Burger with garlic parm fries
Amber K.

I was so sad when the Yard House closest to me closed, but I happened to be out in Glendale and decided to stop in for a meal. I'm so glad I did! I had to order the Adult Mac & Cheese, and let me tell you--it never disappoints. This dish is the definition of comfort food. The creamy cheese sauce, earthy mushrooms, and rich truffle flavor are always perfectly balanced. It's one of those meals I can count on being consistently delicious every single time. My husband ordered one of their burgers and upgraded his fries to the Garlic Parmesan Fries. If you're a garlic lover, I highly recommend making that upgrade. The garlic flavor is bold and intense in the best way possible. It's great to know this location delivers the same quality and consistency as every other Yard House I've visited. Even though the restaurant was extremely busy, the staff worked hard to keep up with everyone and still provided friendly, attentive service. If you're looking for consistently great food with a menu that has something for everyone, this Yard House is definitely worth a visit!

Yard House was busy because of a concert (Florence&The Machine) but overall still a good experience. We checked in around 6:30 and got seated about 7:30, so we grabbed drinks at Carousel and walked around while we waited. Clean bathrooms, good atmosphere, and our waiter Ed was friendly and attentive. He let us sample a few beers before ordering. The poke nachos were sooo good, and the spicy beef noodles, double pepper jack burger, and espresso martini were all solid too. Hard to choose when there's a big menu! Noodles were giving Trader Joe's frozen find but delicious. Nonetheless. Espresso martini hit the spot. Burger was juicy but 3 pickle slices aren't enough. Also my boyfriend water cup was dirty as hell. Waiter was understanding tho and got us a replacement no problem. Love Yard house!

Fantastic time for a pre-concert dinner. Ernestine took amazing care of us. She was attentive, friendly and labeled all our leftover boxes. We had a variety of things; the crispy brussel sprouts were super tasty, the firecracker shrimp were perfectly cooked and the kurobuta pork burger was to die for. The blueberry ketchup and the spicy candied bacon are a tasty combo.

I won't be returning to this restaurant- but it's related to parking- not the restaurant. We visited this week and upon entering the parking lot, we were told that there were graduation ceremonies at the location, so a parking fee was in place. We were reassured that if we stayed less than 2 hours, the fee wouldn't be charged. The parking attendant also told us that Yardhouse would 'validate ' the parking. The hostess at Yardhouse said there is no validation. Dee was our server and was fabulous. We only stayed one hour. The food and service was great. It's just beyond frustrating to contest parking fee.

Love their happy hour, many choices and the pricing just amazing. The last time I went to Yard House was about two years ago in SoCal. The happy hour is great, though the food is around a 2.5 out of 5. I got the calamari from the happy hour menu--it would've been better if it came out hot. The fried cheese curds were not bad; my friend asked for caramel on the side, which was surprisingly good and paired really well. The chicken nachos were big but just ehh. (And they don't have salsa ?!) The buffalo chicken pizza was also okay and so were the boneless wings. We had a party of 10, and there were plenty of open seats, but they may have been understaffed. We waited about 35 minutes or so. (Went on a Wed at 4:30pm) Our server was great! He kept checking on us, was pretty quick with everything, and didn't forget anything.

Right before turning around and noticing "Yard House"!

I was visiting Phoenix for my first time and I stumbled upon "Yard House" in Glendale. I now found out that it's a chain. We have one here in the Bay Area close to me (The Veranda, Concord). Since it was my first time experiencing this wonderful establishment. Upon entry we were full of joy! The welcoming from the greeters was cheerful and exciting. I glanced and noticed the huge bar shaped in a oval fashion, with 300 beers on tap to choose from! We were then greeted by our server where she guided us to our table. I glanced at the menu and found an array of heathy and protein focused meals to chose from. I felt like little kid in a candy store. The waitress was outstanding. She went above and beyond in order to make our experience joyful. We ordered, conversed for a few and glanced around noticing the mellow vibe of big parties, as well as small ones, like our own. Then voila! The food arrived piping hot, as the mouthwatering smoke of plates flowed suit. The food was top notch. You couldn't tell this place is a chain. As each dish is meticulously put together by the in house chefs. Now that I'm back home in the San Francisco Bay Area. I will make sure I return, for that blissful Yard House experience!

