This is a great restaurant in its category. Meaning, Suburban restaurants with 100+ seats. I ordered the lobster garlic noodles - based on some other Yelp reviews- and they came out quick and hot. The portion size was huge with a generous amount of lobster and shrimp. I couldn't eat it all and left some noodles in the bowl. I was hungry and it tasted pretty darn good. The people to my right at the bar were very much enjoying their cocktails and appetizers, and they even engaged me in friendly conversation. Which I can appreciate as a solo diner in a society that can be oblivious. The ambience here was nice with indoor outdoor seating and plenty of TV's to entertain but with no volume on. I stopped by the Yard House today specifically because I saw a photo posted by the business owner of the lobster garlic noodles, and it looked incredible, loaded with lobster and very appealing. I sat at the bar, had great service, and the cocktails were excellent. When the lobster garlic noodles arrived, the flavor itself was actually delicious. However, the dish looked nothing like the photo that drew me in. Mine had maybe two pieces of lobster and probably less than 40% of what was shown in the advertised picture. It honestly felt very misleading and disappointing considering the expectation set by the restaurant's own photos. Great atmosphere, drinks, and service, but the presentation and portion of the lobster in the actual dish did not match what was advertised. read more

Joan and Sean were both Delightful. This yard house seems a bit Smaller than the rest but it was a packed house on Friday afternoon. The food was hot and fresh, service was awesome and love The online waitlist. They are still new so drinks might come a bit slower as they seem to be going their routine down. Had a great meal with great service! We got the Shiitake garlic noodles as an appetizer, but the size was more like entree. The tacos were delicious; the vampire carnitas taco was unexpectedly delightful, and the beer-battered fish taco was wonderfully crunchy balanced well with the slaw and guac. The filet was cooked perfectly; a cut off the edge showed a perfectly reddish pink. The interior has plenty of TV monitors showing a variety of sports. They also have a view of the central plaza which will be lit up and spirited come holiday season, so a seat in their patio section will still be part of the festivities. The service was excellent as the training of staff has been very detailed. I loved that our waitress checked in on us immediately after our food came out allowing the opportunity for corrections or additions. Mohammed and the server in training (didn't catch her name sorry!!) were great. I've been to other locations before but they offered great insight on the menu options. We ordered the poke nachos, cali roll stack and 2 lavender drops. My friend wasn't a huge fan of the drink and Mohammed offered to get it taken off the check and swapped her drink out, thank you! The poke nachos are my favorite item here and their happy hour menu is a great deal. This location is a bit smaller and minimal compared to DOCO and Roseville but I'm glad we have one out in Folsom now. read more

Came here for my husband and I's anniversary dinner! We've always wanted to try Yard House so thought it was the perfect spot for a nice dinner. We went to the Folsom location which opened not too long ago. We went on a Friday night and made sure to make it just in time for happy hour! They had pretty solid deals for their happy hour such as half off apps and beers! I also had a coupon for a free appetizer from signing up on the app! Since it was our first time coming here, we didn't know what to expect except the fact that we knew it would be busy on a Friday night! We've always walked by Yard House since it opened in Folsom and it was always so packed. Luckily we checked in and were told it would be a 25min wait so it wasn't so bad! We were seated at a menu and were given menus but you are able to order the apps and drinks on their table tablets that they have at every table. We ended up ordering our happy hour apps and drinks 10min before happy hour ended at 6pm so just in time! We ordered Queso Dip, Nachos, and Cheese Curds for our apps. Then for drinks, I ordered a Sunset Sangria and Kish & Tell cocktails while my husband ordered a a Pale Ale beer and a flight of beer that came with 6 mini glasses of different beers! Then for our entrees, he got the Ahi Crunchy Salad and I got the Maui Pineapple Chicken. For it being our first time, we didn't expect that it would be a lot of food especially with the portion size of the appetizers! If we knew how big the portions were for the appetizers, we probably wouldn't have ordered 3 appetizers LOL. Regardless, everything was delicious and we were so full afterwards that we had to do a good long walk around the shopping plaza to walk it all off. I came here to try their happy hour menu, which happens Monday-Friday 3-6pm. Selected appetizers are half off, including $2 off draft beer, wine, spirit, and cocktails. I ordered the poke nachos and the chicken tenders. My bill came out to $18 for both items. This is a great deal as the portions are huge. I liked the poke nachos a lot, all the flavor and ingredients do well together. The only thing I would nitpick about it is that it doesn't look exactly like the picture where there is more tuna, but then again, it is happy hour so I can't complain. It is still a great deal. The chicken tenders came with A LOT of tenders, however, it was a little bit dry and bland for my liking. My server was Hudson, and he was very nice and attentive, especially since I was only dining in for one person. I will come back again to try their other items. read more

