Relatively new addition to the neighborhood, this place was clean and cute on the inside and the servers were very nice! I ordered the strawberry crepe which came with strawberries and nutella inside and dusted with powdered sugar and either chocolate or more nutella drizzled on the ouside. I really enjoyed the amount of toppings that were included. It felt like a decent amount of chopped strawberries and it was oozing nutella! It is a perfect late afternoon sweet treat! read more

Do not waste your time ordering from here. Food arrived 2 hours late and was cold (I live 5 min away but could not order pick up today). Received an email, not a call, shortly after ordering, letting me know that the omelette was removed from the order. Called to see if I could replace it but they said their griddle is broken so they can't make omelettes or bagels. Yet they can still make pancakes and crepes? When food did not arrive for 2 hours I tried calling again, multiple times, but they took their phone off the hook and I was not able to get through. When order finally arrived my vanilla latte was a milkless coffee with sugar and the food is cold and tasteless. They must microwave frozen pancakes. Would give zero stars if I could. read more

Went a few weeks back for their soft launch. The interior is really modern and nice. Plenty of seating for everyone, including window bar-style seating. The staff there is really nice. They have homemade desserts in the fridge and on display at the order counter. I ordered the Strawberry Shortcake crepe. It was on the thicker side, a little thinner than a normal pancake. Plenty of white and milk chocolate sauce and crunchies on top. I just wish there were more strawberry slices inside. The ones inside were likely soaked in a syrup, but I would actually suggest using fresh undoctored strawberries and bumping up the quantity considerably. I think that would add a burst of refreshment amid the sweet taste throughout. I also thought the amount of cake pieces inside were few -- maybe I just did not notice them, but if so, they weren't very prominent. All in all a fine sweet treat, but a few suggestions here. Glad to have this place in the neighborhood -- looking forward to trying more things! read more

Try harder! I visited a few days ago. As reported the ambiance is very nice - cozy even. This is a great addition to the neighborhood. I ordered a cheese crepe, the sweet offerings are abundant but, I wanted something savory. I was pretty disappointed. The crepe had some cheese sprinkled on top and though the crepe was formed well, the flavor was nonexistent. I asked for salt & ketchup and they had to go across the street to get packets. I couldn't finish it. The place is promising but they need someone who knows how to make a delicious crepe (and really good coffee). Try harder! read more

Place looks very beautiful. Many different options . Crepes , bagels , juices , coffee , and gelato . Service was good and friendly. As for the coffee, I got an iced cortado and they definitely pulled the espresso too long so it wasn't strong how I would like it . Got the kids gelatos . For 4$ for a little scoop I don't think I would get it again. Haven't tried the crepes so would have to go back and give it a try . Place looks great nice amount of seating and friendly staff, but definitely need to work on portion control and get real baristas in there if you calling it lava house, because the coffee wasn't lava. read more

I went here to study for finals with my friends & sat there for so long that they gave us a waffle with ice cream. We had ordered food earlier, which was great, but I thought that was so kind. It also kept us going longer because we were going to he pulling an all nighter for Bio the next day. It was also a great place to get work done while changing the scenery from our dorms. read more

I was excited about this place because it's beautiful and looks clean. I ordered take out, two crepes and I asked for an iced latte and specifically inquired if they had oat milk, the person said yes. So, I ordered an iced latte with oat milk, but instead, I received regular cow's milk. I realized once I almost got home as the cup was also open. I do not use regular milk so I wasted my money. We haven't eating the crepes yet. I hope they are good. read more
