Tomato Dry Mixed Tomato And Egg Noodles
    Mary N.

I had the tomato egg noodle, which was super flavorful and the right amount of spicy. The portion is a good size, so plenty of leftovers for the next day. The inside is clean with plenty of tables if you choose to dine in. It's not completely self service - you can order at the iPad, and then a staff member sets up the table you're sitting and brings your food out for you.

Gem of a find on St. Mark's in the East Village! Tiny place, but cool, hip, young vibe. Noodles are great! The broth is the best part. The tomato egg flavor is some of the best in the city. Although the noodles can be a bit soft sometimes - I like them slightly chewier and more on the al dente side - the overall dish features a decent portion and delicious flavors. Came back twice in the span of one week!

Eggs are still rare and expensive, but I've been desperately craving tomato and egg, my all-time favorite chinese household dish. For only $13, I was overjoyed to score a massive bowl of tomato and egg noodle here in St. Marks Place. They have a variety of chinese style noodle soup and dry mixed noodles, all under $13 and in HUGE portion. My friend and I had to share a bowl and pack some leftovers home. *Dry Mixed Tomato & Egg Noodle $12.99*** So homey and comforting. I picked wheat noodle and I preferred it over the typical rice noodle. The noodle held up the sauce really well. The bowl was healthy and flavorful topped with bok choy and cilantro. Will definitely get this again. *Dry Mixed Beef Noodle $12.99** My friend's favorite! The beef shank was cut into cubes. Tender and well marinated. We got rice noodle for this bowl and it was smooth and bouncy. The soy sauce base was bursting with umami flavor. *Pork Crispy Pot-Stickers $9.99 You can pick pork/chicken/vegetarian filling. I poured some housemade chili oil over the pan fried dumpling to spice it up. *Beef Tripe Salad $12.99 Interesting texture! Absolutely loved the sauce base made of garlic, sesame, and chili oil.

This was WAY better than I expected, for $14 you get a big bowl of noodles, way to keep fair prices in NYC. I got the extra spicy beef noodle soup, the beef was not for me but the soup was flavorful, the noodles were dank and it overall felt very nourishing and good. The vibe is small yet cute and service is fast and efficient.

Walked in here when randomly looking for a place to have lunch in the St Mark's area. We were able to easily order from a kiosk which I appreciated as an introvert. We got the Spicy Chicken Rice Noodle Soup and the Beef Rice Noodle Soup, both mild spicy level. After sitting down, the waiter brought us some cutlery but no water surprisingly. The noodles came quickly in steaming large bowls. The chicken was surprisingly flavorful and the marinade withstood the chili oil in the soup. The beef was quite tender and also flavorful. Mild was indeed only a little spicy and the soup wasn't overly salty which I appreciated. This is a great place to get a $13 bowl of noodle soup in the NYU area.

I'm a fan of the portion size provided at the price point. I ordered the dry mix noodle, but found that the flavor was lacking outside of a general spice taste. The chili oil was quite overpowering and erased any other seasonings in the bowl. I asked for a ladle of soup, and the worker gave me one free of charge.

Great place for quick and valued noodles. Noodles are around $12 and they give generous portions! Super yummy. The spicy chili wontons and were def my fav. The noodles were a perfect texture and super flavorful. Would come back. Great and quick service.

Beef Tripe Rice Noodle Soup. Very salty

I was walking by Loong Noodle and it smelled so good and spicy that I made a stop. It was 10 degrees out and I wanted to warm up with a hot spicy soup. I ordered a beef tripe noodle soup at the menu station. You can choose spice level (I got mild) and either rice noodle or noodle. I don't know what the other secret noodle is but I know it's not made from rice. The soup was a let down. There wasn't a lot of noodles and it seemed like they made whatever leftovers at the bottom of the bag since there were a ton of broken pieces. They were generous with the tripe though. It was extremely seasoned and reminded me of a tripe salad, maybe it's that but warmed up. The broth was flat and extremely salty. I didn't finish it even though that's the reason I came in - to warm up with soup from the freezing cold. My lips were vibrating after. It's the numbing effect from the pepper, although I will say it was more intense than I've ever had it before. It lasted probably around 5min. The decor is very minimal and modern. I was sitting at the round side table along the window and it's so small I can't imagine two people being able to fit their food on it. What I do love is that they clean right after the customer leaves so you sit at a clean and shiny surface.

