I used to like this brand but it only took one incident with the store manager to deter me from buying their products again. I was there October 31 and I saw that they had NFL logos on their bottles. I was trying to decide on color and when I flipped it over to check the price, one was $9 more than the other, so naturally that helped me decide to get the cheaper one. I was in a rush so I didn't inspect it fully or even realize that I paid the price for one that was $9 more until the next day when I noticed there was a small dent on the cap. I brought it back to the store to exchange for another without a dent and asked about the cost. The young girl behind the register, called for the manager because she didn't know what to do. The manager told me that it rang up at the correct price. I showed her the price tag and she responded with, "Someone has been changing the tags". Ok well I didn't know that and it's not my problem. I told her that I had just purchased the night before so how was I getting charged the newer price. She explained further that someone in their store--and employees keeps changing the tags. First of all if you know you have an employee doing this, WHY are they still employed by you? And second, it was on you, you should have just honored the price. If it was a few dollars, I would have just let it slide but $9-come on. And any other store would have corrected this properly. You guys didn't. For this reason I won't shop here anymore. read more

Yeti is located on the second floor of the Ala Moana Shopping center, they have a lot of selection, I am glad that they have a store so that I can feel and touch the product. We were greeted at the door when we enter. The price is pretty much the same as you buy at the store, online or from Amazon. I purchased an 18 Oz. Rambler with straw. They advertised as - Dishwasher safe, made with 18/8 kitchen grade stainless steel, double-wall vacuum insulation keeps drinks fold or hot. It also stated that no sweat design prevents condensation. I had one for 5 years and it works well. However, it started to leak at the cap, and I dropped it all the time, so, it is time to replace mine. As far as warranty, they are pretty good, but warranty is only process online, not in store. Also, you must purchase your Yeti at their website, store, or authorized dealer in order to qualify their warranty. Warranty only applies to the person who originally purchased the product. So many fine prints. Very nice product but a bit pricy. read more

I was apprehensive calling the store and then going in person considering the negative reviews on Yelp. My experiences with this Yeti store is entirely different. I received a wonderful but gigantic Yeti cooler for my birthday from a close friend that was shipped to me. We couldn't keep it due to its size and we doubted we would use it much. I called the store and left a message. The morning manager returned my call promptly and was pleasant and quick to confirm that since I had proof of purchase through an email, I could come in and exchange or get store credit. When I went to the store - at night, due to a long work day, the workers greeted me warmly and directed me to an employee that could help me with what I needed. Longer story short, I exchanged the gigantic Roadie 60 for a more useable Roadie 24 and two Hopper Flip 12. Mahalo for everything read more

Leave it up to the magicians who manage Ala Moana to bring in yet another hot biz! Located on level three in the former Uniqlo pop-up, it's a spacious footprint showcasing their handful of merch. It's great to be able to see and touch the products in person versus looking at pics online. My only gripe is that there weren't posted prices. They're hidden inside of the products, forcing you to open lids and zippers. Very inconvenient. Having a small price & product detail sign on the respective shelves would be so much easier. I didn't buy anything as I wasn't in the market for it at the time. After the fact, I needed to replace my acrylic insulated coffee cup that started to leak but ended up buying a 25 oz. Wow! I can't believe Yeti finally opened their own store in Hawaii. They took over the location where Morphe cosmetics used to be. Their tumblers and cups are really popular. Select stores at the mall carry their merchandise. it's nice that they now have their own store that also sells bags, apparel and coolers. I got there right when they opened at 10am. There were about five or six of us waiting. Service was mediocre. I was looking around, but non of the employees approached me to offer any help. There was this male associate just standing there and just watched me walk out the door without saying a thing to me. I'll give them a pass as they just opened a few days ago. read more

