    A5 Beef Bibimbop

Good convenient Korean spot tucked in the H-mart. Service yourself type of spot. Prices not too cheap but a big quantity of food. I got the spicy Galbi tang which came with deliciously cooked rice and my brother got the bibimbap. I preferred the bibimbap to the soup. The soup meat was not tender. Too tough. And definitely added some msg to it because I was thirsty afterwards. But it wasn't too bad and hit the spot. We also shared a tuna kimbap which was good. Next time I want to try the smoked pork hock.

Super casual spot in the corner of Hmart, order from the counter and sit yourself. Huge portions, around $17. So many options! Food came out quickly. Even though I got the mild, it was still more spicy than flavorful, a little too chewy. It came with Cole slaw with thousand island dressing and miso soup. My friend ordered the dumpling soup which I had some and it was great! I would go back and try other items

I have been eating here for a few years now and I've never had a bad experience. My all time favorite is the Hangover Soup (no hangover required). It's my go to spot when I'm sick or in need of a good hearty meal. The staff is always respectful and gets the food out in a timely manner. My sisters and I tried the corn dogs. It does take a bit, but the taste of the food makes up for it. I can safely say that I'll be eating them again. Will always be one of my favorite spots to eat!

    Gochujang Pork Belly

Thought the food was alright, not the greatest. Arrived at the venue and ordered a gochujang pork belly to-go. We shopped around Hmart before we went to go pick up our food. It was rather empty, so I asked the man at the cashier how much longer until it comes out and he said to wait a bit more. Turns out our food was already out on the left side of the counter and he just didn't care to tell us. Ambiance was okay with a decent seating area, but nothing crazy. Food ended up being oily and didn't taste great. Couldn't finish it and threw it out. I would recommend getting their budae jjigae instead. Food: 2/5 Service: 2/5 Ambiance: 3/5

Interesting place in HMart JerichoYeas Kitchen. Long wait on line to order. Looked like a changing of the guards as one girl left and I waited for another. I ordered the special a Spicy crunch Tofu that I found tasty and fresh as I sat at counter to eat and drink the Pineapple coconut drink. It is right across from the inside bakery called LAMI. ( see review and pix) I'd gotten the ticket and waited for order at counter. Chopsticks were on side as self serve. Oddly , I didn't see a place to return the tray. I'd try something else on menu.

Let me let out a big sign of disappointment before sharing my...disappointment. Seeing that this was embedded inside one of the better H Mart stores I've been to, I had SUCH high hopes for this place and their food. In short, I wouldn't eat their pork cutlet even if they paid me to, and here's why: what they gave us on the plate was a stiff slab of overcooked chicken with a questionable sauce with a questionable aftertaste. And for them to charge what they charge for what came on the plate made me feel robbed. My remedy was to stop eating the inedible, then run back and grab a pack of kimbap roll to cleanse my palate, which it did. And regardless of the reason, I wish the staff kept the tables clean because many of the tables were left untouched with foodstuffs on them, and combined with the food, convinced me never to eat there again. I hope they improve and I wish them well.

    Tonkatsu Ramen

Stopped in for some ramen. Ordered the Tonkatsu Ramen with Chashu meat. Looked good, but was disappointed with the noodles. Seems they used somen noodles and not tru ramen noodles. Which was ok since I enjoy those style noodles. But the soup nase was lacking in flavor. Maybe too much water was added. Just didn't hit the spot. I normally finish the ramen soup after eating the noodles, but could not do that with this soup base. The pork chashu ciuld have been cooked longer since it wasn't as soft and melt in your mouth like U am uaed to. Lot of other choices available, so maybe next time we will do that.

Hidden inside the H-Mart in Jericho is Yea's Kitchen. It is one of the food court vendors that make Korean food to go. Food: a great variety ranging from Fried Chicken, SoonDubu (soft Tofu), Bibimbap, Kalbi Tang and now ...corn dogs. We ordered: Kalbi Tang - Beef Short Rib Soup. This was very rich broth and tender short rib. (4/5) SoonDuBu - a lot of tofu. Good but not great. (3/5) Service: you order the food and wait. This is not fast food, so expect 10-15 minutes. Go shopping and come back. TL/DR: not necessarily cheap nor the best Korean food available )it's good, not great), but you get the convenience of everything in one place in Long Island.

