I went to Yardhouse to celebrate my birthday with my friend. They do stay open late. However, I would advise against going close to closing. We got there at about 10:15 and were told that there was a 15 min wait. We were texted @ 10:40 to get our table (no biggie!). We sat for another 10 mins waiting for the waitress to arrive but she was MIA. I was trying to order before the kitchen closed so out of desperation I stopped the manager to send us a waitress. By the time she got there we had the whole order ready. After we ordered, she went missing again. There was an issue with one item but she came back too late to correct it. The service was bad but the highlight of everything was the food and the beer. The happy hour prices were great and everything was fresh. I'd go back but maybe earlier in the evening. read more

Nashville Hot Chicken was the king of chicken sandwiches for me and the yard house version was simply delightful. This huge piece of delicious fried chicken was actually hot. The spices blended really nice for a smooth slow burn of flavors. The spiced cabbage was an added treat and the sweetness of the pickles was a great additive! The fries were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Definitely will have another round of this tasty treat next time I'm in the area and you should too! read more

We were so excited when they began building this restaurant last year and now that it's fully open I can say it was worth the wait! We ate here for the first time earlier this month and immediately fell in love. We have eaten here 3 times now this month alone - that's how amazing it is. Everything we have ordered so far has been incredible especially the "Spicy Tuna Stack!" The menu is HUGE and it's incredibly diverse. Not just the same old burger and fry's options. My favorite item so far is their bone in wings which in my opinion is better then ANY wing place in the MD area! Each and every time we have had excellent service. The staff has always been welcoming. The service here is better then even this most upscale restaurants in the area. Heather was our server during our last visit and she was "the bomb.com." We LOVE HEATHER!!!! Food can be great but if the service sucks no one remembers the food only the experience with the service and I'm so glad this place is top notch in EVERY category. Visiting Maryland from New Jersey, my cousin recommended this place for their drinks and good food so we had to visit. Since we visited on a Saturday evening, there was a hour and a half wait in which they text you when your table was ready. Since this location is in the mall, we were able walk around until all the stores closed. Ambiance: Modern sports bar feel. They have every other table blocked off and hand sanitizer as soon as you walk in. There are tables inside and outside of the restaurant (not physically outside) where you can see people walking in the mall. Service: Our waiter immediately came to the table to go over the mini tablet where you can call your waiter, order food/drinks and pay for your bill. Everything went great UNTIL it was time for the food to come out. We were a table of six; my sisters boyfriends entree (steak, mashed potatoes and broccoli rabe) came out first and that was the only thing that came out. After 10 minutes, my appetizer arrived as well as my cousins. Around 15-20 minutes later, our main entrees. Only 3 out of 3 of our main entrees/sides came out. We were missing french fries, tacos and a chicken sandwich. We called our waiter to tell him how the steak entree came out before appetizers and his response was "I put in the appetizers to come out before entrees." Which wasn't true because why did steak come out before apps?? The manager came out minutes later asking us about missing food. We told the manager what was missing and he stated he would get our food out ASAP. From this moment on, the energy from the waiter declined. He didn't stop by our table as much; barely anyone stopped by our table for refills, concerns, etc. No one apologized to us for the wait. After 45 minutes my sisters boyfriend told him he no longer wanted his side of fries because he already finished his entree. A lady came out with a chicken sandwich and my cousin stated she did not want it anymore. The waiter let him know that he can take it home for free. My boyfriends tacos FINALLY came out after almost an hour. 3 small carne asada tacos for $15. The lady admitted that the tacos were sitting in the kitchen for a while and no one picked them up. My cousin asked for the tacos to be taken off of the bill for the long wait. I also want to add that we tried to call the waiter from the mini tablet, which did not work. When we were able to flag him down he said that the button does not work... Basically nothing worked on the mini tablet besides viewing the menu. Even paying for the bill did not work. When the waiter dropped off the check, he just handed it to us and left. We tried to sympathize with him especially during covid but the service was absolutely horrible. Food/Drinks: I have to say, the sunset and sunrise sangria was amazing! I like how the mini tablet shows pictures of the food and drinks. My sister and I ordered the meatless wings smothered with BBQ sauce which were really good! We also ordered the margarita pizza which was okay; it had chunks of garlic on it which I did not like so I picked it off. My cousins boyfriend loved his steak and mashed potatoes. My boyfriends hour long tacos we "OK" put in his own words. My cousins husband and sisters boyfriend ordered the half yard beers which are pretty cool. I think having that option is unique! All in all, my experience was not great but I would visit the Yard House again. The quality of food, drinks and cleanliness won me over just the service wasn't great. read more