3/4/2026 - Folsom I had an enjoyable lunch at the Yard House in the Palladio Shopping Center. It was a little tricky to find at first since my GPS said I had "arrived," but I didn't immediately see the restaurant. I parked in the covered garage near the movie theater, checked the directory, and found it from there. Once inside, I was greeted right away and our server, Raeef, was friendly and attentive. I ordered a glass of Chalk Hill Chardonnay, but they were out (a bit surprising since they've only been open about a month), so I chose the Kendall Jackson chardonnay ($10.99) instead. I had the two taco combo for lunch (without rice and beans). I chose the Vampire Carnitas taco (cheese-crusted flour tortilla, carnitas, bacon, garlic, guacamole, salsa roja, sour cream, $7.49) and the Cumin Chili Shrimp taco (flour tortilla, grilled shrimp, jack cheese, green sauce, crunchy tortilla strips, sour cream, guacamole, parmesan, cilantro, $6.99). had the pleasure of coming in here I was a little worried since mostly every yard house I've been into especially in the doco had been ran down and the food is nasty.. I was in the area so I decided to give it a try very clean as it's very new. Nice ambience. I had the pleasure of having Gigi my server. She was absolutely amazing and helped me decide what I wanted to eat. I will say the spinach dip was a little too milky for my. Liking but I do hope that this place stays clean and doesn't eventually turn into a spot where no one wants to go. My son had a steak and fries which is a new addition to the kids menu. He absolutely loved it..! Gigi did an amazing job although I think that she was the only server for a while and had a lot of tables. Where to start.... This was my first time at Yard House. We came on Valentines night and there was about an hour/ hour half wait time they said so we signed up for the waitlist and walked around the Palladio but honestly we were called in in like 15 minutes. Ella Joy was our server and Im so glad it was her who was with us for our experience, she was the sweetest, friendliest most caring server I have ever had!!! Are you kidding, we told her we were feeling lonely on valentines so every time she walked to our table she would bring us a little goodie as you see in the photos .... This was truly the above and beyond they talk about. If you have her as your server then you know you're in good hands. Food was also delicioussssss we got the Poke Nachos and Cali Roll Stack and my gosh sooo freakin good as you can see in the photos the plates were wiped cleannn. The drinks were also a 10/10 both super dangerous how good tasting they were. Ambiance is great, even tho its a pretty big place the noise volume wasn't bad including the music playing in the background as well. if your partner loves sports and you love a good drink with a smacking app, this place is IT. Been waiting for this location to open for months! They did an extensive remodel and it is exactly what you would expect from Yard House if you have been to any of their other locations. They have only been open 2 days and service at the bar was good considering. They have lots of staff and supervisors ensuring a good experience. Food came out quickly and appetizers were delicious. Lunch with friends, first time at the Folsom YH. Great location, though parking is challenging, the lack of! The ambiance was enjoyable, I prefer this location to the Roseville location, much brighter and welcoming. The food was way better too!! Brussels Sprouts appetizer was FABULOUS! Our meals were amazing, chicken pancake meal was superb, steak bowl was fresh and tasty and they know how to do a decent burger!! Now let me tell you about our server, Pedro. Visited the new Yard House in Folsom for its opening day on Super Bowl Sunday, and it did not disappoint. Despite the big game-day crowd, the environment was high-energy and the service was top-notch. Our server, Ella Joy, was fantastic--super attentive and professional, even with the opening-day rush. Very busy and really noisy inside. The new Yard House is a fun and popular restaurant. On the positive side, hosts and servers are friendly and they are crazy busy. It's a large place so they can accommodate a lot of people. My brother and I ordered the garlic lobster noodles, a couple salads and a couple beers. The dish was good - but not great. He felt it needed more garlic and I felt it was too oily. It was an ample portion. The salads were delicious and were also generous. The beers were great and we were allowed a tasting prior to making a decision. Food came out more quickly than we expected and all at once. The restaurant was super loud, so definitely not date night material. It was also super cold, to a degree I was uncomfortable. I think they said they have 92 beers on tap, so that's a huge plus! It was not an inexpensive evening by any means and while enjoyable, I'm not sure it was worth it. read more

