We then called Better Home, and they came by quickly to take a look and mentioned some stuff about our water heater, and we decided to get a new one since it was already 15 years old. They brought a new water heater and replaced it, and took our old one out. Super efficient. In regards to the price, it was what it was, but I looked up the water heater and it wasn't a super crazy markup to what they charged us plus labor, so I'm not complaining.

Yaro responded to my quote request on Yelp and provided a quote based off my photo. He had a window available within the next hr and was able to identify and seal the earthquake valve elbow part better. I am thankful for his speedy repair and PG&E was able to come back same day to turn the gas back on. Yaro's rate was competitive and has a 1 year labor warranty. There was an error date on the receipt so I'm just waiting for the revised receipt with the correct date. Other than that, I'm so glad to find him and would call him back for any plumbing issues.

Despite multiple phone calls and voicemails left over the past several months, I have not received a single return call. On one occasion, I was able to speak with a receptionist and specifically requested a callback to arrange service; however, no one ever followed up. I have made consistent, good-faith efforts to fulfill my responsibility as a customer to maintain the system within the warranty requirements. At this point, I am very concerned that the lack of response from the company could result in my warranty being jeopardized or voided through no fault of my own. Our water is night and day better than it was before. I can drink from the tap with no mineral taste. I can wash my hands without a gallon of soap. I can rest easy knowing my home's plumbing is better protected. The price of the full install was very reasonable and Trevor made scheduling easy. From start to finish Trevor was super helpful and easy to work with. He made an initial consult visit to make sure he knew the house layout and all the materials he would need for the install, and then came out a couple of weeks later to install the unit. One thing I liked is that he is also a licensed electrician, and was able to pull wire directly for the unit and he even installed a new, unused outdoor outlet near the unit solely for our convenience and use. This shows an attention to detail and quality that I really appreciated. The install went smoothly and Trevor gave us a nearly one hour long in-person training on all the things we need to know about owning the water softener. He allowed us to record the video which gave us a ton of peace of mind. Within the same day our water was vastly improved.
