Love this place. We got the beef shaobing and sat at the bench there. I wish to try the duck shaobing when we come back. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Service is quick and space is small.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Went on a Wednesday morning after Solidcore, so there were only two other parties there[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]].

Food: The noodles are very average here. We tried the Chongqing Noodles and the Zhajiang (meat sauce) Noodles ($10) each. The flavors were good, but there are better noodle places in NYC than this one. The noodle texture wasn't anything special or impressive. It would be nice if the zhajiang noodles came with more meat sauce. Portions are also on the smaller side. Overall, I wasn't impressed. They also offer appetizers and jianbing on the menu. Service: You order your food at the register, and they'll bring it to you at your table. Staff were welcoming and friendly. Ambiance: [[HIGHLIGHT]]The place is small with tables and seating for small groups. I wouldn't come here with a large group.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Overall, I wouldn't recommend this place and likely won't be returning.

A place that serves very simple noodle soups. The price isn't very cheap given how barebones the noodle soup is but nevertheless, it taste good. Service is fast and minimal as to what they do for you. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The location is at a quiet place out out of the semi busy Grand street but a nice place to relax and slowly eat your lunch.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

What a great spot for jianbing or jian bing, a well-loved Chinese savory crepe. Wider filling selection than other spots, with seven different options. Have had Jian Bing elsewhere and this was by far the best--not too much sauce, light-textured egg, crispy fish and fresh vegetables for a great crunch. Must try for jianbing. Sweet and sour lotus root had a great unique flavor, crisp and tangy. Delicious meal all around. Looking forward to returning. Wonderful man and woman there, treating all with kindness.

So delicious. My friend and I went for a very late breakfast. I had the beef jian bing, she tried the pork belly jian bing. We both absolutely loved it. The portion was very generous and the price was very reasonable. We both left with happy bellies lol. Everyone in there was very friendly. The inside is tiny but very clean. It was seriously delicious. I've never tried jian bing before and I definitely want to again.

Tasty jian bing for $8 each. Perfect wrap of crunchy and savory! My friend got the duck bao and also loved it! She said duck was melt in your mouth. Small restaurant, order first and then sit down.

Delicious jian bing and duck bao! I loved how crunchy the jian bing was and it had a good balance of being flavorful without being salty. The duck bao was so soft. Small restaurant, but we didn't have any trouble getting a table. The auntie taking our order was so nice. Highly highly recommend checking out!

very nice jianbing here, i visited specifically to try and i wasn't disappointed. prices are modest too, and it was a decent size serving. definitely lived up to my expectations and then some. they have a pretty extensive menu so their other items would be worth a shot too. [[HIGHLIGHT]]the place was packed when i was leaving around 2pm so it seems like the hype is real![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Yiwanmen is one of my favorite casual noodle restaurants in all of Manhattan Chinatown. Specializing in Sichuan cuisine, its noodles are consistently delicious, with fresh ingredients and vibrant flavors. The establishment is relatively small with a few tables, but clean and large enough to accommodate my daughter in her large stroller when we visited Yiwanmen on a Saturday around noon. Whether for dining in or delivery, my favorite dishes are the fish noodle soup with mala sauce and their signature Chongqing red oil noodle. The noodles are perfectly chewy, broth savory, and portions generously sized. Although their jian bing was very good, I was disappointed to find that the "sausage" was really just hot dog. While hot dogs are ubiquitous as a street snack in China, I was hoping for something less...processed and more akin to Chinese sausage. Even so, Yiwanmen is a staple for us in the noodle genre in Chinatown, especially given the quality and affordability.

Some of the best hand pulled noodles I have ever tried! I ordered the Chong Qing Red Oil Noodles and it was the perfect flavor! The service was nice and quick! Everyone was super nice. I will definitely be back!

Delicious and different from what I normally eat. I tried this in a food stand in Columbus circle but this was way better. I'm in the area now and maybe I'll go back for another Roast Duck Jian Bing.

Was with family - in the moment and enjoying so I have no photos, sadly. Their alcohol menu consists of beer and wine. Tsing tao and Sauvignon blanc were our drinks of choice - as they were out of both options of sake. To eat - we had a little of everything - the wonton soup, veggie dumplings, pork soup dumplings, the ribs, braised beef noodles, the eggplant dish and ones of the fish. Everything was absolutely delish and the service was quick. They were also out of the dessert we wanted - the green tea cheesecake but we had the pumpkin dessert which was phenomenal! It came out hot and had red bean paste in the middle! Absolutely delicious. Took off one star because there were a couple of things we requested that were unavailable but aside from that the food was delicious and the service was great! Definitely check them out - there are multi locations in the city!

The restaurant is near my friend's place. The place was exactly what we were looking for... Inexpensive, cozy and comfortable atmosphere! The place was a little busy, and didn't take reservations, but we were seated immediately. Amazing service and delicious food! The food was fresh and came out fast. Portions are generous, so you definitely won't leave hungry. My favorite dish was the Signature Lanzhou Beef Noodle Soup, which was delicious and flavorful, and also gluten free, dairy free and soy free. Others had something else I had no interest in to remember the name. Their menu has many options to offer, including gluten free, soy free, and dairy free options. We would come back again and highly recommend you check out this place if you are in Murray Hill Manhattan. My only complaint was that I noticed a male staff member leave the restroom without flushing the toilet, which took away from an otherwise positive dining experience.

The beef soup is clear and light and the noodles have a delightful texture, with a slight chew and good bounce. There's a good portion of braised beef as well. Tender but a bit fatty for my taste, but given the portion it's not going to kill you. Lamb burger ended up as overkill and will be consumed as leftovers but a quick sampling let me know that it's gamey and fatty with strong notes of cumin. Not a bad thing, but something to note for people that might not generally enjoy lamb or cumin. Black pepper beef rice bowl was solid too. Spice wise, you can calibrate accordingly but I'd recommended at least their regular spice level. Decent amount of tenderized but still chewy beef. Both dishes came with a salad of celery, carrot, cucumber, peanuts and seaweed strips in a light sauce. Couldn't quite figure out the sauce but it was lightly tart and refreshing. Space is clean and modern. Neutral wood, well lit. Service is friendly enough. If you dine in, you order at the kiosk and they'll deliver to your table. We had leftovers that they graciously packed up. Solid choice. I hope they stick around as they do bring a different cuisine to the area.
