My husband finally brought me here after praising this place for a yr. I must say the burgers are amazing. Its Shake Shack level amazing minus the gooey cheese that I love so much on my shackstack. Anyway, the toppings are free which is much appreciated. I got every topping on the menu minus the grilled onion. There's 5 sauce options as well. The fries are amazing! They're so well seasoned, although a bit too salty, that I felt perfectly fine eating the fries w/o ketchup, which is rare. The fries were perfectly crispy as well. The froyo is good. I got the blueberries & Cream have the Strawberry. However, some of the fruit is almost spoiled. The raspberries were all so mushy that I didn't get any even tho I really wanted raspberries. The blueberries, blackberries, & kiwi weren't fresh either. The fruit toppings section was a huge disappointment. Otherwise, I wuda given this place 5 stars. read more

The business was wiling to reschedule us but it would be for another 2 hours. We decided to reschedule and walk around get a bite in the meantime. During our walk, we lucked up on 'Yo-Burger'. It was a very HOT Saturday afternoon. We walked in and noticed a short line. The place overall, wasn't too packed. There is plenty of seating inside and outside. The menu is pretty straight forward and features American classics (burgers, veggie burgers, hot dogs), drinks, shakes, smoothies, and frozen yogurt. There is also beer and wine for sale. Toppings are free for the most part with the exception of mushrooms, bacon, and eggs. We both ordered cheeseburgers with fries and some drinks. We did not try the shakes or frozen yogurt, but the yogurt seems to be self-serve and they offer both low fat and nonfat. The burger itself was very tasty and exceeded my expectations. Honestly, if you like Five Guys or Johnny Rockets burgers, you will like Yo-Burger. The burger was fresh, juicy, and well-cooked. I really did not expect it to taste as good as it did and we were both pleased. The fries were also tasty and hot. Free refills on fountain drinks. No issues, no complaints. Solid shake shack-esque burger joint much needed in riverdale. Got the double bacon cheeseburger with the works. Meat is just step below shake shack but i'm complaining, just commenting. Bacon was super crispy and didnt get soggy amongst the toppings. Fries are not as good as shakeshack in terms of flavor, but fresh, hot and crispy nonethe less. NOT a fan of the fro-yo. Got the tart but wasn't that tart and was just a bit off, perhaps too creamy. OVERALL: craving a burger in the area, come here. read more

Have been coming here for years and have genuinely loved both the service and food. In recent experiences I've noticed the quality of service decline tremendously with the staff working the evening shift. Most recently I've had to come back because the person at the register forgot to enter half of my order. When I returned there was zero apology for their error and they continued congregating with what seemed like a friend. I used to come to this place 2 times every other week to enjoy a nice burger. Suddenly workers became arrogant and very rude. They started making my orders incorrectly and when i politely asked to fix my food i got a cold burger back. The employee in the kitchen started making jokes about what i missed on my burger on top of the food. Making me feel uncomfortable. The old man who's the cashier was being rude and speaking inside my bag of food made lose my appetite and leave the store. The ambiance was horrible. They need better staff they all have bad manners not very well customer service to those loyal customers. Why are loyal customers being treated like that. We're not from the area but have been piqued by this spot every time we visited friends in the neighborhood. It is legit. My husband who craves In N Out burgers kinda compared this joint to said west coast chain. If Shake Shack and In & Out had a foodbaby...Yo Burger would be it. The best way to describe their food is a weird hybrid of the two - minus animal fries. Price point is equal with Shake Shack...which is fine because the quality is there and this place isn't a zoo. Hands down better than Five Guys, but a close second to Shake Shack. (Sorry, but you can't top a Shack Stack unless you start deep frying a portabella mushroom and stuffing it with cheese.) Once in a while I'll add an egg. The fries are pretty good. Nothing overwhelmingly special but they're always hot and crisp. I've lived around the corner since April and have yet to try the frozen yogurt (the Yo in YoBurger in case you didn't figure it out) since I'm always borderline in a food coma leaving this place. They were crunchy on the outside but soft inside not too salty but also had enough flavors that I forgot I had no ketchup. The Oreo milkshake was delicious (no vegan options) but vanilla took the cake. Also, remember to take your napkins and other utensils - they didn't put any in my bag and I found out later. My partner and I came here looking for burgers and ac. It's really nice inside, very clean and spacious. Babe got a cheeseburger with jalapenos, I got a Turkey cheese burger with grilled onions. We shared the yogurt choco coffee shake with oreos. Everything was delicious. It's rare these days to find turkey burgers freshly made and not from patties but you can get it here. Yo-Burger has become our 4 year old daughter's favorite restaurant, most especially for the froyo she can get afterwards, but also for the hotdogs and burgers she enjoys first. I also appreciate that they offer a Beyond Burger for vegetarians. One tip: order as many toppings as you might possibly want for your burger, but know that they only have American Cheese if you go for a cheeseburger. Good beer and cider on tap and smart that the self-serve frozen yogurt toppings are all pre-packed into cups so you can grab a few and weigh it easily without contaminating anyone else's toppings. They have Fro-Yo! I stopped into this location with my little cousin for a sweet treat. I did not get to try the food as we were not hungry but I will say their burgers and fries smelled delicious. Yay! Yo-burger opened today! Yes, I have nothing better to do than wait for new restaurants to open in my neighborhood. Just kidding! Happened to be picking up my laundry from next door and realized that Yo-burger had indeed opened. I quickly realized that just like having no desire to do my own laundry, I had no desire to cook my own dinner. So into Yo-burger I went. They actually just opened today, something I found out from the very helpful and pleasant cashier. Got a single cheeseburger (4.45) and fries (2.50) (see picture). Many of the toppings are free, including the lettuce, tomato, and ketchup that I ordered on mine. They handed over one of those buzzy things that make me nervous, and I went to have a seat. PLENTY of seating. Hallelujah! Someone has finally gotten it right. Plenty of tables and chairs, and lots of bar-style seating against the wall and window as well. Chairs and stools are in cool, funky colors (see pictures). The food: pretty good. Fries were yummy. Definitely not a gourmet burger, but good for the price. A guy kept coming around and asking how everyone's food was, definitely a nice touch. Oh, and it's the same owners as Salvatore's right down the street. Naturally, after scarfing a burger, I had to test out the other half of the yo-burger name. If you hadn't guessed it yet, here it is: the "yo" stands for the fact that they have self-serve frozen yogurt with toppings! Both nonfat and lowfat options, I went for dutch chocolate and vanilla with peanut butter cups, cookie dough, chocolate sprinkles and Godiva chocolate syrup (see picture). I happened to be around the area and noticed this place. I ordered the single cheeseburger with bacon, fresh onions, lettuce and tomato and the regular fries. I waited close to 10 minutes for my food, that might be along time for some. The presentation was amazing. The burger looked like it came out of shake shack. Simply beautiful. The taste matched how it looked. The Angus beef and all the extras just melted in my mouth like a great burger should. The fries were amazing. Crispy and golden brown, not soggy at all.
