Driver was rude, refused to start meter, tried to talk game to my wife, car was a mess, no taxi license on display, and tried to scam us. Driver refused to start meter. He pulled off to the side of the road and demanded a fucking ridiculous price. You cannot just pull a price out of your ass, you are legally obligated to use the meter. When I insisted he start the meter and drive he told me to get out. As we were exiting the driver started taunting us, saying "What are you gonna do about it" and "No one will pick you up tonight"....except for the Uber that picked me up 5 minutes later. Stop trying to rip everyone off. Learn some fucking professionalism. It is not the passengers fault that you are salty about the failure you turned into. read more

Terrible experience. I called to be picked up and dropped off a couple miles away. They told me it would be about 20 minutes but it ended up taking an hour, and that was after repeated calls asking where my cab was. The funny thing too was that about a half hour AFTER I was dropped off at my destination, the dispatcher called back (finally) to tell me my cab was almost there. Makes me wonder who picked me up. The cab itself was a pig sty, the driver was slovenly, and when I wanted to pay with a credit card he acted like he didn't know how to do that. In addition, where I was going was west of my pickup point, and the guy chose to go to the freeway onramp located EAST of us to get on the freeway. There was no advantage in choosing east over west in this situation, except to generate a higher fare. When I asked why he was going east, he got flustered and said "fine, I'll reset the fare", being all huffy about it, and ended by saying "money isn't everything". Beware of driver at San Bernardino train depot. I negotiated a price 4 miles for $10. He agreed. He wanted an extra $2.00 to take me all the home. I told him thats all the money I had. I have been forced to use these "people" for disability rides. The drivers and dispatchers are incompetent. They are consistently either an hour early and then tell me the can't wait for me to get to the street. Or they are very late and I miss my Dr Appointment. The cars are falling apart. They drive like they have been drinking all day. And to top it all off. The drivers always end up hitting on me or trying to talk about my sex life. I am not hot or skinny or young so I am not bragging. They are disgusting human beings if you are WOMAN of any age DO NOT USE YELLOW CAB. When I use a cab on my own I use Happy Taxi. But my health insurance only uses Bell cab to go to your employment. I have been asked why complain when the ride is free? Called Yellow/Bell cab about 15 to 20 minutes prior to the arrival of our Metrolink train. They informed that they will be there. Arriving to the Santa Fe Metrolink station, there was no taxi. Called the dispatch and they didn't seem to care. The only thing she stated was that they give the message to the driver and after that it is not their concern. She took the name and said it would be an additional 10 to 20 minutes. NOT ONCE, did she take the call back number. After standing there for a minute dumbfounded that these people were the worst at customer service nor customer satisfaction. We cancelled the order and informed dispatch that we will leave a bad review. Now, we understand why Uber and Lyft have taken off. Especially when you reserve a taxi or a ride home because it is cold and dark. Extremely disappointed in the way they treat customers. That is okay, I will never contact this company again. Had the WORST experience with Yellow Cab aka Bell Cab in Riverside. Dispatchers do not know where even large-scale chain restaurants are such as El Torito. Come on, there is only one mall known as "Riverside Plaza" in Riverside, and only one El Torito located there. When we called for a cab to pick us up, we were told 5 to 30 minute wait. After 35 minutes, we called to find out where the cab was and the ETA, and were told, "oh we sent them to Kilarney's." What?!?! That's not what we asked for, but in defense of the obviously moronic dispatcher, when we told her we needed pickup at El Torito, she did ask, "is that near Kilarney's?" What incompetence. If you find yourself in need of a cab in the Riverside area, and you are desperate, I'd suggest calling, then calling again and again until the cab arrives. Perhaps speaking slowly and getting the dispatcher to repeat the pickup location several times would help? I'm really wondering if the short bus drops off the dispatchers to Yellow Cab. Yellow cab / Bell cab is ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE! Never call 866-208-1919. I pre-ordered a cab and gave them twice as much time as they needed to pick me up. When the driver was late I called the dispatcher named "Natalie" to find an ETA on my driver. She kept saying he would be there soon. I asked how many minutes. She replied, "what you actually want me to give you an ETA!?" I told her that I need to know when he will be here because now I am running late. She put me on hold then came back and said "soon about 15 minutes" then hung up on me. When the driver still didn't show I called back and wouldn't you know it, that charming "Natalie" answered. I asked again when the driver will be showing up. She said "when he get's there". I was appalled and asked her if she was having a rough day. She hung up on me. I called right back and told her I didn't appreciate her behavior and wanted to speak to her manager. She told me to call back during regular business hours then hung up. I called her back again and asked where my cab was. At that point my cab finally pulled up so I was done with her and hung up. I have attempted to contact their manager but the dispatcher on duty now won't allow me to speak to the manager unless I disclose the exact reason why. It was not enough to tell her that I have a complaint and need to speak to a manager. THIS COMPANY SUCKS! read more
