Parking was a little different since we parked across the street, but it was free, which was a nice surprise. The restrooms were clean, there were snacks and drinks available, and since we weren't sure what to expect, we ate beforehand. The real magic was watching all four of my kids, ages 4 to 12, find something they genuinely loved. That doesn't happen everywhere! From arts and crafts to climbing, sliding, exploring, and creating, there was something for every personality and energy level. No one was bored. Not even for a minute. As a mom, I appreciated the clean environment, family friendly atmosphere, and free Wi-Fi. As a M.O.M.=maker of memories maker, I loved seeing my kids laugh, play, and discover new things together. If you're looking for a place where kids can burn energy, spark creativity, and make memories, Spark is absolutely worth the visit. We'll definitely be back!

One of the biggest draws for our family is the variety of offerings, especially the weekday homeschool classes, day camps, and parent night out events. Since the change in ownership, I couldn't be more pleased with the direction of the program under Mrs. Chris. My son genuinely looks forward to each class and continues to grow stronger and more confident every week. Mrs. Chris and her staff are incredibly skilled with children and provide exceptional coaching in a positive, encouraging environment. I truly appreciate the thoughtful structure of the program, from the engaging exercises and skill development to the excellent communication and organization for parents. The skills tracker is a fantastic tool that keeps parents informed while allowing the kids to celebrate their progress, and the app makes everything even more convenient. The pricing is very fair, and we couldn't be happier with our experience.

We come back down to Hurst every summer just for him to be able to take classes for a week. All of the instructors are patient, kind and caring. They want every child to do their best and be proud of their work. I love to go in a few minutes early for pickup just to hear the instructors working and encouraging the kids. The instructors are always positive and upbeat. I have not met one student or a parent of a student to ever say a bad word about Art Castle and the teachers. Your children are in excellent hands and will come out with a great experience and love of Art.

I have zero interest in sending my child here again. We were really excited for this camp this past…read moresummer, but unfortunately our child didn't have a very good experience. The first thing I noticed at this camp is that there are A LOT of kids attending each week. It seems as though all the counselors were either teenagers or college students.... Basically, kids watching kids. The parking lot for drop off and pick-up is extremely small and tight, so be prepared. My one star rating is based solely on the lack of urgency or desire for camp staff to address issues. As far as our experience went, there were a lot of problems within the small group that weren't addressed by the camp... the main concern being bullying. I reached out to the lead counselor in charge of the group to address my concerns, and was told that "there are several problem kids in the group. Because there are only two of them they can't see everything going on." I also reached out to the Executive Director, Courtney "Pearl" Kaiser through email to address my concerns on 6/21/24, and almost four months later I'm still waiting for a response. If you decide to send your child here, I would recommend sending them with a friend, and place them in the same group. This will make their summer camp experience much more enjoyable.

They gave me their email and online contact information to set up classes in the future ... though if we do we may just go in on a day I know they are open and am in the general area taking my daughter to the museum or zoo. The class we had was the fullest I have seen it before so I'm guessing they are growing. Again the staff at the place is wonderful and willing to work with you ... for me its just a bit out of the way, classes for my daughters age group are not conducive to our schedules, (3:45 Tuesday which is hard for us to get too after work and school & Saturday at 945 which fills up fast) and my daughter gets a little wiggle worm tword the end of class ... so we'll continue just doing classes once every blue moon ... I really wish their cooking school in our area was still open because it was right by my daughters school.
