We paid grabbed some ketchup and some seats at an available table as we waited for our buzzer to jump. Then we Enjoyed! Burgers are made to order and fries are hot, crispy and yet fluffy. Burgers and frozen yogurt? Ahh. A work colleague suggested Yo-Burger for lunch. I said YO! I have never heard of Yo-Burger as I have always been engrained and grown accustomed to the standard national chains as McDonald's, Burger King, Wendy's, Checkers, Shake Shack, Five Guys, et al. Yo-Burger is a good experience for me as I can chose free toppings (lettuce, ketchup, tomatoes, mustard, fresh onions, mayonnaise, pickles, BBQ sauce, relish, hot sauce, Jalapeños, sauerkraut, and grilled onions) to customize my burger. I chose single turkey burger with pickles, fresh onions, tomato, lettuce, and ketchup. Unfortunately, there were no ketchup embedded. As a native New Yorker, I always have ketchup in my burger including turkey burger as basic default choice condiment. You can remove me from New York City, but you cannot remove the New York City from within me! I did placed ketchup on my burger found from my workplace's kitchen. The wax paper wrapper is minuscule which barely covers the burger. The protein and especially the toppings were fresh. My turkey patty was not dry and a good portion. I ordered one small regular French fries which was very thick filling as too potatoey, but again no ketchup as a condiment offered. YO! Ketchup is certainly devoid at this business. The French fries portion was also minuscule, but good for me to watch my food intake for weight management. Workday lunch for three (3) people totaled a modest reasonable amount of $28.96 which was beneficial to foot the bill of my budget. As my party of three waited for our order to be fulfilled for takeout, we were provided a pager to inform when the food is ready for pickup. Pagers reminisce me of past dining visits at Olive Garden on a Friday night waiting nearly two hours on end for a table in the foyer area. There is outdoor seating where patrons can watch the scenery of Riverdale Avenue in the Bronx. There are several self-serve frozen yogurt dispenser machines for frozen yogurt which is sold by weight and toppings are available. I only desired my default favorite strawberry syrup as choice topping. Fresh cut strawberry fruit is also available. There are no other frozen yogurt topping that entice me. There is the option of free refill fountain soda drinks, but no thanks for me. Customer service is helpful when placing your order. I can imagine this business being full with patrons waiting for their orders and the staff hustling busy. First comes the burger then the frozen yogurt. read more

I come here at least 2-3 times a year but I wish I was able to come more often! The Turkey cheeseburgers here are always a hit & their fries are always made to perfection! The service is always quick & easy & the restaurant itself is spacious enough for a large crowd & they have outdoor seating for days with nice weather. I came for a heatwave lunch and the outdoor seating was cool and shady. Counter service was very friendly. I thought the burger was fine, it could have been seasoned better but for the price I think it's good! The fries were great, and I had the frozen yogurt too- I really liked the banana flavor but I skipped the toppings because they didn't look very fresh. For a fast food place the burgers are amazing and the options to customize your burger are insane. The only problem is the tight seating in the winter and the parking. I'm not one to usually complain about that but now that I'm handicapped I have to sit inside cause the outside tables in the summer don't have backings on them and I can't sit there. Forever my favorite burger place. I ate my first burger here when I was about 13 and it's been my favorite burger spot since. I even went vegan 4 years ago and their veggie burger is an even better burger. They're so well seasoned, although a bit too salty, that I felt perfectly fine eating the fries w/o ketchup, which is rare. The fries were perfectly crispy as well. The froyo is good. I got the blueberries & Cream have the Strawberry. However, some of the fruit is almost spoiled. The raspberries were all so mushy that I didn't get any even tho I really wanted raspberries.