I went here for my birthday yesterday for lunch. I ordered the jambalaya. It was good but it could have used more sauce. The brussel sprouts appetizer was fire. I recommend it. My sister order the taco trio. She liked it. Mom ordered the bacon bleu burger. She liked it as well. I was surprised at the end with a delicious slice of warm brownie Oreo cookie dessert with ice cream and a candle! That made my day. And the best part was our sever was kind and attentive. We went with friends for Happy Hour. We sat in a very roomy booth. The noise level is high. I imagine it may be noisier at the bar and the middle of the restaurant. Our server greeted us in a timely fashion and took our drink orders. The Happy Hour menu is pretty extensive with great food, beer and cocktail choices. We ordered 6 of their Happy Hour food items. Our drinks came out in good time. We were amazed at how fast the food came out. The cocktails and beer were great! The Happy Hour food is bar food. It was good and we will definitely go back but don't expect gourmet, 5 star food. There is a great vibe, great bar, great monitors for watching sports and great, friendly, attentive staff! Our neighbor raved about the great happy hour at Yard House so we decided to try it. It did not disappoint. We had a wonderful waiter, Christian, who was attentive but not hovering. We had three appetizers, Margherita pizza, The Carnivore pizza and Chicken Nachos. All three were delicious and more than enough for three of us. I saw that a new Yard House location had opened up here and I was so excited to sit for happy hour. I had my dog with me and saw they had a patio and it looked perfect. I went up to a waiter at the patio and asked if I could sit on the patio with my dog and he said yes. Multiple waiters came up to pet my dog and I made sure that they allowed dogs on the patio and he said yes as long as they are well behaved and I said great I will come back with my purse and my id to get a beer. When I came back I was rudely denied a table by the hostess after I had asked if I could sit with my dog on the patio. Her and another hostess said they only allow service animals and I was very upset. It would have been fine if they had told me that upfront and I would have gone elsewhere, but the fact that I went all the way back to my car to get my id and came all the way back just to be denied was infuriating. Why have a patio if you can't bring dogs. I literally had multiple waiters petting my dog before I went back to my car and none of them said actually it's only service animals. Do not bring your pets here because you will be rudely denied like I was today. I expected more from yard house since I have had so many positive experiences, this was very disappointing and misleading. read more

We have gone to several Yard houses so we are aware the noise level can be high. The reason for the 3 stars was the food. The cheese curds should have been cooked longer; they were doughy. The Vodka Penne was dry and lacked flavor. And the BBQ chicken salad was too heavy on the BBQ sauce. However, we are huge fans of Yardhouse so we will return. Great ambiance, the paintings and interior and beer options are top tier 10/10. The servers are a little unfriendly and keep pressuring you to order more drinks. Multiple times I had to decline another beer so that was a little annoying. But overall very attentive servers and hostessess. Definitely always ask for a booth. I went in last weekend while I was in the area for work and sat at the bar. I went in with intentions of having a quick drink and ended up staying there for hours lol.. the bartender Jovert I believe his name was, was the best! Best hospitality and customer service. He got me to try a few things I initially didn't care for and ended up loving. (I'm picky and usually stick to my usuals) moving forward, I'll be more open minded with my taste buds as his recommendations did not disappoint!
