Beautiful place our bartender rob was outstanding. We just led the very hot ( as usual) Japanese festival and didn't win the raffle that would have made my summer haha . We had two great drinks didn't catch the name but loved loved it. I was told they do have Hh everyday they are open from 12-4 . All their gourmet cocktails are bogo:))! Stopped in the other day when I was in town working with someone on my team. This is a hidden gem outside you would think typical strip mall food place-inside is like you stepped into NYC or LA vibes. We both had the lunch special and started with the hot and sour soup. 5/5 it actually had heat and huge portion. My coworker is Chinese and said this is the most authentic hot and sour soup she has had in the city! Avocado egg rolls were a nice portion size, but we could have done without. Enjoyed a great meal at Yoko. Had the deep fried broccoli app and lettuce wraps , both excellent. Share two main courses. A Mongolian beef and kung pao chicken. Also very tasty. Finished it with orange blossom ice cream, dairy free, and it was a perfect dessert. The decor and service added positively to the experience. Will go back!! read more

Updated review after 24 days: Wow--can't believe how popular Yoko has become! Visited on a random Wednesday night and the place was absolutely packed. While I'm really happy to see this spot getting the love it deserves, be prepared for a lively (read: loud!) atmosphere and a bit of a wait. We waited quite a while for our drinks--almost didn't get them until the end of our meal, which was disappointing. The food is still delicious and up to their usual high standard, but the service felt a bit rushed, probably because of the crowd. I'm thrilled this gem is being discovered by more people, but hope they can keep things running smoothly--especially getting drinks out on time and making sure diners don't feel hurried. Still worth a visit, just go in knowing it might be a bustling experience! read more

I've honestly never experienced something like this before, and it left me really disappointed. After craving sushi my entire pregnancy, my fiancé and I were so excited to finally go out and enjoy a meal, especially as new parents with our 2-week-old baby. We walked into the restaurant, only to be stopped at the door and told that only children 14 and older were allowed. The waiter even mentioned he has a toddler himself that he can't bring. I completely understand that some places have policies, but this felt really surprising and honestly discouraging, especially considering our baby is a newborn, quiet, and would have stayed in his carrier the entire time. There was no flexibility, no empathy, just a flat-out refusal at the door. As a new mom, getting out of the house is already a big step, and this experience made it feel even harder. I've dined at many restaurants before and have never encountered a rule like this, especially applied to a newborn. Just something for other parents to be aware of before making the trip. I was really looking forward to this experience, and it ended before it even began. read more

Quite disappointed in the service. Food was just ok with the ribeye being the best thing we ordered. Nice setting but we felt rushed by the waiter in ordering everything at once. Then he would never come back to ask if we needed anything like drinks etc. Sushi came with no soy sauce so we kept having to ask for things, pretty annoying. Instead of the server trying to actually make sure the experience went well he just wanted to budge into our photo we were trying to take. The kicker was they made us switch tables in the middle of our meal. Not worth the mandatory 20% gratuity to be made felt unwanted. read more

From their high quality to their wide range menu to their friendly service and their modern ambiance. It was my first time but it will definitely not be my last. Went for our wedding anniversary. Won't be back. The drinks were nice but the service was terrible. I think the people sitting near us were nicer than the server who just seemed like he wanted to turn the table. So much so that he told us we had to switch tables in the middle of our meal. (He didn't ask, he told us.) that has never happened to me at any nice restaurant. We've been to many nice places! I really wanted to like it as I like supporting local. Food is the best- from the wide selection of appetizers, the incredibly fresh fish menu, and the entree dishes. Then lets talk about the service- it is world class. The second I sat down someone came to take my jacket. Following that, all waiters and servers are attentive.