My family thoroughly enjoyed our experience at Loong Noodle. Amidst the stiff competition of Chinese eateries on St. Mark's Place, Loong really nailed it. We quickly ordered at the kiosk three noodles: the lamb noodle soup, dry egg and tomato noodles, and the dry wan za noodles. We weren't sure what to expect with the last one, but it was a delicious mixture of ground pork and yellow mung beans with bok choy. All three dishes were excellent, with chewy noodles and flavorful and fresh ingredients. While we kept the tomato and egg noodle dish free of spicy chiles for our kids, the lamb noodle soup and wan za were delicious with the requested mild spice level. The prices at $12.99 for each bowl was also very reasonable given the quantity and quality. The interior was modern and clean, with a good number of tables indoors. Service was quick, friendly, and efficient, which were of course much appreciated with hungry kids in tow. In fact, the staff was very accommodating of our kids, suggesting an optimal table and providing toddler-friendly plates, cups, and utensils. Definitely worth revisiting when we are in the area and seeking an inexpensive casual lunch option.

Staffs were friendly. You ordered the food via the kiosk. We dined in, you can order the food to go as well. There are two tables in the middle and you can sit by the counter or the window. Ordered beef rice noodle, dry mixed beef rice noodle ($12.99 per bowl), wontons ($9.99) and Wong Lo Kat (which is $2 each). Ordered the noodles not spicy however, they use chili oil which ended up being spicy. Price was reasonable, food was spicy, not much seating for a large party. Food: 3/5 Service: 3/5 Ambience: 3/5

Place was bumping on a Friday evening! It's located on St Marks, along a stretch of many other restaurants (with a lot of Asian food)! I came in a group of four, and we managed to share a table. It is a bit small inside and there's limited outdoor seating, so larger groups may need to a wait a beat to get seated. Takeout also seemed like a popular option. It's nice and bright inside with neon lights decorating the ceiling and walls. The food was also good! We each got a bowl of noodles and shared some dumplings and the potato salad. I think the best noodle dish is probably the dry beef noodle with regular (and not rice) noodles and thought it was really flavorful. I personally got the soupy beef with rice noodles, which was good but I felt like the flavors didn't stick onto the noodles as well. The serving sizes are HUGE so come hungry, and is great value for the price. The dumplings were also very flavorful and perfectly grilled. I also LOVED the potato salad flavors and sauces but was disappointed that it was $10, which felt a bit steep for this usual side. Service was excellent, and I think you could tell it was a family owned business. Very friendly and quick. Would come back again!

This was probably one of the blandest things I've ever had :-( The restaurant was cute, very modern, very bright. The food came really quickly after ordering which was good! The staff also immediately gave us utensils and napkins which was also good. The downfall was when we actually got the food. I know it's a dry noodle, but there was for real nothing in it other than what's pictured. I'm not sure if we got a bad batch or something, but the other people in the restaurant who ordered something similar also had confused looks on their faces. There are definitely better places in the area, on the same street even. Would not come back.

Go try this new place on St. Mark's! They have HUGE bowls of noodles for an amazing price, considering it's Manhattan. I had the Spicy Chicken Cold Noodle, and I loved it. It's perfect for hot summer weather, with a refreshing spice (you can customize the spice level), cucumbers, peanuts, and very tender chicken. I definitely want to come back to try the soup noodles! The staff was so friendly, and the food came extremely fast. They also gave us a complimentary cucumber appetizer because it was their grand opening. I love the bright neon pink decorations and the casual yet chic vibe of the restaurant. Overall I definitely recommend.