Yeti is here!! Not the creature but the flask we've all grown to love and its store is finally here in Ala Moana Center 3rd level right above the Centerstage woohoo!! Who knew they had so many other products including bags, storage and outdoor/camping equipment and yes even apparel. This spacious shop has that and I enjoyed browsing everything they have, as all things new we do tend to flock over and get curious and this is something everyone will enjoy making it a welcome addition to the mall. Yes it's absolutely brand new so giving the staff a break as it's management that should set the grand opening tone but for excitement but as it seems quite overwhelming what Yeti could've done is staff it more heavily but then again the nation is quite short staffed so I'm not going there at the moment and see what it will be like once it settles. I did not purchase anything yet as I've been blessed to have gifted several Yeti items and are still in great condition so I'm patiently waiting for promotion or the holiday season deals to kick in but am so happy to have them here as the options are incredible. You would think a big corporate company like YETI would offer a better return / exchange policy. NOPE!!! You can get a gift receipt when you purchase something to give as a gift. But when someone tries to return the item, you have to use the value right at that moment. They do NOT offer any refunds or merchandise credit of any kind. It's kinda weird there's no prices anywhere so I feel really pressured to constantly ask for help even though I'm just browsing for my upcoming Xmas shopping. I like all the available colors and sizes. If the prices were posted or on a price tag, I think it would be easier so I can decide what size is in price range without asking anyone. Meant to write this review shortly after they opened the store. I love yeti cups and flasks. Not only to use for myself but to give as gifts. With their new, very popular purple color, I was super happy to find everything in cosmic lilac inside! They have all their merchandise nicely displayed by colors and style of item. From small cups, flasks in all sizes, coolers and bags. Merch I didn't even realize they made are in this store. Located on the third level right next to center stage area. If you are on the mall level, go up the escalators on the left side of where the stage seating is and it's on your left. Previously, it was where Morphe used to be. So why the 3 stars instead of 5... purely service. No one greeted any of us, even though we all purchased multiple items. There is no pricing on the items. You'll either need to know off hand based on style and size or scan the QR code to look it up. Since no worker asked if any of us needed help, we had to become the worker. There's no real register area but there was a young man standing next to a table top in the middle section ringing folks up with a mobile device. Might just continue purchasing online or through other surf shops unless it's a color or style only at this storefront. read more

They had a nice variety of items. I was looking forward to getting a pink hopper cooler but they didn't have any in stock at the moment. There were probably only 2 cashiers checking people out and they utilized their phones to take payments. Cleanliness and organization was good. Store associates were helpful. Went to store to purchase giveaways for a Xmas party, everyone there today (10/4) was extremely helpful, courteous, and knowledgeable. This team was all world. I called Saturday night searching for an 85 Tank lid. Boomshakalaka they had 1. Then showed up needing latches for the Tundras and stoppers..latches-check yet they didnt have the stoppers. Our cashier went above and beyond to find a solution. I purchase Yeti products as corporate gifts and have spent thousands of dollars on these products over the years. I thought it'd shop at the Yeti store in Ala Moana this time so I could work directly with a sales associate versus ordering online. Sadly, this was one of the worst retail experiences I've had in a very long time. I arrived when the store opened in the morning, so there were just a handful of customers inside. Besides the greeter saying "Hi", no one asked if I needed any assistance beyond that. The employees looked actually angry and tired. I asked an associate a question and she literally looked at me for 15 seconds without saying anything at all. Maybe I disturbed her opening up boxes? It's sad because I would have easily purchased all of my corporate gifts from Yeti again this year, but after this reception and treatment, I am not shopping here again. read more

I have a gifted 26 ounce YETI Rambler bottle. It has the screw on and off top, which is a bother. I discovered the Ala Moana store. Yay!... Well, when walked in, the guy who appeared to be an employee by the door, ignored me. I saw two young women chatting together in their YETI T-shirts, and they ignored me. There were a couple of others around individually walking or standing around. Me, looking straight at them, and they didn't say a thing. Of course my mouth works. I can ask for help. I just came to confirm that I am not the only one who was ignored in a store with at least five "sales " people while there were maybe 10 potential customers. I see I am not. Don't bother going here, except maybe to look and see the product in person before buying it from any other place but here. My husband is a Government Employee but Sabad the employee told us that they stopped giving 20% discount to Government Employees. Coz she said they are overusing it. Wow! When was that implemented? I went into the store at 10:00. I was looking for a specific product and showed the associate a picture. She told me "It over there.". I had to ask her to walk me there and show me as over there could be anyplace in the store. There isn't a register so I has to ask where to check out. I was told to wait the this other girl (the one who unlocked the door) and that was fine. What bothers me that most stores thank you for your business and I got nothing. I love yeti but the workers and the layout of the store kind of suck. I walked into the empty store, there were four workers and none of them greeted me or asked if i needed assistance. I was just looking for a cooler but the products were so unorganized and mixed. It seemed like they organized by color and not item type/size. The ice packs were on two opposite ends of the store, the cups were mixed in everywhere, as was everything else. I wandered back and forth throughout the store trying to compare cooler sizes because they were spread throughout 4 diff parts of the store all while the workers ignored me but i found one i was ok with. read more