    Jjajangmyeon

Cuisine: 6 Service: 6 Decor: 5 Value: 5 Overall: 6 Tucked away on the right side as you enter the giant H-Mart in Jericho is this restaurant that serves all the homestyle goodies from Korea that you would expect to find. The comfort foods include a bevy of soups, stews, rice and noodle dishes. You can order some Vietnamese pho type of noodle soups and some fried chicken from the deli a few steps over. None of the prices will feel like a food court stall because it's literally a restaurant with a ton of options, and it's in Long Island, not Flushing. On this day, I ordered a jjajangmyeon (noodles in black bean sauce), haejangguk (hangover soup), and some fried chicken. The service was definitely a bit slow, but at least the ladies were friendly enough. When I received my dishes on a cafeteria tray, some of the soup had spilled already. Not a big deal I guess, but I noticed the mess. What about the food? We started with the fried chicken, which was extremely crispy, well seasoned, and quite juicy. I would not hesitate to stop by for a snack whenever in this area. As for the haejangguk, flavor was overall good and the hot soup and veggies on rice was enjoyable. With that said, the big chunks of beef brisket was way too lean and absolutely terrible. However, it was not as bad as the jjajangmyeon, which had the sweetest sauce I ever had for this dish. For me, the noodles were fine, but I needed less onions, more black bean flavor and some meat at least. In other words, the sauce lacked the savory aspect I was craving. I much rather eat the instant noodle version at home. When I come back to this H-Mart again, I am willing to try some more of their food. But if it can't impress me next time, then I'll stick to the fried chicken.

    Kimchi Fries Rice
    Tina L.

What's in the fried rice sir? Eggs and rice. Clearly the staff has no idea what's in the food and does not like it when you ask questions. This is supposed to be Kimchi Fried Rice but it's more like Chinese fried rice mixed with some kimchi. Not authentic and not good.

    Kimbap
    Annie Y.

Yea's is located in the food court of H Mart. They offer lunch sets as well as some dishes already made. I've gotten their beef and shrimp kimbaps. Both were far better than the kimbaps sold in H Mart. My favorite was the shrimp but due to pricing, I wouldn't get it too often.

Half and half - don't order it
    Kiki C.

Ordered Korean fried chicken from here and felt very disappointed. The wait time was very long, if you bought frozen foods from H Mart, don't order from here, or order before going grocery shopping. The batter of the fried chicken was thick and uneven. The chicken meat was dry. The soy garlic/original is dry on both inside and outside, Popeyes is probably better than this. The spicy is just like adding Korean spicy sauce on the soy garlic, making the outside a little soggy. Honestly we expect it to be more authentic given it survives in H Mart, after today, we won't go all the way here for food anymore.

Since we were dining in, they gave us a table number and we placed it in the holder so staff know where to bring the food. Our order didn't take very long to arrive to our table, just about 10 minutes. After finishing your meal, you bus your own table. The menu has options for burgers, hot dogs, fries, salads, shakes, floats, and desserts. I ordered a Yellow Label Burger ($13.45) and a Strawberry shake ($6.75). My husband and I shared a Farm Salad ($9.75). The Yellow Label Burger comprises of USDA Prime Beef, homemade fried mac n cheese patty, lettuce, tomato on a potato bun. This was delicious! I liked how after biting into the crispy, breaded exterior it gives way to a hot, molten cheese center that oozes perfectly over beef. The Farm Salad which consisted of spring mix, tomato, blue cheese crumbles, sliced almonds, dried cranberries, and raspberry vinaigrette on the side was also very very very tasty, fresh, and a good portion. The strawberry shake was also very good and had pieces of strawberries. Black Label Burgers pride on only using USDA Prime Angus beef that comes from a single source, Double R Ranch, located in Washington State, a family-owned farm known for its responsible practices and superior beef. You can definitely taste the richness and juiciness of the beef. My husband had the Red Label Burger ($13.25) and the PB&J shake ($7.75). He really enjoyed his meal as well. I really liked the inside decor and the laid back vibes. Black Label Burgers is great for a quick lunch, a night out with friends, or a family dinner. I am looking forward to my next visit.

I stopped by on a Sunday afternoon and the place was busy, always a good sign. I liked the local (Long Island) themed decor, friendly service, spacious parking lot, wide variety of self-serve beverages (tangy lemonade - yay!) and nicely padded booths. Definitely a cut above competitors like Shake Shack in that regard. I chose the signature black label burger made with dry aged beef and regular fries. While the hand cut fries were wonderfully crispy and flavorful, the burger was kind of disappointing - not terrible, but the bun tasted stale and the meat was very bland. Also I ordered the burger cooked medium but it came out pink in the center, not my preference for chopped meat. Maybe I ordered the wrong item? I plan to try other menu items in the future to see if they hit my taste buds differently.
