I had called ahead to make a quick reservation, but they don't accept them for parties of 7 or less which I Totally understand! So my party of 5 and I showed up at 7:45pm on a Thursday night and were told it was going to be about a 35 minute wait. Not a problem; it was nice outside so we waited in great anticipation to try there what looked to be an impressive menue . waited as people who came after us were getting seated, and as tables were getting split into two tables to seat smaller parties. So we went inside to check. The very RUDE and hostile host gave us an attitude and argued with us about what he had told us for our wait time, 'I said 45-60 minutes ! But it will be at least another 10 minutes' Okay. 15 minutes passes and nothing, 20 and still nothing, and NOW we are the only people waiting outside when we were originally amongst 25 plus people waiting. So after an hour and 35 minutes of waiting around , we went to hand in our pager. The host (was still rude) but the manager tried to get us to stay but to be honest, we did not want to give them our hard earned money because of how we were treated during the stressful waiting process Guess I dont have to say this but we will never be visiting them again ! read more

Bomb @$$ turkey burger- best I've ever had. Cold brews & great ambiance- candle at the table wasn't lit but I was able to get past that, mad decent bro. read more

The ambiance is nice, but the food was terrible. Worst margherita pizza I've ever had, Caesar salad was subpar. The pizza had full sized garlics on it, it wasn't cooked well and did not taste good. Fries and dessert were good but the food left my friend and I feeling very sick afterward. Not sure if this was just a bad night, but really disappointing. read more

This is a great spot to grab lunch/dinner especially on weekends at the massive bar with some friends.

Awful for celebrating special occasions such as birthdays, etc. Highly recommend going elsewhere.

Food was excellent. Street tacos and tuna nachos were awesome. We also had pizzas, wings and steak, all good. Service was very good, and extremely accommodating to vegan options read more

Great food. Espiecally love their pretzels! Loved that we could check in online and get a table instantly.

Every thing was delicious, six of us got completely different entrees and they were all great. Our server was new Ryan and catered to us all night. Dessert is huge so share or you'll be bring some home. The only down side was we were on top of the kitchen. No table should be that close to the working. We'll be back read more

We sat at the bar the serves was terrible.. The bartenders were not very pleasant. It was like you where bothering them no smile.........The couple on both sides of me felt the same. I will not go back read more

I have to give 1 star because I have eaten there previously and it was very good. This time I called at 11:00 AM to make reservations for a party of 18 for 6:00 and was politely told that they can't accommodate a party that large at that time. I was told to come in at 5:30 to put my name on a wait list and we may be seated by 7:00. When I asked about coming in and putting my name on a list at say 4:00 to ensure we would be seated at say 6:00 the GM said he couldn't guarantee a seating for that many people together. This place is very large and I would think that if they spent a little time in rearranging table configurations they would not have to turn away our party and the $600-$1000 in food and drinks that we would have spent. read more

Onion rings, gardein MAC & Cheese are my absolute go-to here. Thankfully I hit the gym today so I don't feel as bad lol. Goes without saying, this place never disappoints read more

Walked in here for lunch early on Saturday and asked for a booth. I was told that as a party of one, I couldn't have a booth. Really? If it was a Saturday night at 7:00, sure, I would totally understand. But it was Saturday morning at 11:20 and the place was EMPTY. It was rude and humiliating. And also really stupid on the part of the "host" (what a misnomer that is!) since the reason I wanted to have lunch there was to check it out as a possibility for 5 large gatherings I have coming up, where I'll need a decent place for 8-10 people to have some drinks and a nice meal. Obviously I will be looking elsewhere! So congratulations, you preserved a precious booth in an empty restaurant, and got to feel very important by making someone dining alone feel small, but you lost out on $2k in sales. read more

