What a wonderful surprise! After reading past reviews I was hesitant to eat here. After a couple nights in a nearby campground we decided to try it anyway. Our waiter was AMAZING! The food was delicious and the margaritas were spectacular! We had steaks and they were so tender and flavorsome. Prices were slightly less than others in Tusayan. Do not hesitate to go here! You will have a great meal!!! read more

I came here over 4th of July weekend with my wife and son. We decided to stop by and grab something to eat. The food was good, the service was really nice and fast, and I liked the overall look and feel of the place. We sat outside, which ended up being a great choice because we were able to see the drone show they had for the 4th of July weekend. That definitely made the experience better. As far as the food, it was honestly just okay. Nothing too crazy or memorable, especially for the price. It is a little expensive, but I understand it is a tourist spot. Still, for what you pay, I feel like the food could be a little better. Overall, I had a good experience and would probably stop by again to try something different from the menu. read more

Hands down the worst dining experience of my life. You're better off cooking the roadkill that you will find all over this highway. Please drive over to the local gas station and buy a 13hr cooked hotdog over this "food". I use air quote because I can't find words to explain what this was. I ordered the cowboy steak. It was more like cowboy horse saddle that's been over cooked with no seasoning. We had a party of 14 and every hated their meal. Oh and let's not forget that add the tip to everyone bill no matter the size of your party! Please DO NOT come here! read more

Not many people here but the steaks were solid. We got the T bone and cowboy 12oz too read more

Hey chef! Read the reviews. And maybe develop standards.... But self absorbed guys like you think your crap does not stink. Here is my review. This was the absolute worst experience in a restaurant I've ever had. The bar had saddles for horses as bar stools. Should have been my first clue. I took a regular seat. I ordered a sirloin steak with corn on the cob and cowboy beens. The corn was mushy. The server admitted that it was previously frozen. Then the steak was not cooked to order and it was without seasoning besides some bland sauce they cook it in. The chef heard I did not like the food and told me that steak was not frozen. I said it was without taste. It was dry as well. Which means it was likely frozen. He argued and I said to him have you tasted your food? Then he called me a name in Spanish. If I owned this place I'd fire him and remove the saddles. Soo awful. read more

Absolute tourist trap and dishonest practices. I ordered a steak extra-rare, and it was served medium (completely cooked through). The kitchen acknowledged their massive cooking mistake and brought a replacement. However, the management forced me to pay for BOTH steaks on the bill! Using a 'menu policy' to shift the financial burden of a chef's mistake onto the customer is unacceptable commercial misconduct. Unprofessional, unethical, and terrible customer service. Avoid this place at all costs when visiting the Grand Canyon. read more

Went after the Grand Canyon, around 3pm they got us in a group of 7. The waiter was nice. The food was just fine We got two burgers the steakhouse salad and the tortilla salad everything seemed fresh and crisp and good. Nothing too crazy good but good and price was fine. The steaks seemed a little pricey so we didn't get any. read more

Should've known by the empty parking lot. Bland food, no ranch dressing, brought a dinner salad with Italian which was the nastiest I've ever eaten. Asked for crackers to eat with it , no crackers , no sweet tea. Burgers taste like they were pre made from local grocery store. Benches they have to sit on are like sitting on rocks ! Literally! Awful awful experience! read more

Horrible food and service Wish I had checked Restaurant was empty for a reason They included $10tip for two people, a surcharge and tax!!! read more

Absolutely fantastic! After a long day of driving, hiking and eating on the go, this place checked all the boxes. Cute rustic decor, friendly service that got everything right the first time. But the best part was the food! Steaks were well seasoned and correctly cooked. Loved the baked beans, corn on the cob, and baked potato with every entree. We also had the nachos. Kids meals were generous. Overall my family of 5 loved it! read more

Service was good and portions were huge! I ordered a side salad and it was big enough for 2 people. The steak was served with beans, baked potato and corn on the cob. Pretty good deal. Service was good and attentive. They added a tip to the bill and another 3% fee. We would have tipped more than the 18% but when we realized they did this, we didn't leave an additional tip. Didn't like that was slipped in without telling us.... there was only 2 of us so it wasn't like a big party and that was not indicated anywhere on the menu. read more

It's okay if you are cool with bland food. Very bland food. Culturally insensitive decor, and the service was just less than okay. Tables stained, menus dirty. read more

ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE! It seems that they put all there effort into the decoration and NONE into the cooking. It quite literally just tastes like cafeteria food , the steak is horrendous and it's literally a steak house! Like wtf?!? And they have the nerve to charge it for damn near 50 dollars. They also somehow managed to fuck up my Shirley temple which is just sanity and don't even get me started on the service I should have just gotten the McDonald's down the block, it was totally empty to AND THE POWER KEPT GOING OUT SO THIS TERRIBLE FOOD TOOK FOREVER TO COOK!! I have never had nastier food in my life. TOURIST TRAP! read more

Ordered two burgers, one beer and a soda; tab was $59.23. Pretty steep for what my wife called "cafeteria food" and I think she was generous. Asked for no pink on the burgers, the outside was charcoal-ly, but the insides were very pink. Mayonnaise came in a squeeze packet and the ketchup bottle looked like a 5 year old used it last (months ago) and was never cleaned. I was going to order a steak; glad I did not. Wendy's would have been better, and way less expensive. read more