Shoutout to our local community heroes! This venue is on point! The food is amazing! The atmosphere chill! And the service is so impressive! It's our first visit, but won't be our last! Endless ice tea was great for our trip around the menu! Giant pretzels with beer cheese and mustard! Really, I loved it on its own, it's that good! We had squeaky cheese curds! Hot chicken and sweet potato pancakes! These were like two chicken breast as big as my hand! The sauce was this spicy honey syrup that would make even my napkin taste good! Yum! The hubby had spicy jambalaya! And that was a teleportation back to his southern roots! So perfectly spiced and cooked! We ordered the Mac and cheese, because why not! I'm such a big fan of this location. I've dined here twice in the last 7 days. I've had the Nashville hot chicken sandwich, and the street tacos. Everyone and everything was amazing. I especially loved our waitress "Gwendolyn!" She is amazing and so full of life. I was tired and just getting of the road from a business trip and she was the life of the party. I ordered the cheese curds for an appetizer and they were sooooooooo good!!! It took me two days to finish them. This location of Yard House has a mall entrance and a street-side entrance. Parking on a Friday and Saturday night (even during COVID) is nightmarish, so park closer to Bass Pro to avoid a headache circling around the lot and creepily following sluggish pedestrians. Yard House is too haughty to do reservations so you have to put your name on a list in person, get a text when your table is almost ready, and get another text when you need to report to the host stand within 5 minutes. We had to wait 45 minutes for a table around 6:15 PM on a Friday night (yesterday). Chevy's directly across from it had a shorter wait so we got pre-dinner $10 mojitos there so suggest doing that to bide your time instead of wandering around the mall. All social distancing, masking, and other guidelines were followed responsibly and per state and county guidelines so you can feel comfortable about dining in here. Yard House has a huge menu of food and beverages and something for everyone, even the pickiest eaters. They have tables, booths, and bar seats. The bar seats are separated in twos with Plexiglas dividers; it really is impressive how businesses have been driven to innovation to ensure guest safety and satisfaction (even if you think COVID and its swift transmission is all a hoax). Our drinks (cocktails, beer, bourbon) were made strong and presented in an appealing manner. The Nashville hot chicken was huge but the skin slid right off like silk sheets off a bed and the bottom bun was soggy eh-eff. The BBQ bacon cheddar burger was juicy, seasoned well, and packed with flavor! The entrees were hot, fresh, well made, big portions, and assembled with high-quality ingredients. Our server was super friendly and even brought out a free dessert to celebrate our special occasion but evidently very busy to do a sufficient number of courtesy checks. Stopped in here last week before seeing a movie at the theater. Of course they are known for having a big selection of beers that changes frequently so I wanted to try a few of those beers. I really hoped to enjoy this place more because of that but the first sense I got from two of the beers I had was that they don't flush the draft lines well because both were a little off tasting. So I wanna say I'm new to the area and I tried this place about 4 times now . My first experience was great !! My second experience was so so because the male bartenders don't seem to cater to females at the bar . I had to wait about 20 minutes to order a drink . I finally got the drink and wings it was a good experience after that . I returned for my third time they say 3 times a charm lol Not the case at all . The wings were cold upon me receiving them , the bartender was not attentive at all . He seem to be ignoring me and my friend to be honest . But, your wait can be done in the presence of your home or car as long as you call at 30 mins prior to arriving. We checked in with our hostess after 30 mins and we got seated pretty quick after that. The restaurant service was great! Our waitress was friendly and put our food orders in right away. I am not a fan of green onions. Not only did she check to make sure I knew an item I ordered had green onions in it, she also came back and ensured I didn't have any allergies to any items or other onions. There's a TV in every direction to catch whatever game is on at the time so you won't miss a thing! Service is great, food is great and for the most part, the staff is pretty friendly. My husband and I came here to begin our date night! Our seating was great and socially distanced, and all workers wore there masks/gloves. Our server, Layne, was spectacular. Layne was always checking on us, brought us our drinks in a timely fashion, was very communicative and friendly, and helped us choose our wine and beer. We ordered Calamari for our appetizer. The Tatar sauce had jalapeños in it and it was so delicious. The breading also was great! For our entrees, we both ordered Baja tacos. I got white fish, and my husband got shrimp. We each ordered one taco "vampire" style. My husband loves the vampire style, but I was not a fan. The sides were rice and beans. The beans were so good. I would say better than the tacos. The rice was okay. Could use more flavor. For our drinks I ordered a glass of mixed red wine and my husband tasted a couple local beers and decided on the Tropicana. We went there on Friday night for a company function, there were about 25 of us or so, some people ordered beers, liquor's appetizers and some food, our friends came in earlier and just got their food, we ordered more at 5:10 PM, at 6 PM, we still don't get the food while we have movie tickets to go to next door at 6 PM, so we asked where our food was, the server apologized and told us that it was delivered to a wrong table, and will bring it asap. So, our company paid the bills, we told him to make food to go because we need to go to the movie, he said yes, at 6:15 PM, the shrimp came but the burger never did at 6:25 PM we left, without our already paid food. It's disappointing, the manager did see us once at 5:15Pm when we just ordered our food. The group was there since 3:15 PM. We understand it's crowded but at least always check if we get our order. The service I received was the best I have experienced in I don't know how long. I am in town for a bot for some classes, I just wanted to have some beer and pizza and I picked the right place. This newly opened Yard House was a fun place to have dinner! I would also give the staff great credit for making us feel safe in a COVID time frame. All staff had masks and hand sanitizer was readily available. Tables are spaced out and wait staff is careful to serve without getting too close to anyone. We enjoyed the ambiance as you can see the beer kegs and pipes to the bar. Huge selection of beers that you can create your own sampler or choose from their list of different flights. We were impressed with the marble slabs that the flights are served on. They are chilled to keep your beer super cold! Food menu is good with a great selection and really good pricing. For a franchise restaurant this is by far the best chain restaurant I've been to. The customer service was on point. Our server, Gwendolyn, was very friendly and attentive. The Poke nachos are the BEST nachos Ive had in my life. Absolutely flavorful and crunchy. They also gave big portions. The calamari was also very good and came in big portions compared to other restaurants. The lobster garlic noodle was AMAZING highly recommend. After a long wait, yard house in Arundel Mills mall is finally open. As one my fav go to restaurant, we gave it a try last week. The foods were delicious as always. The consistency in foods is one of the reasons I love yard house.