Maybe it's Christmas time and the employees just want to be home or somewhere other than at work, but I was really turned off by the attitude of the staff today. Rewind to the night before... Called the night before asking if they had an item in stock. Girl said they have 1 left. I asked by any chance do they allow holds, she cheerfully said she can hold it til the end of the day tomorrow. Great! So I go into the store in a great mood. Go up to a girl just standing there and explain I had called last night and had an item on hold. She walkies asking if it's on hold. A guy on the floor says he doesn't think there's anything on hold (without checking). Another guy says he thinks it's on someone's desk. First guy says he doesn't think so but asks me what color. So after all this arguing, girl is still standing there doing nothing, 1st guy is still insisting there's nothing there. 2nd guy actually went to look and found it. Ok great! Girl standing there expression-less rings me up. Then she notices my item costs more than $100 and says I get a free gift for spending over $100. Awesome! (I don't know why she didn't know the price BEFORE she rung me up but whatever). As I'm paying, I ask what is it (because it's all wrapped in tissue paper), she says "it's a bottle". FUCKING GENIUS!!! I really hope this is a one-time experience. When I visited the Austin flagship store, the service and staff were ALL so cheerful, helpful, and knowledgeable. I was pretty excited to find that a Yeti store was going to open at Ala Moana. I've been buying Yeti products for over 10 years. I get excited when a new collection launches. However, I was disappointed by my in-store experience. I visited the store this past weekend. I was planning on buying anything, just to browse. But I did end up making a purchase. First issue: no one was welcoming or fretting customers when they came in to the store, so it made it hard to distinguish who actually worked at the store versus who a customer was. Second issue: I finally found someone that was able to complete my transaction, but the employee who did had no clue what he was doing. I get that it's a new store, but there should've been some training done before hand. Third issue: I first tap my card to pay, the employee says it didn't go through so I use the chip function, employee says it still didn't go through. So I use a different card, which finally worked. Didn't offer me a receipt or anything. I go home and find the transaction went through on both cards. Fourth issue: I go into the store the following day and asked to speak to a manager. From the start, the manager was not friendly at all, didn't introduce himself. While explaining my situation, he seemed uninterested and distracted as if I was wasting his time. He proceeds to basically tell me that my transaction wasn't worth disputing because it usually only happens on international cards. Um, hello? Just because it's a store in Hawaii doesn't mean you'll only get customers who are tourists, a main source of your customers are going to be locals as well. He finally offers to send over the info to the compliance department and says they'll review and get back within 3-5 business days. I didn't think my issue was that hard for I solve. I spoke calmly and didn't give any issue. I'm sure Yeti has flown in employees/managers to help start this location but those individuals can't operate on a mainland type service level. They need to understand that the way businesses operate here are based on customer relationships and the Aloha spirit and not on the amount you spend. read more

Asked the girl for an inventory check and she forgot to follow up to let me know she didn't have the item. Went to visit on 1/27 to purchase a coffee mug. Walked in and there was a worker I think that was suppose to be greeting customers as they walk in but no she pretty much just stared at us walk in, while I SMILED AND SAID HELLO TO HER. She also didn't say hi back. Lol ok... Customer service is pretty much non existent here. No one comes up to you to ask if you need any help. I bought this cup in a rush from YETI. I realized when I left the store it was damaged, brought it back the next day to return, they wouldn't accept it without the packaging. They told me it had to have the packaging on it. I explained that it was thrown away so I asked if I should dig it out of the trash, they said yes and then we will return it. I go dig it out of the trash had to double bag it because that's nasty!! Brought it in spoke to maybe 4 people until the store manager david talks to me. I give him the run down on what had happened had no kind of manners he told me that his workers would have never of told me to do that and we didn't sell that to you like that and told me he wouldn't accept a return or even an exchange. Terrible customer service, we had a 26oz water bottle that we wanted to get store credit / exchange for something online because inventory in this store is trash. The girl we spoke to gave no options and basically said no they can't do store credit / help with ordering something online instead. She was very rude and didn't look like she wanted to help us. Then why do you work in retail... but i digress. Like we didn't want a refund, we still wanted a yeti product, just a different size and a different color... the inventory they had in store was limited.. we didn't want anything in there.. so our options were: refund back to the original payers card or exchange for something in store. So we left upset, and over itttt. Then my boyfriend went back to have them refund it back to our friend who bought it for us originally, and he tried to speak with the original girl that was helping us, but he was directed to someone else?? seemed like the original girl he spoke to didn't want to help... so he spoke with a man who explained that everything needs to be completely unused and intact. The label was ripped. So they stated they wouldn't refund it... the return policy here is insane, what if someone truly was not happy with their purchase after using it?! You wouldn't be able to get your money back. Service sucks, inventory sucks, return policy is trash. Just shop online or in other stores like HIC or T&C. Literally anywhere else. read more

Went to check out YETI since I was excited to see their stuff in person. Overall was a great experience even thought it was a little too warm in store. I was able to get help from Michelle, who was very pleasant, she was able to answer my questions and even offer great suggestions on other items.