Didn't listen to the yelp reviews and I should've. Gave it a chance and ended up paying 97 dollars for dog food. Wish I could give this place no stars. Steaks weren't cleaned or hot. Everything was definitely frozen, reheated, and not fresh. It came out in 5 minutes. The salad was lettuce with dry old onions. Told the server and she was like I can give you ten percent off. Service was awful too. Asked for a manager or the owner and no one was in. I repeat DO NOT eat here. Ambiance was depressing and locals clearly won't eat here. Worst meal i've ever had in my life. read more

My wife and I walked over from the nearby campground and were delighted by the food quality. We had a ribeye which came with baked potato, camp style beans and corn on the cobb. The steak was high quality and expertly cooked. The service was good and the only sub par item was the overcooked corn. We will return. read more

Overpriced, and low quality food. Tourist trap that probably rests on its close proximity to the Grand Canyon. On the positive side, Wait staff was friendly. read more

Terrible. Just terrible. I think cafeteria food might be even better than the food we were served here. The food at my college dorm is 10 times better than this. read more

I don't know what these people were saying I had an amazing experience it felt like I was 5 again eating at my grandmothers house for thanksgiving dinner. They had excellent hospitality and were very kind towards me and my family if I didn't live 1800 miles away I would absolutely come here again! read more

Went there this weekend and the doors are chained shut. I think it's closed permanently

The ambiance is typical western steakhouse with black and white cow spot tablecloths and heavy wooden furnishings with saddles, etc. around. We were there around 5:30 so it wasn't packed, yet the service was slow and the waitress wasn't attentive. I ordered the BBQ chicken - mistake; it was boneless breast flattened/pounded very thin and very overcooked then slathered with a SWEET sauce. The corn on the cob was mushy and the cowboy beans were bland. My husband and grandson got steak, sirloin and filet ... neither of them finished it. Best thing on the table was the basket of biscuits and cornbread which cost $12. Would not go there again. read more

Over priced food with no flavor poor service another place that takes advantage of tourism go to Wendy's

The food was not good. the service was so bad. they took our order and we never saw them again. went to the counter to pay and gratuity was already included. they should be ashamed. don't go! read more

What a gem! Clean, ambiance, friendly! The food, AMAZING! Ribs are so smoky, sweet and tender. Perfect baked potato. Yummy Beatake me back to my childhood. Sweet corn bread is delicious! read more

Food was kind of gross. Service was really slow despite being there around 3pm. Would be better off going down the street to McDonalds.

They reviews are a bit mid leading, even being understaffed they were extremely nice and the food was good overall. Good atmosphere and everyone was nice. read more

I love a good steakhouse. Unfortunately, this place doesn't qualify. The food was beyond abysmal. The servers were friendly, but slow and not terribly attentive. Fortunately, it was expensive so it had at least one resemblance to a quality establishment. Go to McDonald's. You'll get a better meal for a fraction of the price. read more

Great food at a great price! After a full day of hiking, we were hungry -- and this place did not disappoint. The portions were generous, the food was delicious, and the prices were very reasonable. Victor took great care of us and made the experience even better with his kind and helpful service. Highly recommend! read more

Yippee-ei-o! - The restaurant. - Steakhouses Near Me - Tusayan, Arizona

Yippee-Ei-O! How bout Yippee-Ei-NO! At the cost of a fine steak house I was expecting much much more. I ordered a T Bone for $50 dollars and honestly it was a decent piece of meat. But the baked potato it came with was bleh l, the salad consisted of old lettuce and doused in ranch to cover for it and the corn was just cheap bag corn boiled in water. On top of the disappointing food, my waiter was extremely rude and uninviting. The cheap looking cow decor was not my cup of tea. All in all, you'd be better off waiting to get a steak elsewhere. Maybe try El Tovar in Grand Canyon village instead. read more

Food was ok-lacked seasoning on the steaks for sure. They didn't get a single temp right, which is annoying because you expect a steakhouse to know how to cook steaks (all over cooked by at least one level) Lots of food/pricing average (better than we expected for their captive audience) 15% gratuity added automatically no matter what your party size...this could be a win for the restaurant, but when a restaurant does this, we generally do not add additional gratuity because we find it annoying-a tip is a choice for the customer-and we usually tip more than 15%. Server was attentive, but a little pushy when someone wasn't ordering fast enough and was convinced he knew more about our food preferences than we did. It's super-close proximity to the Grand Canyon is probably why it's busy and we absolutely bought in because we were hungry. It was alright. read more

My family and I came to eat steak after sightseeing over the Grand Canyon. Yippee-ei-o! - This is unacceptable - Steakhouses Near Me - Tusayan, Arizona

There really isn't much to choose from around these parts so I didn't have high expectations. The steak was not terrible. I would expect a better backed potato with a $40 steak. What killed it was the restaurant was freezing cold. The wait staff barely smiled. To top it off we were sitting on benches our entire meal and at some point my rear end went totally numb to match my already numb toes from the cold. Lunch for two with a couple of Pepsis cost us $114. It's not comfortable but if you're in need of some protein it will do. read more

Wish I'd had enough cell reception for yelp to load and show me the 1.9 rating, now I know why it was dead inside despite prime real estate. I will say my sons kids menu steak was good. Waiter seemed annoyed I only ordered a cheeseburger, which was very meh. Fat fries were mushy, beans gross. But the part that really pissed me off was being shown a hand written bill w $43 subtotal and then he comes back w credit card receipt for $51. I asked for the itemized bill and told me they couldn't give it to me, and when I demanded to see it and take a pic, they'd helped themselves to a $6 tip, while never mentioning it and presenting me w slip to sign for even more tip.
