For my daughter's dress, we wanted the sheer sides to be closed & the straps to sit just right on her shoulders and be comfortable. I don't know how Eva's pulled this off but they certainly did! Eva saw me right away, provided her expert recommendations on how best to alter the dress, and showed me the different options for making adjustments. She was incredibly professional and reassuring throughout the whole process. Despite the tight deadline, Eva worked her magic and got my dress back to me in just 1.5 weeks! It looked absolutely perfect, and you would never have known it was originally 5 sizes too big. To top it off, Eva also altered my husband's uniform to fit him perfectly. The staff was polite and attentive upon drop off and pick up. The cost for the 4 items I dropped off actually ended up being fairly reasonable as well. I was just a bit concerned about that as I wasn't told upon dropping them off. I was given the option of how quickly these needed to be turned around. Overall a very good experience. Nothing to do with Herman Jackson's, but parking is always an adventure in San Marco and it would be nice if they had their own parking. It would also be nice to have an idea of what the cost was going to be before leaving the drop off but the fact that it was reasonable more than made up for that. Great place to use of you need a dry cleaner in Jacksonville. I recommend you give them a try.
