    Lots of climbing areas!
    Mari B.

This is where play and art meet! Such a fun, creative space! Greeted when we walked in by this super nice person who explained everything! There was an art installation (similar or part of Meow) and so much fun to take a look at this vibrant and funky art. For Insta people, lots of fun photo opportunities! There is a giant steel structure/installation that has lots of space to climb in, slide through and explore. So much to see and we spent a good 60 mins of play there. Make sure to check the corners ( you're allowed to go in) so you don't miss anything. We almost missed an area. Also there is some areas to do some art as well. We didn't stop to do it but it's there. One slide can be intense, so probably not for small kiddos. Probably good for kids 7 and above (6 if they are courageous) just because of the climbing structure areas and bars width. Parents with young children should follow, they literally can land up somewhere else and some areas they do need to climb up and might need help. Definetly wear sneakers. I wore the wrong shoes and couldn't go into certain areas. Great concept and fun!

This place is awesome--I can't believe I've never heard of it before. It is super bizarre and lots of fun. Spark is basically an open, warehouse-like space. One room is decorated with bright mosaics and colorful light fixtures, and there are several tables for art projects and parties. Another room houses a multi-story enclosed playground made entirely of upcycled material (aka trash). There is, inexplicably, a third room decorated like an abandoned space ship. It is all so much fun. The playground area is amazing. I've never seen anything like it. It's like a crazy post-apocalyptic maze sculpted from car bumpers and wire. There are so many unexpected touches, like tunnels that go to other rooms, a Pink Panther display, and the massive metal slide that you can only access by crawling through a net. The whole room is full of weird, creative tchotchkes. My son also loves the giant blocks and giant Lite Brite. Agree with the website and other reviewers that Spark is best for kids aged about 7 and up. Durable clothes are a must (no leggings or athletic pants - suggest cotton and denim). Reasonably priced at $10/person with no time limit, not crowded, free parking right outside. Highly recommend! I'm shocked this place isn't packed every Saturday but also love the privacy and free run of the space!!

This way to an extremely fun and creative adventure!

This summer I tried something new and enrolled my 7 year old son in a different camp EVERY week. It took a lot of effort, but I wanted him to get as many different experiences as his little developing brain could absorb. This was not an easy task. During my research, I stumbled across this little Dallas gem...SPARK! and he couldn't have been more pleased with his experience. So much so...that he asked to come back for one more week of camp! The staff and volunteers at SPARK! are so friendly and embrace creativity from all ages! The play area they created for kids is an experience like no other. I do recommend, however that the experience would be more enjoyable for kids starting around 6 as the structure requires some climbing experience. However, they offer fun creative craft activities (made from recycled material) if you having younger children. It really is a win for the whole family! It's not just a place for summer camps. You can visit for a single day experience (but your kids WILL be asking to go back)! Skip a trip to Chuck E. Cheese, and take your family on a truly unforgettable trip to SPARK!

Spark is amazing for kids and adults! We love to visit on the weekends or school holidays, especially if it is cold outside. They have so many creative areas for kids such as a huge lite bright, a net bridge, a ship and a slide almost 2 stories high. It is a ton of fun and a bargain for only $10 for kids and $5 for adults. They also offer birthday parties on weekends. It's located in the Southside on Lamar building and the parking is easy to access and free.

What an awesome deal. During 2020 COVID hell, this was the happiest day we've had in ... a while…read more I saw All About Animals somewhat randomly on Groupon, and it piqued my interest immediately. We'd been trying to figure out what to do for both kids' birthdays this summer with the no-normal-parties bummer going on. Maybe we could do a masked-up animal show n tell on the back patio...? So I called Cindi (owner of All About Animals) after reading up on her website. She was generally doing online only stuff and was NOT doing birthday parties. I totally understood, I said - we weren't about to have a bunch of kids over right now. But would she do a "private" show n tell for just our 4-person family? She would. Score! Outdoors is too hot for some of the animals during the Texas summer, so we set up inside, with a table for her and 4 chairs facing the table, about 8-10' away. The agreement was she'd be masked up the entire time and so would we. She also left her shoes at the door, which we didn't even ask her to do. The kids loved it. We loved it. It was... just perfect. We picked 10 critters and geared it towards ones we could touch and often hold. The pictures don't show all 10, but dude... it was just awesome. Fun AND highly educational. If you're an animal person AND can be safe and respectful during this time, I HIGHLY recommend this. The kids were immediately asking when the next time Ms Cindi could come over again with her animals. Just... awesome!

Overall we all had an amazing time here. I did spend $20 on the Skittles machine, which is expensive but made the kids happy. Check them out!

The package we received $10 in video games (no prize games) and unlimited attractions: golf, rides, laser tag, go carts There were 2 attendants that appeared to be working. One stayed at the cars -it was the most popular-possibly because there was an attendant there so it looked operational. All other attractions we had to go find an attendant and that was quite difficult. Plenty of employees walking around but none working attractions. We finally found one person and she seemed responsible for all of them. So only one ride at a time could be operated. That is ridiculous since we paid for unlimited and only one closed at a time. Pizza was supposed to be ready at 11:45 -we had 1 sorcerer for more than 30 people! Too much for one person. Pizzas were not delivered until 12:10 and only 2 at a time and were served 2 slices at a time by waitress. We then had to wait to get 2 more pizzas. So we spent A LOT of time waiting for rides and food and very little time participating in the activities. Pizza was terrible -think kid pizza. Not one participant asked for seconds. Worse than Main Event pizza It could be improved with staff! And better food
