I've been dealing with plantar fasciitis so I was desperate to get new work shoes for the following week because I'm on my feet all day. I called Runner's Hi to see if they were open during the storm and Ray answered. I explained what I was looking for and he said to come in. When my son & I got there Ray greeted us and I told him I had called ahead. Ray went above & beyond to help me find the right shoes & inserts to deal with my plantar fasciitis. He sized me, took a look at my feet and saw I had collapsing arches. He recommended 2 different shoes. I asked him for all black shoes because I needed them for work. He had me try on 2 different pairs of shoes one was the Hoka Bondi 9 and a pair of Brooks and had me walk around to test them. Ray also suggested that I walk around with Hoka on one foot & Brooks on the other foot to compare the 2 shoes better. I ended up with the Hokas & the recommended inserts to make it more comfortable for my plantar fasciitis. I also bought a massage ball and compression sock to aid in my recovery. The Hokas felt great & I made sure to wear my current work shoes to the store so Ray could see what I was currently wearing. Thank you so much Ray! I will definitely be back when it's time to upgrade my work shoes.

Located in Waikele Premium Outlets in Waipahu Adidas Outlet is actually a favorite of mom's and as I took her to various errands I knew that shopping here would be something she didn't know she wanted lol! She's the type that rarely walks into a store and I need to encourage to do so and this again was no different and we were quite surprised to see many items were marked 50% off and she found a simple shirt that she loved for $10 and as she tried it on I noticed a tote that was very nice (she loves bags just as much as I do) and showed it to her and POOF! she bought it lol! So excited of her new bag she used it for the rest of the day and this simple bliss that makes us smile is what's retail therapy all about. Checking out the staff is just so amazing and kind always helping us find the best deal and is why I just love shopping here whenever I'm at Waikele. Thank you!

Both of them busy working, helping customers, checking if anyone needed anything, straightening shoes, and running back and forth to get sizes. One worker especially stood out was Brian. Very respectful, and local calling me "Aunty," and giving me honest pros and cons about the shoes I was looking at. He told me the only way I'd know if I really liked a shoe was to try it on. He was right. I thought I liked one, but once I put it on... nope. Didn't feel right. Since he could see I was willing to spend for a good shoe, he suggested I invest five dollars more for a pair that was more comfortable and weatherproof the two criteria I needed. He brought out a few options, and the one I liked felt a little loose at first. He suggested tightening the laces, but then it started hurting my ankle, so he took the time to remove the top lace and adjust it for me. After that, perfect fit. Love my new shoes, but honestly, the customer service from Brian and his coworker made the whole experience even better. Got this color so this 64 year old could look "smooth." lol. Go Skechers!

It felt pretty much like self-service, since there were so few employees at the time I went. They didn't have the shoe style that I actually wanted, so I picked out a style that was marked down, and tried it on. The fit was good, so I decided to get it, and purchase the other one thru the app. Checkout was fairly smooth, and the clerk reminded me about the BOGO 50% promotion, but since I rarely wear regular shoes, other than golf shoes (and they didn't have any others in my size), I passed on it. Perhaps I should have considered getting some sandals or slippers, but I can still do that online. He was able to check my account status, and applied my membership discount to my purchase, and I was done. A good, quick turnaround, and other than the lack of inventory and sizes, it was a good experience.

As I took mom on several errands that needed to be done awhile ago finding some shoes was very much needed and as she shopped at Skechers which is right next door I decided to bypass all that stress and check out Lids. Nice spacious shop that very nicely organized by categories that took me back to memories with my dad was very much a fanatic of hats and owned several though his favorites were fitted ones I remember shopping one for him with his favorite teams now seeing how it's come a long way that now you're able to personalize them and make it custom which is so cool and wished they had that option back then. With other types available as well like bucket hats and visors that are all plain and blank ready for personalization it's a fun place to create your own and find that inspiration as well in the convenience with lots of free parking and always a sale going is a great budget friendly place to shop. My feet are so picky that finding shoes are just the stress that my whole feet suffers and I've always on a search every when I'm not looking especially on this occasion it was for mom as her shoes are pretty much done and was searching for a replacement before that happens and decided to check out Waikele outlets as the traditional options has gone quite pricey. Clarks has always been one of her favorites as it's like they made them for your feet personally, the comfort level is priceless though honestly the style is yet to behold for me though they have been looking quite cute as I've seen some styles that capture my attention but the struggle is real that they didn't have my size...sigh! They staff here are okay as I didn't really get much greet or service but do find my way easily here and they did have a deal for multiple purchase though when you only find one that is a bummer but love the selection they have and hope to find one more summer sandals style when I return. As for me, a few of my favorite stores I like to visit is - the Lowe's hardware store, Reyn Spooner, & the Van's shoe store. Beside shopping, the outlet mall also has restaurants, a small food court, & numerous food trucks in the parking lot so finding something yummy to eat shouldn't be too hard. Parking here is a breeze, as the outlet mall has ample parking. If you don't have a car, I noticed a lot of tourist would catch a shuttle to this outlet mall. I have kind of accepted that and the bare minimum being; just show up lol. Not here. The employees are checking all the boxes for me and my family. Thank you for that. Clothing, footwear, skate gear, accessories and more. Style collabs from anime, skate brands, and import cars. Exactly what my teens are into. EXPERIENCE: This store is located in the Waikele Premium Outlets in a medium-sized spot in the mall's west end. Parking is horrendous. The shop was neat and organized, with shoe samples on display and the inventory stacked on shelves right behind the display. It's mainly a self-serve kind of operation but an abundant amount of staff buzz around offering assistance. Vans has a nice selection of men's shoes in a variety of colors and patterns, but the only thing that irks me is their label that's glued onto the back of the soles that aren't even flat but protrude up on one side due to a bump in the design. I picked up a low top in ash gray with accents of black plaid and cement gray soles. And on top of that, everything in the store was BOGO half-off. Every single item! We saved bookoo bucks! And for the record, don't think their products are defective or irregular because it's an outlet store; there's nothing wrong with them. The workers were all very friendly and helpful; so unlike what I'm accustomed to on Maui where you get no acknowledgment or assistance. The female cashier who assisted us was terrific too and very patient as she walked us over to where the shoe laces were and assisted us instead of just pointing them out. OVERALL: We found such great deals here and at other stores in Waikele, so they're definitely on our must-do list when visiting Oahu. My shoe size wasn't available in some styles which is the only reason this review isn't a 5-star.
