Huge seafood pancake, more than enough for 4 people. Very crispy. Love all the banchan it was very fresh. Got the pasta soup which was delicious and the service was great here. Will definitely come back again

Yet Tuh is tucked away at the bottom of a building off Buford Highway. You will likely wonder if the restaurant even exists as your GPS leads you down, but it is there! There is plenty of parking for the restaurant as well. My husband and I visited on a Wednesday night a little after dinner rush, so it wasn't busy. It's a small little restaurant, and we were instantly sat by the employees. They offer ice water and/or hot tea as complimentary drinks which I love as many of the Korean restaurants no longer offer barley tea now. The banchan at this restaurant is delicious. For an appetizer, we got the kimchi pancake. It was soooo crispy. Since it was just the two of us, we had to pack it to go, but they were so kind to pack a to go cup sauce with it! I got the kimchi stew as my entree, and it was the perfect amount of sourness. They do put pork belly in it, which is a pleasant surprise, but I wanted to call it out since it wasn't marked clearly on the menu. My husband got the spicy stir fried pork, and it comes with a cup of seaweed soup. I love soup, so it wasn't busy delicious to me. My husband doesn't really like seaweed though, so he didn't enjoy it as much. He did really enjoy his entree, though he admits it isn't the best stir fried pork he has, but he has a bit of a bias on this one haha. Overall, we will definitely be back!

An okay Korean restaurant now in Doraville off of Buford Hwy. Back in the days, this restaurant was pretty good, but now the quality and service... We ordered a lot and nothing really hit the spot except for the alcohol

AMAZING! This place is as authentic as it comes. The food was delicious. And service was fast. It seems like a small mom & pop spot as a hole in the wall. I got the kimchi stew & short rib combo and the pork belly. They were a bunch of banchan side items and they do refills on them also. This is going to be my new go to spot

Great service and great cooked foods. Soups...are ok. The service here was fantastic. Everyone one was great. The jeon here is some of the best I've ever eaten...my mother's included. It's just perfectly mixed and crispy. The haemul pajeon (seafood and spring onion pancake) and the kimchee jeon (kimchee pancake) are FANTASTIC. If you come here, you have to order one of these. They are the best things on the menu. The ojinga bokkum (stir-fried spicy squid) is also great. It comes out on a sizzling hot plate and continues to cook and makes the squid so tender and delicious. I've also tried the dwoenjjang chigae and the kimchee chigae and they were ok. Nothing special and nothing worth making the trip for. You can get the same quality soups at H-Mart or Assi Market and take it home for much cheaper. Lastly, the banchan, the free little appetizer bowls/plates that come with every Korean meal are so good here. They are an event in themselves and I love that each time I come here, they are different and always fresh and delicious.

The best kimchi pancake in Atlanta. Glad I got that off my chest. It's giant, thick, crispy, all the things you want in a kimchi pancake. They have a seafood version too! The menu is a bit on the small side and focuses more on soups and noodles and some of the "classic" things like bulgogi aren't on the menu. We had a lot of fun trying soups we've not had before and I really liked the pureed bean soup. It was hearty and good. You can get the soup as a "combo" and get a side of short ribs too. The banchans are good and the waitress/hostess refills willingly. One thing that really sets this place a part is the outdoor seating. Something a lot of Korean places in Atlanta don't have. I can't wait to come back and enjoy it!

Small plates and well, go and you can discover the delicious main courses!

I am hesitant to recommend because then the best Korean gem of a restaurant secret will be out . The room is very welcoming and the service and kitchen off the dining area have a homey feel. The grilled mackerel is delicious and we can't say enough good things about the Korean bachan (small side dishes) divine. The stews and beef noodles and of course Korean beer, terrific!

Yet Tuh is a humble, delicious and non-pretentious spot located in a nondescript parking lot serving massive portions of Korean comfort food, ranging from your classic bulgogi combos to their take on more unique classics such as grilled mackerel or hairtail fish. Although everything looked delicious I decided to stick with one of their classic combos with their soybean paste stew which comes with a side of 3-4 pieces of short-rib. The stew was flavorful and rich and bursting with flavor. I was thankful it wasn't so salty as to detract from the taste although I felt the bulgogi short ribs were a bit on the blander side. Still, as part of a combo meal I wasn't too disappointed and enjoyed the pairing of protein with the stew. In hindsight, I think it's significantly better value to order the soybean stew on its own ($10.99 vs $25.99 as part of the combo) but I'm not complaining too much. The seafood pancake was also delicious and was a massive portion, split into 8 pieces. It was packed with seafood so you definitely get your money's worth (only $3 more compared to the general kimchi pancake) and a great appetizer if you have a party of four or more. Overall, I think this humble spot lives up to its name and collection of awards. In an area dominated by delicious Korean food Yet Tuh holds its own and manages to impress with its extensive menu and attention to detail.

Came back to try some other dishes. Group of friends shared: - bibim naengmyeon: spicy noodle with lots of veggies. The veggies added a nice freshness, but the sauce itself wasn't well balanced. Not enough sweet and acidity. The portion was big though (2.5/5) - LA kalbi: standard beef ribs (3/5) - fermented soybean soup: this was my favorite of what we ordered! Tasted like my grandma's (4/5) - seafood pancake: HUGE. Also, very crispy almost fried? Can see it being heavy for some people but I liked it. Come with a spicy sauce to dip (3.5/5)

We really enjoyed our food at Yut Teh and feel as though it should be more well known. You get a home-y feel there with delicious food. The Korean aunties serving us were very kind and happy to answer any questions we had! Food came out in a reasonable time. We got the seafood pancake (so thick and crispy), the kalbi & soondubu combo, and the flatfish. We were quite full with the banchan too which they were happy to refill. I only wish the cost was a little more affordable and for the kalbi combo to have more pieces.

