First, I'd like to say that this place is overpriced. I went here after visiting the Grand Canyon with my girlfriend and her mother. The food at this place was pretty good, but I was extremely disappointed with the service here. The moment I entered the restaurant, I was met with an employee that seemed unhappy and very unwelcoming. She seated us and after that came back to be our waitress. The entire time she waited on us, she was still unwelcoming. After ordering and eating, things seemed to be going okay until I asked for our check. After asking for it, we waited for nearly 20 minutes sitting on our phones. Finally after many employees walked by us without giving us any looks, I got up and went to the kitchen entrance to ask where our bill was. They said they'd be right there, so I sat back down. The check finally came and on the check showed a total that was more than what I ordered. After taking a closer look, I realized that there is a REQUIRED 15% tip I must pay. I got up and asked my waitress for the manager and, surprisingly, she said she was the manager. I asked her about the required tip because I didn't want to pay it. She proceeded to defend the restaurant and herself after I said I wasn't happy with the service. In the end, I paid for the full total. The decorations were nice... and that is my entire list of nice things about the place. Our waiter Neil was rude and unhelpful. We did not feel like we were being taken care of at all. The food was overpriced, overcooked, and just plain bland. I had to spit out several pieces of steak that I simply could not cut or chew through. I got "The Rancher" a T-Bone stake dinner with baked potato, half corn cob, salad on the side. Biscuits and cornbread with honey and butter. My son got the half rack of ribs and it was a good portion, baked potato and half corn cob. If you drink beer there is a bar and a verity of brand name beer. The atmosphere is like an old time stake house benches and tables (there are no booths) close quarters with other costumers. Service was nice not bad, seemed like they had to warm up to you first but it was good service. staff also speaks Spanish and English. read more

Old and brown on the inside. The beans have very little flavor, guessing straight out of a can. The salad was simple, right out of a bag. My wife had the shish kabob which most of the flavor seemed to come from the bell pepper and onion it was cooked with. She did have the apple pie for dessert, best part of the meal. When you make your money from tourists, I guess it's easy to stay in business with bad food and servers with next to no personality.
