Always coming through as I decided to dine in this time around. I called my order in prior to heading there. When I arrived my food was ready and waiting for me at my table. The food came out fresh and so tasty. I went with my go to, tuna volcano poke bowl and ordered a spicy California Maki roll on the side. It was way too much food so I took the remainder of the poke bowl home since that sits well as leftovers. The ambaince is pretty chill with a few groups dining. All in all, extremely happy with my order

Yes, you have to try this place, it offers a great variety of unique Korean-inspired dishes, from sushi to flavorful noodle options. We ordered the KR Fusion fries with bulgogi, and they were absolutely delicious. The fried rice was also a hit, and the yakisoba had this rich, creamy texture that made it stand out. The service was amazing the staff member handled everything seamlessly, from taking orders to running food and managing the register, all while staying efficient and attentive. The ambiance is super cozy, with beautiful decor that makes the whole experience even better.

There is a large parking lot out front and plenty of seating inside. There is also a large party room available for big groups. We ordered the Korean style sweet and sour beef-tangsooyook (breaded chunks of beef in a white sweet and sour sauce, with onions, pineapple and bell peppers), Korean noodles with black bean sauce (jjajangmyun), and garlic chicken wings (kan-poong-ki). The chicken wings were originally intended to be spicy but we were able to get them non-spicy for our small child. The jiajangmyun was pretty standard and the chicken wings were tender and easy to eat (small child could eat them easily with the bone). The sweet and sour beef was my favorite of the three dishes and was really flavorful. Overall, food was good and staff were kind. We will be back for more!

My favorite go-to dishes are the fried chicken (kangpoongki) , black bean noodles (jajangmyun), tangsooyook and mongolian beef. You can't go wrong with any of these dishes. There are days when I crave jajangmyun and I have yet to find a place in the Chicago area that beats the jajangmyun here. I usually take food to go, but dining in is also a treat. I have never had a wait to get a table, food is served relatively quickly and the staff are all friendly. When dining in, you also get their hot house tea, served in its own teapot. They also have a bigger party room upstairs that they allow you to rent FOR FREE!

Finally try it after reading the rave review posted by fellow Yelper, Joy C. and #2.) To break my husband into the varied Filipino menu (aside from what he's been exposed to eating during family dinners) as we approach our upcoming trip to the Philippines. I gotta say the food is pretty good! My favorites are obviously their renowned eggrolls. We personally enjoyed the beef and pork filled lumpia. Other favorites were the Binondo fried chicken, the Mushroom and Tofu Adobo, Lechon Kawali and the cholesterol inducing Crispy Pata! LoL! Service was courteous, albeit slow, but when the food came out the quality shined. I would love to return to have more eggrolls, try out their sweets (they have a big selection) and come back for the Beef Pares-Miki Noodle. I liked the modern Tagalog/Filipino music selection along with the spacious and comfy seating. They have a good sized parking lot and it's definitely a solid place to enjoy Filipino food.

Especially to save anybody else from what we had to endure. We came in for dinner after a long, exhausting day of running errands.... myself, my sister, and my 83-year-old mother. We were seated modestly quickly, which gave us hope. Unfortunately, that was the only thing that went right. Shortly after being seated, a man who appeared to be our server approached us not to take our order, but to tell us he was "too busy" to wait on us and that someone else would come. That set the tone immediately. When another server finally did come over, things didn't improve. It took OVER 15 minutes for Server to acknowledge us, And another 10 minutes just to take our order, while we watched multiple tables who were seated after us being served promptly and efficiently. At that point, we should have left. I eventually received an appetizer, but my mother and sister received nothing. As I sat there awkwardly picking at my food, we watched surrounding tables (who arrived after us), receive full meals before us. We flagged down our server, and only then were we casually informed that my mother's meal had been given to another table. No apology beforehand. No proactive communication. No attempt to correct it until we had to ask. Let that sink in: an elderly woman sat there (over a hour now), waiting, ignored, while her meal was served to someone else and no one thought to inform us. At that point, we got up and left. The front door staff were the only bright spots. They were polite and immediately got the manager. The manager assured my sister that the situation would be "handled," that we would be contacted, and that some form of recompense would be made for the experience. She was also so apologetic... But her apologies were as devoid is truth as her personality was devoid of any humanity. So her promises that she would reach out that we would be recompensed well...That never happened. No call. No follow-up. No accountability. As for the food? I can't fairly review it because we never actually received it. The small portion of appetizer I did get was nothing memorable, and the sake was honestly subpar. What I can review is the service, (if one can call it that,) and it was abysmal. Disorganized, inattentive, and completely lacking in basic professionalism and respect. Promises were made and not kept, which makes the experience even worse. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. There are too many places that actually value their customers' time, dignity, and experience. Save yourself the frustration and go elsewhere.

I went here for lunch and had a nice experience, overall. I have had bb.q Chicken food at a different location before but this was my first time at this location. It wasn't busy when we got here. We were seated promptly. We took our time in deciding a I could not decide between getting wings or 1/2 fried chicken. Finally, I decided to go with 1/2 fried chicken (8 pieces) since I hadn't had it before. The small order of wings also comes with eight pieces and is a couple of dollars less than the 1/2 fried chicken. The food was freshly prepared. The chicken was hot when it came out. My wife got a lunch special of 8 pieces boneless wings in honey garlic sauce which came with fries and a soft drink. I got my 1/2 fried chicken in Spicy Galbi sauce. My chicken was very flavorful. The sauce had a nice taste. It was a bit sweet, a bit savory, and a light kick of heat. One thing different with having this 1/2 fried chicken from the wings I had at a different bb.q Chicken was that the 1/2 fried chicken pieces were not as meaty as the wings. The boneless wings flavor was good as well. The food hit the spot. The service was satisfactory. Next time, I'll go back to having wings.

Quite a surprise for me since the photos of this spot suggest that this is an obscure dive bar. But…read morethe food here is beyond passable bar food -- and is actually very good. The atmosphere here is definitely unique, unlike most restaurants, and even bars in the suburbs. Definitely great if you're someone who is into sports, comic books, and also likes to discover hidden gems. Service here is best described as prompt but sassy, but also something that can't be accurately described (in a good way) and just needs to be experienced in person. I'm not exactly sure if there's a menu, as the regulars seem to already know what to order - but this is something that can be researched online and is both bolder in flavor and more interesting than what you can typically find in a bar, or Korean restaurant. Kind of a fusion between familiar and tasty American bar food -- but with Korean influences to elevate the flavors. All the food I tried here shined both in texture and flavor. The seafood pancake had a great crisp on the outside and generous amounts of seafood inside. It was packed with tasty herbs and a slightly chewy texture that was still fantastic after I reheated it the next day. The Korean fried chicken used large wings and drumsticks, which really helped to provide more tender and moist meat than some local competitors. This was super crispy, possibly more crispy than similar options at Bonchon and CM chicken. A small warning for the spicy options, as this is a higher spiciness level than what many people may be used to with fried chicken. The kimchi fried rice has a great mix of egg, kimchi, and seasonings that create a delicious dish even for those who may not particularly care for the flavor profile of kimchi. Putting the flame torch to the egg and rice adds a good smokiness to the dish, and the mix of onion and egg really adds a lot of umami to the dish. Overall, this is a unique dining experience and worth a visit as the food is flavorful, inexpensive, and well executed. Especially worth a visit for anyone who likes bar food but wants something a bit higher quality and packed with flavors -- this is definitely not the menu you'd find at a traditional Korean spot.
