Yo-Way deserves all the stars, honestly. This place makes some of the freshest and tastiest sandwiches in the South Bay. It's a small shop that's easy to miss while driving, but absolutely worth stopping by. The owner, David, and his staff are all friendly, and the sandwiches are made to order. Vegetables/toppings are top quality - crisp, clean, and layered well on the bread. Portion-to-price ratio is fair, too, especially on a French roll. Some recommendations: Tuna salad - dried cranberries (aka "craisins") add a touch of sweetness and texture to the mix. Pastrami - the real star of any LA sandwich/burger joint worth its real estate. #4 POP'S ITALIAN!!!!! Oh my goodness! It was a nice hot day in Gardena. Found this place on Yelp. Reviews looked good and so did the photos. I went for it. Glad I did. First off I want to shout out David for the great service. Very polite and friendly. Helped me navigate through the menu and pointed out some suggestions. I went with the #4. This thing is huge! I only eat twice a day and it kept me full. All of the fresh cut veggies and quality cuts of meat didn't slow me down or make me sluggish. That's how I know it's good food. I might have lost a lot of weight but I still have the big boy appetite lol I'm definitely coming back and I'm bringing friends. I had the blazon Cajun turkey sandwich. It was really good! I ordered it for the next day and it was still very good. If your going on a road trip, order a sandwich here to eat on the road later. I would come back again. I think it was the owners that were there working. Very friendly people. I took my food to go. Pleasant service. I'm sure eating lunch there would have been fine. When the sandwich cravings come it's tough to not think of Yo-Way to satisfy my day. This place knows how to pack a hefty and delicious sandwich. Upon entering, I was warmly greeted by the energetic staff who were eager to create and serve me up their behemoth of a sandwich. I chose to get a create my own sammie and went with the chicken and provolone with the standard lettuce, tomato and mustard on wheat. When I saw the pile of meat stacked high on the bread I knew I had come to the right place. The entire sandwich was almost the diameter of my car's steering wheel! The sandwich was delicious and very satisfying. I've been searching for a sandwich shop that would let me customize my sandwiches to the full extent, and I finally found the one. You fill out a slip and it goes from the bread you want down to little details like if you want it to be cut diagonally or bagged separately. 1.28.2022 We stopped here today for lunch, WOW ! clean like a hospital and super friendly staff, my Sweet had the 'Blazin Cajun' sandwich, I had a 'Poppin Pastrami' and if you like pastrami this one is not typical but very, _VERY_ good . My fiancé wanted a deli sandwich for lunch today, and I'm so glad I found this place on Yelp. We were pleasantly surprised to meet the owners who were so kind, explained the ordering process, and seemed to work so well as a team. The restaurant is small but inviting, with jazz music playing in the background and inspirational quotes on the walls. Their menu is extensive with lots of toppings and bread choices. I got the spicy Crazy Cajun turkey sandwich and added avocado, and my fiancé designed his own sandwich. Everything was delicious and SO fresh! Fresh ingredients and quality meats is the reason why they gave us coming back again and again. That blazing Cajun is the favorite but they have all kinds of sandwiches for every taste buds. I first came to Yoway around 4-5 years who street my friends Brian told me about the place. Since then, I've brought my boyfriend here and it is hands down his favorite sandwich place of all time. He brought his younger brother here who also loved itand wants to bring his youngest brother here too to share in his joy. The portions of the sandwiches did get smaller, but I wasn't sad about it. Normally i would be, but I still left fully satiated and happy, so that's good for me. Honestly though, more then the meat, the bread really does it for me. It's SO delicious every time. Parking: Ok. If it's busy it'll be tough to find a spot. Service: Outstanding. The owner was extremely helpful, guiding, and friendly. He made great recommendations based on what I told him I enjoyed. Food: Incredible. You can really taste the freshness of each of the ingredients. I went with the Pops Italian and didn't look back. When I unwrapped them I noticed that the amount of meats was much, much less than before. I had to cut them in half, then use the meats from one half to build up the other half. I am hoping that this was a one-time mistake on the part of the person who made them. I will go back next Saturday as usual and buy a couple just to make sure. If they continue to be skimpy, I will no longer buy them.

They always Boss Up! Let's start with the packaging - because presentation begins before the first bite. It's like trying to get into Fort Knox You literally have to cut your way in, and I LOVE that. It guarantees your food is sealed, fresh, and not tampered with. Now let's talk about the food... whew! Whether it's their fresh, delicious salads or these humongous, fully loaded potatoes, the quality is always on point. Everything is flavorful, well-seasoned, and made with care. And that chili?! I don't know if it's homemade, but it definitely tastes like it. And if it's not - keep doctoring it up, because it is DELICIOUS! Rich, hearty, and full of flavor. Thank you, The Toss Up! My go-to selects are the mudslide (a protein smoothie), the breakfast croissant (what makes this bomb us how much you get on it - 4 proteins!) And the vanilla cold brew with oat milk topped sea salt foam. The pesto chicken sandwich is being eyed however. I really need to try more of the menu. Today, T.K. made my sandwich. He told me he made it with love and asked me if I wanted to see it. I was so hungry and so happy that he made it with love and was excited to see his creation. It was magnificent! And Michael (I think, sorry if I got that wrong) made a wonderful cold brew for me today, too! They were both new employees but so attentive to me and it really made my day even better. They have a points program, too. Every 50 points earns you $5 off. The store is always clean. They have a small seating area but they somehow manage to make it feel roomy by maximizing the space. There is plenty of seating with a mounted television, too. I love the little details and the effort they make. For example, they offer flavored coffee creamer. I am very particular when it comes to my coffee which is why I tend to never order coffee when I'm out. Instead, I usually do like a latte or cappuccino but having these options is clutch. I make mine at home with french vanilla creamer so this makes me smile. Also, I believe their coffee is dark roast which is right up my alley. It is all I drink. Don't swing no medium roast my way. Great for studying if you're able to nab a seat; they have three tables that seat 4 (maybe 5 if you bunch up on the bench). The natural lighting makes it pretty nice to so some work in there. They have an extension cord with multiple outlets tucked in the corner under the corner table. Service (4/5): Server was friendly and quick. I'm glad he asked if regular milk was okay because it reminded me that it's not for my husband. It's a small thing but it's appreciated! I also loved the little surprise of getting some extra smoothie in a small cup, perfect for my daughter. Why can't other shops be like this? Appreciate it! Drink (4/5): The strawberry banana smoothies tasted fresh. Real fruit bits and not overly sweet or artificial tasting. My husband and I both noted that it had great flavor. My only gripe was that it was still a bit icy; it was hard at times sucking the smoothie out of the boba straw we used. If it were blended fully and smoothly, I would say it would be near perfect. Would we come back? Based on this experience, if we need a quick stop for a drink before the freeway, this makes for a good stop. I wouldn't mind trying out one of their match drinks next time (those look pretty good)!

One thing to note is they charge a fee for credit card purchases, so cash might save you a little if you come often. Overall, still a solid local spot for a quick bite, especially breakfast, and I'll probably still come back.

Then I asked if she heard me because I wasn't sure, she responded with "yeah I heard you loud and clear". That type of response was unnecessary.
