It was a self-serving pizza restaurant. There were lots of seats. I went there at 6:30pm. The…read morerestaurant was almost full. I called to ask if they allowed big dogs inside the restaurant. The person who answered the phone said they had a special area for people with dogs. So we decided to eat here but they said no when we got there. But they let us eat inside with my dog next to the entrance. That was nice. Outside was very cold. Pizza was good. We had the works pizza. It was NY style, I think. There were good amounts of toppings. The chaser salad was ok. We tried Grand Canyon beers. The restroom was clean. If you come during busy times, like we are,, the line to order food could be long. We waited for 15 - 20 minutes to order and waited for another 10 - 15 minutes to get food.

Unfortunately, I was disappointed with my experience at We Cook Pizza and Pasta…read more The food was average overall -- about 3 stars. The Fettuccine Alfredo was actually good and was the best dish we tried. However, the spaghetti with meatballs and the pizza were just okay and nothing special. The biggest issue was the service. The staff seemed uninterested and not very welcoming, and the tables were not properly cleaned. What was even more surprising was that they did not have regular water or hot water available at all -- only sweet drinks. The overall level of service and cleanliness really affected the experience. Based on my visit, I would not recommend this restaurant.

Don't know why this is rated so low. Went on a packed Wednesday night without a reservation. They…read moregot us in service was super friendly and fast and the food was dynamite! You get what you pay for, some people have expectations that are goofy if they have to pull out an extra $20. Had the muscles and the Santa Fe Cesar was delicious and couldn't miss on the ribeye! Perfectly medium rare. Well worth coming in for. After a long day of hiking in the canyon.

Very uncomfortable experience and, frankly, one of the strangest ways we've ever been turned away…read moreby a restaurant. When we first arrived, we were told by Antonio at the reception that it was a slow night and that we didn't need a reservation. We decided to come back about 30 minutes later. When we returned, the same person suddenly told us that all of the empty tables were already accounted for and that they "don't usually serve parties of more than five." We politely asked if tables could be moved together since there were clearly plenty of empty tables. That's when things became even more ridiculous. We were told that, for "safety reasons," moving the tables would result in a $10,000 fee. We were then directed toward other restaurants that were supposedly more "economic" and "reasonable." We found that comment particularly unnecessary and condescending. If a restaurant chooses not to accommodate a larger party, that's understandable, but there are much more professional and respectful ways to communicate that to customers. This whole interaction felt unnecessarily rude and unwelcoming. We come from Las Vegas and understand how restaurants are supposed to treat their customers with basic courtsey.