Devon our server was fabulous! Typical Yard House noise level. Very busy during happy hour and then slowed down. Food was good but salty. We started with the poke nachos- one of our favorites. Then I ordered the crunchy blackened ahi tuna salad small. Very good. My husband had the chicken avocado sandwich with truffle fries - extremely salty. Food was good and service was great.

Monty was the best server I have ever had good job Monty he is on top of his game! Food is good and the lighting is a little dark but it's okay.

Not our first time at the Yard House but need to provide my review from today's visit. Great music and TVs galore! Soccer time Sierra was our server, she is so kind and professional. Love how she joined in with our conversations and shared her experiences as well. She's so cool! We tried a couple samples of the draft beer and both landed on Church Music Shared the awesome Spicy Tuna stack with the yummy fried wontons. Both of us had the fish tacos...soooo good! Will definitely be back This place Rocks! Thank you Sierra and Yard House :-)

Even though I live right next to a Yard House in Los Angeles, I wanted to to sit down and eat near a washroom and stretch my legs before the 5 1/2 hour drive so I said screw it and visited this location near the stadium before leaving Phoenix on Tuesday. This place is absolutely massive in size, had an insane amount of seating, and was absolutely packed for a Tuesday afternoon. I entered alone and was seated right away. The waitress I had was super friendly, attentive, and took care of me at the speed of light. I ended up ordering the "Everything-Crusted" Ahi Tuna burger with a side of French fries, which is actually something I've never had before. The food came out super quick and I was very surprised with how much I enjoyed it. The fish had so much flavour and the crusty edges tasted very, very good. The French fries were pretty standard "burger and fries" style fries, but were hot and tasted very good when dipped in some ketchup. Overall, Yard House definitely exceeded my expectations and I'll absolutely be checking out the LA location in DTLA very soon to show my wife. The food was good, the place looked cool, and the service was great as well. I can definitely see this being a great place for food before or after a game!

Poke Nachos

I always tell everyone that Yard House has the best happy hours, especially when it comes to food! So many appetizers are half off, and there's truly something for everyone. I don't drink, but I still love happy hour when the menu is this good. I had a Topo Chico mocktail that was super refreshing, and the poke nachos were really tasty. Service is always fast and very friendly, and I really like the ambience -- it strikes a perfect balance. It's not too casual, but it's also not so fancy that I can't just stop by after work in my work clothes with some coworkers. Definitely a spot I'll keep coming back to!

My wife and I met friends as we were passing through Glendale. This was a great spot to stop! Our service was top-notch, even though there was a change of shift in our meal. They did not skip a beat! The buffalo chicken pizza, and my bacon blue cheeseburger was absolutely delicious! Your house continues to be a solid performer with no expectations! You can't beat their beer list either!

I want to start off by saying Dee was an absolutely amazing waitress. She was on it all night even though it was a Saturday night. The food was really great from the Spicy Jambalaya to my stack. And can't forget about the little 32oz draft beers . I loved that we never felt rush to leave even though they closed at 1:30am and it was 1:15am when we left.

That itself was super fun as I met and partied with a bunch of people from Washington state who traveled for the game or who originally are from Washington and now live in Arizona. So you can only imagine the good vibes. Grateful for Lazy Bird to host the tailgate as there was a DJ, Seahawks food and drink specials, swag and a special appearance from Bruce Irvin! The food though was A-OK. I wouldn't come back here if there wasn't a Seahawks tailgate party as I thought for the price, the food was mid. I ordered a spicy caesar salad and we shared a charcuterie board, which was fine. I was most disappointed with the spicy caesar salad as the salad was not at all spicy, and I even asked the server about it. It tasted like a basic caesar salad and the chicken was dry, which of course, was an additional charge to add meat. The charcuterie board was better, so was good for sharing. But it was over $20 for non-specialty cheeses. Lazy Bird is located in a shopping center area, and not far off the highway. The location is good, with lots of parking and walkable to other businesses. But I can't say I'd willingly come back on my own. Not bad, but not somewhere I'd spend time in when visiting Arizona.

