While we usually order delivery, it was restaurant week and my husband's birthday so we took our eldest out to a Sunday early dinner. Service was great. They were accommodating for our toddler and gave an extra dessert for my husband's birthday. They have high chairs but my toddler doesn't like sitting in them. Food was good. Good deal. The rolls were a little different from last year. I preferred the Neta maki over the ocean drive though. I liked the kabayaki unagi maki esp with my favorite yuzu truffle sauce. The dessert options were more this time but my husband thought the chocolate cake and cheesecake were too sweet by themselves. My daughter devoured them since she usually doesn't get sweets like this at home.
Wow this is a gem in Park Ridge! The food is outstanding and the service is even better. Inside is not big but enough seats to accommodate the lunch rush. I love the cleanliness and modern design of the interior. I've heard many friends stopping by especially since it is new to the area and not one has anything bad to say. I can't wait to try their drinks menu when we go back. Super cute date night spot or meet up spot for the girls to start the night. *Highy recommended* the salmon citrus roll!
Family owned sushi restaurant. Sashimi is some of the freshest, best quality in the area. Chef owner is talented hard worker. Staff is friendly and attentive. Highly recommend.
This is an updated review and the first time I was here was earlier this year probably about five or six months ago. I have to say this place is still top-notch great quality, fish and creative, sushi rolls or maki's that are available. The sushi bar that is directly in front of all the seating is open and so you can see everything being made fresh, which is fantastic. They move very quickly and food comes out and turns around very quickly. The weight staff here ladies are very, very nice and friendly and super patient. When you look at what's in the area of downtown Parkridge for sushi options this has to be the best value and the best quality. There are trendy or sushi places within walking distance however the exact same tuna roll at those places are twice the price and absolutely absurd The staff here behind the sushi bar also is very nice and friendly. Great to come here always on a Sunday because parking in downtown is free and ample. Love coming here and will keep on coming here!!
Amazing sushi and great ambiance! Stopped in after dropping friends off at the airport. The texture of the salmon, scallop, and shrimp was best I've ever had, so soft! Great flavoring from the Golden EBI roll. Besides the rolls we also enjoyed the miso soup and pork goyza! Definitely will be stopping in again!
Hands down the best sushi experience in PR. I do recognize that in PR there are other options close by, but this is a stripped down restaurant, that's small and the menu is focused. I love this. There's no fluff on the menu, and having never been here at less than half occupancy, it's a well loved spot. This is a regular and a must for me.
Neta Sushi is easily one of my favorite sushi restaurants in the Chicago suburbs. The Sushi Sashimi Bento is an amazing value with chef's choice sushi, sashimi, salad, and a California roll all in one meal. Everything tasted incredibly fresh. The Truffle Yuzu Salmon was phenomenal and the Wasabi Tuna roll was packed with flavor thanks to the spicy tuna, tempura shrimp, and truffle yuzu sauce. Highly recommend!
Free parking and hassle free and close to the restaurant. The food is very fresh and nice ratio of rice to fish for the nigiri. The Golden Ebi shrimp tempura roll $16 was very good. The $12 truffle yuzu salmon was very buttery and fresh and soft and not salty. The sauce was perfect with just a little sweetness to it. The fried tofu $7 was okay. It was swimming in tasty tempura sauce which it didn't need bc it was a waste and will be thrown out. Sushi combo A was $28 and had 2 big rolls (California and Spicy Tuna w LOTS of tuna). See picture. Staff were very calm and hard working and respectful. The place is very clean and I could smell the clean as soon as I came into the place. The food came out very fast.
Well, here is the deal. It's a legit awesome sushi place. This is probably one of the best sushi I have tasted in Chicago area. The fish was fresh, the service is excellent. The decor is clean and inviting, it does feels like they would get fairly busy. The sweet shrimp is on point, the fried head is also nice and crunchy without is being overly burnt. The nigiri is nice, the rice has great complexity of vinegar, but not overpowering. Melt in your mouth goodness! Also to note, their Ika Kara age (deep fried squid) is really good! I cannot believe there is such tenderness in the squid meat, wrapped by such delicate crunchy texture of the tempura batter! I would love to order more if I was not in a rush catching my flight, but of course there would always be next time!
10/10, no doubt! The service and food is unbeatable. I've visited three times now and this is my go-to when family and friends are in town. The service and food is also consistent - fresh, quality, and worth every dime. It's typically not too packed in here and fairly quiet so the servers are very attentive. They also have clean bathrooms available. My absolute favorite is their spicy tuna roll. They also have a great miso soup (although a tad pricey, everything else is priced fairly). Their jalapeño poppers are a unique warm app and I love the cream cheese and lightly fried touch. They also serve a Spider Roll that's a great bang for your buck and honestly the best I've had. Their Hama Chili is another great one and really refreshing, along with Salmon Citrus. You really can't go wrong no matter what you choose and you'll be shocked, even when you add Sake, how affordable your bill is. I hope they always stay this consistent and I'll always keep visiting.