    Maggie H.

I got the spicy noodles with vegetables. The menu said it was level 2/3 spice, but I don't think it was accurate. I wish the sauce was more flavorful or had a full egg. It looks like the soup may have been the better choice instead of what I got, but I have been craving a good place for cold noodles. Side dishes came out quick. The plaza the restaurant in is very empty and eerie. There is lots of free parking in the parking lot. The restaurant has a few outdoor seating but lots of booth seating inside. Service was okay, the Korean lady was nice.

Korean sausage soup - sooooo good
    Chau N.

Checked out this hole-in-the-wall restaurant recently. Note that GPS may not be accurate (its at the base of a complex, keep driving downhill). Was especially impressed by the Korean sausage soup. $17.99 and full of sausage and stomach and it was very flavorful. The mackerel was huge. Place is run by Korean mom/housewives that serves extremely authentic food.

We got the pork belly and yukgaejang. Both were delicious. The banchan is always very fresh and tasty. One of my favorite korean restaurants in the area, they have very homey food.

The Korean food scenes got my wife and I hungry every time! Having been to many of Atlanta's best Korean restaurants over the past decade, Stone Bowl is a clear notch above the rest. The side dishes are just simply better with robust authentic seasoning and unforgettable flavor that leaves you craving for more. The kimchi is spot on for spice but not overwhelming. The potatoes are to die for, cooked to perfection, tender and absorbent of all the nearby flavors. For the first time, we tried the Korean sushi roll (K-Pop Demon Hunters was calling) and it didn't disappoint. Stuffed with fresh cooked bulgogi and veggies, we ate it so fast we were left thinking of Korean sushi rolls had an edge over Japanese sushi rolls! And we also got the poached dumplings for the first time and almost went as fast as the sushi roll. The authentic style of poaching the dumpling made it taste homemade from grandma's kitchen. The sizzling plate of bulgogi was amazingly put down the gullet on top of everything else. Consistently on point and warms the tummy. Service is cordial, but somewhat aloof and distant at times because we would have loved an offer to refill our side dishes, but admittedly they are often busy and we don't go there to expect Michelin dining service levels. We come for the food. Awesome food. And Stone Bowl House will be seeing us again before long.

Service? Excellent. Ambiance? Relaxed and enjoyable. Food? Oh...MAN. Wow…read more.. I came here about 8 years ago with the same family members +1 family friend and we enjoyed dinner then, but it truly didn't compare to this visit. Previously, I had Kang Nam slated as an overpriced, but decent sushi place that serves meals on a more robust scale if you're dining with a party. However, the sushi back then was somewhat underwhelming. Last night, we had a phenomenal set. Hamachi, Otoro, Unagi, Ebi, and more! Every piece was delicately balanced and beautifully arranged. Honestly, I wasn't really expecting too much going in- and I'd only chosen Kang Nam as a place where I could get some decent sushi while my family got something else entirely. My mom had Don Katsu (served with a small dish of Japanese style curry sauce). My uncle got the Tempura Udon, of which they served the tempura shrimp on the side in a bed of tempura flakes. This is kind of genius, because you can make the decision on when you want to dip in your tempura instead of them bringing it and you have to down the tempura fast in order to still have it be crunchy... NOT HERE! It stays crunchy since they serve it separately. Love that. We had refillable banchan: kimchi, king oyster mushrooms, and glass noodles- all of which were delicious. We all received bowls of deliciously simple miso soup and we ordered a set of fried dumplings. Everything was great! That is...until the sushi came out. Wow. Presentation: 10/10. Flavor? 10/10. Portion-size: TEN OUT OF TEN, Y'ALL. The sushi rice was fantastic and they didn't use too much like a lot of places do with their nigiri. The toppings were functionally decorative. The sweet shrimp was especially pretty with two different colors of roe on top. The yellowtail didn't need the toppings it had- green onion and fish/squid flakes(?)- in my opinion, but they added a dimension of texture to the initial bite and a hint of flavor to the finish. The fish was perfect in every way: not too thick, no too thin, overlapping the rice by double to allow for perfect soy sauce dips without soaking the rice, and I just CAN NOT EXPLAIN how good each piece was... The sushi rolls were so delicious and every bite had wonderful textures and flavors, but my absolute favorite roll was the one with the smoked tuna on top- WOW! Absolutely stunned. Never - EVER - have I actually tasted the smoke flavor so clearly and completely. I am a HUGE fan of that one and I can't even remember the name of it...it's in the picture on the plate behind the sweet shrimp. The eel nigiri was also a highlight for me- as it's one of my favorite pieces of sushi, I always order several pieces. I was happily surprised to see they were nearly twice the size I get at other restaurants. Hands-down, the best otoro (fatty tuna) I've had in Atlanta. The sushi chef here also believes in giving special service by preparing some extra pieces for the customers as well. I only ordered one set of otoro, but next time....oh my...my bill is gonna hurt next time. Each 2-piece set of otoro is set at $17, so...yeah... It's going to be SO WORTH IT though. I will 10000% be back- soon. I might just get some Otoro, Hamachi, and one of those smoked tuna rolls...man. SO. RIDICULOUSLY. GOOD. Get in there if you haven't been in a while. Trust me!