But I was genuinely surprised by how great the entire experience turned out to be. From the moment we walked in, the service was exceptional. The owner even came by our table to talk with us about the restaurant, their values, and the care they put into making everything from scratch. That personal touch, along with a complimentary dessert, really made the experience memorable. The food was outstanding. The chicharrones were perfectly crunchy and seasoned with just the right amount of salt. The salsa tasted incredibly fresh and paired well with everything on the table. The carne asada was cooked beautifully, developing a flavorful crust from the Maillard reaction, which gave it that rich, savory, slightly crisp exterior while keeping the inside tender and juicy. Overall, this was one of those restaurants that completely exceeded my expectations. The following is how I rate each experience from 1 to 5 with 1 being awful and not recommended to 5 being outstanding and you've got to try this place. 1. The greeting: Was worm and immediate. We were seated quickly in a booth of our choosing. 2. Atmosphere / Vibe: When you enter any establishment and it is loaded with Seniors, you know that it is a winner. It was packed with a combination of age groups, but Seniors dominated the demographic. 3. Menu: Breakfast (All day), lunch and dinner. Lots to choose from. Easy to modify any order. 4. Service: Outstanding. Nichole (pictured) was our server. She is obviously a consummate professional who is well fitted for this profession. 5. Food prep & Presentation: Food was served in a timely manner and was hot (not from sitting under a heat lamp). The vegie omelet was packed with fresh veggies and cooked to perfection. Hash browns were crunchy and not greasy. Pancakes were fluffy and full of flavor. The pork tenderloin was perfectly cooked. The bun was fresh and not chewy like you get in so many places. The condiments were fresh and not wilted. Onion rings and fries were hot and crispy. Cold slaw was sweet and savory. Coffee was fresh and robust. The presentation left no room on the plate for anything else. 6. Price Point: Excellent value for the portions. If you don't take home a doggy bag, you may have a tapeworm. LOL.

The patio is shaded and they have very powerful misters, which made the Arizona heat much more comfortable. I did notice that a few of the tables toward the edge of the patio were wet from the misting system, though. The restaurant was extremely busy, so the service was on the slower side. The staff was friendly and working hard, but it definitely felt like they could use a few more people during peak brunch hours. The menu is fantastic. There are so many great options that I honestly had a hard time deciding what to order. I chose the red chicken chilaquiles. The tortilla chips had a great texture, but by the time they reached the table they had absorbed almost all of the sauce. I'm not sure if that's just their style of chilaquiles or if my plate had been sitting in the kitchen for a bit. The red sauce itself was good, but it tasted more tomato-forward than the traditional red chile flavor I usually expect from chilaquiles. The matcha was to sweet and creamy: not of my liking. It didn't taste like matcha. The matcha pancakes were good. The atmosphere is definitely part of the experience. They had a DJ playing music, giving the restaurant more of a fun nightclub vibe than a typical breakfast spot. It was unexpected, but I actually enjoyed it. They also have an impressive Bloody Mary bar with lots of toppings and garnishes. The only thing that gave me pause was that the topping containers are open and located right by the entrance, which made me wonder how much dust or debris they might be exposed to throughout the day. One thing to be aware of is that there was an additional service charge added to the bill, which may be related to paying with a credit card. The manager was very nice and attentive. The server was ok and the hostess could be more friendly. Parking lot is limited Overall, Hash Kitchen is a fun brunch spot with a lively atmosphere, a menu full of tempting choices, and food I'd happily come back to try again. I just wish the service moved a little faster during the busy brunch hours and that a couple of the small details were improved.