From our server, to the staff behind the counter, everyone had such great vibes, everyone had big smiles and they really made the experience great. We tried a bunch of different things. We enjoyed it all. The Spicy Tuna Crispy Rice is everything you'd expect and want crispy rice to be. Flavorful, fresh, crispy with a little kick of heat. Would order again for sure. We tried both noodle dishes which we enjoyed as well, I honestly haven't had Udon or Yakisoba prior, so I have nothing to compare it to, but everyone really liked them. We also had the Chicken Karaage (Japanese fried chicken) appetizer and that was some good chicken. It exceeded expectations - it was so flavorful, juicy and extra crispy. The sauce and peppers that accompanied it made it such a well rounded enjoyable dish. If someone doesn't like fish in your party, they will love this. We also ordered a variety of rolls. What I can for say for sure is that the ingredients are very fresh. The rice was just right - fresh, warm and sticky, held its shape and separates in your mouth so you aren't chewing dense rice. It had a great flavor on its own. It wasn't bland. The fish was vibrant and colorful, delicately sliced and really had no fish taste at all. It is obvious that it is very fresh and properly handled. The fish was buttery tender and melted in your mouth. The prices are reasonable and the overall experience from the staff to the food was five stars. We had a reservation for a group of 4 and two children. The staff was super friendly and got us what we needed including a high chair. The food is where it's at. We ordered sushi and everything was so fresh. We got the sushi combination b, nigiri combination and the neta deluxe and that was more than enough for the 4 adults. They also bring you a miso soup as well to start which was perfect on the rainy day we went. They do get busy so it is better to make a reservation. We have also ordered take out before too and I have to say that the food comes just as fresh. read more
Had some pretty great sushi in Park Ridge and not too crazy of prices for it either. It has a pretty big menu of appetizers and rolls. Neta Sushi is one of those restaurants that close between lunch and dinner and they expand the menu to more stuff. A casually classy type of atmosphere. The prices are okay for quality. Coming in here it was pretty chill. It's got plenty of tables so it's okay for groups. They also have a bar so customers can sit there and watch them make sushi. A lot of these usual items. They also have a few cocktails and other things like sake. It's about $7 for beers. They have Japanese ones like Sapporo. Certainly the food is why people come. It's about $6 to get the cheapest options. A few good ones for vegetarians to get. We got the Chili Avocado Maki and the Shiitake Mushroom Maki. Came with kimchi and wasabi paste like always. These were pretty filling to be honest. A few other menu items to check out if liking authentic. There's squid and that kind of stuff. Got to be the best place to get sushi around here. It's closed Mondays. There's a few things okay for vegans and vegetarians. read more
We game after watching our nephews baseball game on a Friday and were pleased to find this on Yelp with such great reviews. It's quaint - doesn't have a lot of decor, but it's decent looking. We sat at a two top by the front door and window, but it is next to a short wall with a decorative piece on the shelf so it makes that table kind of private. We were amazed to see how many servers they had working that evening when we arrived 7:30 pm without a reservation. There were probably six open tables and within half an hour the place was completely packed so they had staffed up well with five servers for maybe 15 tables. We enjoyed the ike karaage which is octopus tentacles. They call them squid on the menu, but squid tentacles are much smaller than that. They were crispy on the outside and tender inside. The dipping sauce was super light and fluffy maybe with a tiny bit of lemon and miso and it complemented the karaage very well. We also had the blistered shishito peppers which were dusted with ground red pepper and came with a soy base dipping sauce and a lemon. We thought maybe they would be good with the miso lemon aïoli, but actually they were much better dipped in the soy sauce mixture. My entree was the sashimi salad, which really had an enormous amount of fish. All I could see was tuna and salmon chunks (probably leftovers that could not be used in sushi because of their shape) with a nice mixture of greens and tobiko. It was lightly dressed with a soy, ginger and sesame vinaigrette and very tasty. My husband had the hama chili roll and it was very light but flavorful. The pricing is great and we plan on returning in the near future. read more

There are a lot of sushi restaurants to choose from in the area and Neta is by far the best. Best in value, best in quality, and best in flavors! Their appetizers, like salmon truffle sashimi and uni with scallops, are always on our list to order. Their portions are very large and the Neta Sushi combination deluxe is definitely shareable. I would recommend asking for fresh wasabi on the side for a little extra, but is worth it. read more

Really inviting and clean modern interior brought us to a table in this new sushi option in uptown Park Ridge. And it's complete with a sushi bar! We were most impressed with the acoustics- even though the place was packed we had no trouble carrying on normal conversation. The food was terrific. We tried something of everything from Tempura to Sushi Combination A to the Yakisoba. But watch out for the salads- they are huge! Everything was fresh and tasty and the service was spot on. read more

Wife and I decided to try this spot. Very good. Catered to my gluten allergy. Great upgrade to what used to be in this location. May've found my new go-to sushi spot. Service was solid and met the owner who is the chef. Good dude. Hip design and great loungey music. read more

FANTASTIC. Food was great, and the service was phenomenal. Ordered the sushi combo A and B (both came with a miso soup), a house salad (great ginger dressing and a variety of leafy greens), and nabeyaki udon (great portion size for the price). Drinks were tasty as well! Loved the interior decor, very nice and modern. Entire restaurant is super clean. Bathrooms were extremely clean and well kept - plus they smelled great!
