a long time. There was the standard onion and sweet potato. We were pleasantly surprised by the green beans and thinly sliced acorn squash. All the vegetables were delicious and the panko was perfectly fried. You could tell everything from the oil they were fried in to the vegetables themselves were fresh. The gyoza were standard and what one would expect. The two rolls we enjoyed were tasty and the presentation was very clean. The Highlander had a little heat and good flavor. The Panda Roll was something new for us. The protein in the roll was Katsu Chicken. It was a fun change and I love Katsu Chicken. The house made potato salad definitely had Japanese flavors. It was an interesting change. Our server Josh was great! Very attentive and helpful. This was a great first time out to Yokoso. We'll be back! Two small criticisms, the print on the menus is quite small and they do not have Diet Coke. Other than those two small things we really enjoyed our visit. The restaurant business is challenging. This place was so yummy! It was just across the way from our air-bnb so super convenient location as well. They came highly recommend by the locals for sushi so we had to give it a try. The employees were so helpful when deciding on what we should order. Their menu has plenty for the non sushi eaters as well. My husband ordered the wagyu burger and said it was so delicious! My partner and I went to this new amazing Japanese restaurant in Hurricane! We are so excited finally a place that is NOT fast food! The place is small but clean and friendly atmosphere! The food came out fast and delicious! Our hostess Janell is super friendly as our server Tristin was as well! The takoyaki was so good and I wanted another order. The sushi just melts in your mouth. Not fusion, but a twist on some familiar dishes and others are as expected. I like the creamy fresh cole slaw with a kiss of heat. Addictive. The chopsticks are first rate. If you are not a raw fresh fan, there are other dishes and substitutions that can be done. The sushi and rolls are expertly prepared. Wonderful portions. Husband ordered the chicken donburi. It was like a deconstructed donburi. Tasty chicken morsels, juicy scrambled eggs and crispy slaw on rice. I had the special which was panko crusted salmon and I selected unagi/eel roll. Came here for dinner on a Friday evening. We were seated right away at the bar, there was a bit of a wait if you wanted a table We saw that it was a relatively new spot with great reviews which explained why they were pretty busy, but also explains why the service felt like a bit of a mess. Our server seemed very new, coming back to us several times really quickly after we were seated asking if we were ready to order. I asked about the side dishes with my sando and she incorrectly told me that the sunumono salad was sashimi, so i was surprised when a bowl of cucumbers came out With all that said, we thought our sandos were quite good. I had the tuna tataki one and the fish was very tasty. My friend had the burger one and loved it. I do think they'd be improved going with the milk bread instead of the burger bun, but not too big of a ding on it. I did find the prices to be pretty high for the area, though with seafood it didn't feel too egregious Overall we had a solid experience and hopefully they're able to improve the service aspect as they're open for longer read more

We've been twice this week, it's THAT good, and we're already planning to go back again! The food is incredibly fresh and absolutely delicious. You can tell they truly care about their guests and are dedicated to getting everything just right. We had a small hiccup with the saltiness on our first visit, and when we kindly mentioned it, they were so appreciative and responsive. We visited Yokoso during their soft launch and couldn't have been more impressed. Both our appetizers (Gyoza and Sushi Poppers) and entrees (Tempura and Chicken Katsu) were very good. We have been there twice in the last week and have nothing but wonderful comments for this small, higher-end restaurant. This is an environment for adults to enjoy conversations. It feels like an urban neighborhood favorite, styled sleek and clean. They only seat 55 people on 12 tables with four seats at the bar. They will take reservations. They offer a full menu, everything is prepared for the customer, so special requeata are welcomed. The food is incredibly fresh with the classic rolls running between $7- $15. The sushi is fresh, it was never frozen, and served in generous portions. We got the 12pc platter to try traditional offerings. Flawless. Miso soup is made with actual miso! One of the specialties of the house is called a volcano, which is a California roll, piled high with diced flame-seared scallops and a traditional dynamite-style sauce. It's incredible. They offer A large wagu beef burger and Katsu chicken sandwich that look good. I will never get to try them; to enjoy anything but their sushi would be a wasted trip, however The Salmon Three Ways entree is really tempting! Dinner for 4 will run you about $120. They are open for lunch. Service is attentive. Order timing is typical for a Japanese restaurant. Casual dress. No alcohol license, yet. read more

Had dinner with my best friend tonight. My second time at Yokoso. Service was amazing. We shared Agedashi tofu and spicy garlic edamame as appetizers. I love Agedashi tofu and this did not disappoint! The edamame was spicy but not too much! And definitely garlicky! Large portion so I'm happy to snack on it tomorrow. We split 3 rolls: The Panda, The Vegas, and the BTC. I wasn't sure about cilantro in a sushi rolls but it was amazing in the BTC! Added a freshness that was unexpected but so amazing! My friend got the tempuradon with fried rice. I had it before and it was still great 6 months later. Yokoso is amazing with a twist on "the usual" Japanese rolls and cuisine. I highly recommend Yokoso. The owner/chef is so friendly and I can see his love for the cuisine. Unfortunately with so many great reviews I'll have to start making reservations but small price to pay for amazing Japanese in southern Utah! Do. Not. Sleep. On. This. Place. We had a lovely dinner at Yokoso last night. We ordered the vegetable tempura with shrimp, a beef bowl, and chicken katsu sandwich. All the food was fresh, hot, and delicious. The chicken katsu sandwich reminded us of the same delicious sandwich at Kenji Burger in Hawaii, which we found out was the inspiration here! :) Bravo! This place is soooo good. They've only been open for about three weeks and we've been there six times already. We love their PD roll, Vegas roll, Regal roll, and the Agadashi tofu. We loved the volcano roll too, but that one is huge and is a meal on its own. We highly recommend this place. They are the best sushi restaurant in all of Southern Utah and the owners are amazing too! They have been so welcoming and have grown to recognize the "regulars" already. Sorry for the bad photos. The tempura that comes with it was clean, crispy and very delicious. The fish was fresh and quite good. Our expectations were exceeded. It was better sushi than I have had anywhere locally. The food is true to Japanese culture, without actually being in Japan. Service is great and the chef and management are so nice, I look forward to coming back again. My husband and I tried a couple sushi rolls, and they were delicious. He got BTS, and I got the Panda. Wish I took pictures because the presentation was beautiful. The ambiance left something to be desired, as we were seated between two other tables evidently celebrating together (awkward). Additionally, the five or six staff were conducting overwatch of the patrons while leaning against the wall only a few feet away.