The beef soup is clear and light and the noodles have a delightful texture, with a slight chew and good bounce. There's a good portion of braised beef as well. Tender but a bit fatty for my taste, but given the portion it's not going to kill you. Lamb burger ended up as overkill and will be consumed as leftovers but a quick sampling let me know that it's gamey and fatty with strong notes of cumin. Not a bad thing, but something to note for people that might not generally enjoy lamb or cumin. Black pepper beef rice bowl was solid too. Spice wise, you can calibrate accordingly but I'd recommended at least their regular spice level. Decent amount of tenderized but still chewy beef. Both dishes came with a salad of celery, carrot, cucumber, peanuts and seaweed strips in a light sauce. Couldn't quite figure out the sauce but it was lightly tart and refreshing. Space is clean and modern. Neutral wood, well lit. Service is friendly enough. If you dine in, you order at the kiosk and they'll deliver to your table. I was too full from my spectacular Ahi Tuna Poke Bowl to try the Korean bbq Chicken Wings ($8.95) but, I will definitely be back to try them!! I'll post menu photos so you have an idea of the delicious food choices. (April 2026) My very first delicious bite of Ahi Tuna had a heavenly garlic flavor, it was wonderful, and the sweet green seaweed with rice only added to the wonderfulness. Vertical slices of cucumber, onion and scallion, also add deliciously to my wonderful Poke Bowl. Toasted sesame seeds, too. SIMPLY MARVELOUS!!! Remember to be sure to mix the poke bowl rice as you eat, so that you mix the rice with the yummy sauce that may accumulate at the bottom of the poke bowl. I usually eat a little while, THEN, mix the rice. This was so good, I had to eat, eat, eat, before I could stop to mix. LOL. That sweet green seaweed was so yummy!! A lovely mix of flavors...the garlic, the sweetness....I LOVED IT ALL SO MUCH!!!! When was the last time you enjoyed a dish so very much that you felt like standing up in the restaurant and telling everyone: THIS IS SOOO DELICIOUS!!!! Well, I felt like that, but I didn't stand up and tell everyone, but I did tell the manager, who happen to come to the table to ask how everything was. And I let him know how much I was enjoying the Ahi Tuna Poke Bowl. He explained why and how the tuna was so flavorful. We had a delightful brief foodie chat. What a joy!! The service is very nice here. I like the atmosphere too. And the music, which is cool; it does not interfere with thinking, or having a conversation. I really like it here . The women's rest room was very nice, and clean, with a Dyson Hand Dryer, so no paper towels on the floor. Yay! Helping our environment, too!! And I like the black and white wall paper, too. See my photos My last visit I enjoyed the Pad Thai, and the same non-alcoholic beverage, " Asian Mint Limeade", from the MINDFUL DRINKS area on the beverage menu. ($9.50) (April 2026). A nice treat! It does have a light carbonation (bubbles). This visit my delicious meal was from the BOWLS SECTION of the food menu, it was the AHI TUNA POKE BOWL ($17.95) (April 2026) With warm, and hot weather on the way, I know I will be enjoying this AHI TUNA POKE BOWL again...and again! If you love good food, good service, and a very cool environment, put this location of WAGAMAMA on your list ! (East side) LOCATED On THIRD AVE, at East 39th Street. There is OUTDOOR SEATING, too, with red umbrellas. See my photos. Enjoy yourself here. Totally delightful. There are several locations in Manhattan. I did not know that. So, the one I have dined at is ON THIRD AVENUE, at EAST 39th Street. Look for the Red Umbrellas outside, at the corner of East 39th Street and Third Avenue. Enjoy!!!

We were guided toward the back, past white marble tables with beautiful mustard colored velvet chairs to the long countertop facing the open kitchen. We scanned QR codes to pull up the menu, and despite no omakase noodle offerings to be found, decided to stay because the menu options they did have sounded too good to pass up. Of course they had classic shio and miso ramens, but they also had a duck tsukumen, a red snapper ramen, a black truffle ramen, and the dish I set my sights on-- the uni mazemen. There were also lots of appetizers and a long list of high end onigiri featuring proteins like scallop lemon shio, A5 wagyu ponzu, and bluefin chutoro on offer. This place was the real deal. Our group shared the tebasaki wings-- so crispy and so flavorful, I could have inhaled a whole plate of these. The salmon, ikura, and apple appetizer that was served in a glass chalice was superb but even better was the bluefin tuna avocado sashimi with wasabi. That one was a winner across the board. And then my uni mazemen, which really stole the show. There was a very generous portion of uni that mixed with the savory sauce and al dente ramen noodles perfectly. This dish was rich, unctuous, and fresh and definitely delivered in value, though it was double the price of most other noodle bowls. Uni is a delicacy. Having just returned from a second trip to Japan I can say this place is really as good as any restaurant I visited in Japan, and it's right here in Murray Hill. These Murray Hill bros are lucky.

For entrees the husband ordered the Eight Delicacies in Chili Sauce and I got the Soft Shell Crab with Rice Cake. Pro tip- their appetizers and entrees are hefty, with two apps and two entrees we were stuffed at the end. The food! The pigs ears were our favorite thing we tried- they well seasoned and so unique I've never had anything quite like it. We didn't read the menu carefully and were surprised it was a cold dish- I imagined the crispy was from being fried but it's just the texture of the cartilage! It's probably not for everyone but I really enjoyed the new experience and the flavor and spice were great. The crispy eels were also tasty, though with such a large portion split between just two people I found the sweetness of the sauce a bit much. I started dipping them in the chili oil from the ears and enjoyed that, but I'd still only get the eel again with more than 2 people to split it. For entrees the 8 delicacies was tasty, all the meat was nicely cooked and tender, and the sauce was pleasant. I wasn't super wowed by this dish compared to some of the more interesting things we tried but it was a solid well-cooked entree. The fried soft shell crab over the rice cakes was delicious and again a very unique experience. I found the sauce a tad sweet but I think I was still a little over the eel dish so I may have been extra sensitive. That being said, it was fun and delicious and I'd eat it again! I can't remember the cocktails we bought, I know they were good but the food definitely distracted us! Little Alley was great overall and I'd love to go back to try some dumplings; sadly we were just too full at the end of the meal!