I have been to this Yardhouse location, many times, usually once a week. I came in on July 27th with my girlfriend for a casual business meeting with some colleagues. We like coming to this location because it is close to work, and my girlfriend used to work here, so there are plenty of familiar faces! Upon sitting down we were greeted by a trainee that asked us for our ID's. We are all under the age of 25, with out of state IDs. The Trainee who has never met us before gave our ID's to her trainer, Zach, who recognized us--specifically my girlfriend, as his old co-worker. He said he needed to verify our IDs, as they were all out of state. The restaurant manager whose name is Megan, came out and advised us that my girlfriend's ID was unacceptable--unless she had additional proof of identification, which she did not. You could tell she was overly zealous and eager to deliver some bad news--she had a bad attitude. She implied that my girlfriend had a fake ID, however she also recognized her as a previous employee. So how does Yardhouse justifying refusing her a drink, when she is a PREVIOUS employee of Yardhouse AND management, AND the trainer recognized her? They also didn't ask me our our guests, to show additional proof of identification, even though all of us were under 25, and had out of state, Maine ID's--just like my girlfriend. I feel like she was singled out, almost like the manager had a personal vendetta against her. Not to mention it was embarrassing, and humiliating. This seems like a move that a low end corporate restaurant would make....not to mention that the "General Manager" was extremely unprofessional with how she delivered the news, and showed zero signs of being apologetic. I would advise Yardhouse & Darden's look into some new management, as I work in this industry, and understand the concept of being diplomatic when delivering unexpected news. Good work folks, she has been 21, for 21 years. read more

This is a good place to go for drinks, apps., and comfort food. The beer list is excellent, and as mentioned above, the servers appear to be knowledgeable enough to help you navigate the extensive menu. They offer 116 different beers in 130 taps. It's pretty difficult not to find something that you like. One nice wrinkle - you can buy 3 oz. samplers of most beers for $1. This allows for some experimentation with the extensive beer list. You want to make the right decision before doubling down on a 32 ounce half yard. I didn't have an issue with prices. Someone above complained about an $11 cheeseburger and mentioned that a $26 steak would drive them to Capital Grille. Good luck finding a steak for that price at CG. Most, if not all, of the steaks at CG are $40 and up. Like it or not, $26 is a fair price for this type of restaurant. Good ingredients cost money, and it appears that the Yard House has tried to find some balance between quality and price. Not for nothing, but the prices appear to be in line with other restaurants in Legacy Place serving similar quality food. Agree with most of the reviewers above - the food is decent pub food, not outstanding. Still, the beer is what makes this place worth its weight in gold. A fabulous place to down a few before a movie, or to watch a game on one of the dozens of big tvs. read more

I wen to the Yardhouse Saturday night for the Celtics. Initially told the wait would be between 1-1.5 hours. We got buzzed in about 45 minutes. We had a server named Tim, who was fantastic. He really helped make the experience good. The food was okay, I had the avocado and swiss burger and my g.f. had the fish and chips. The beer selection is fantastic, with over 100 on tap. They have a "six-pack" sampler, which is a 5oz sample of six beers. They six-pack changes every Tuesday. They give you a print-out of the beers on the sampler with a description and lsiting of the alcohol content, which is very convenient. Its not a bad deal for $8.95. I will go back again and if you have to wait, you can always walk around legacy place. They give you a buzzer and there is a lot fo store to check out ni the area. read more

ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE! I am a mother of three and we brought our children early (5:30), thinking it might be more family friendly at that time...I have been there for drinks with friends during the day and it was fine...for drinks. The place was SO loud that we could not even hear our children speaking to us. The food was DISGUSTING. NONE of my children would eat their dinner and what kids won't eat chicken fingers, pizza, and hot dogs? My husband had ribs that were tougher than shoe leather and the lettuce cups sat in a POOL of grease and inside a fried wonton bowl. Just greasy and vile. The food at BeGood is a million times better. We eat in bar atmosphere's all the time with our kids (ie, The Biltmore in Newton, Joe's) and all have been so kid friendly and the food decent. Stay away if you have kids, care about your hearing, and value edible food! read more

*the "hour/90 minute" wait turned into well over 2 hours because our buzzer was broken!! longest/hungriest wait EVER! *the hostess, upon finding out our buzzer had been broken, said it was not her fault that it was broken and did nothing to make it up to us.... um sorry but it's not our fault either!! A free beer would have been lovely. *once seated the food took FOREVER --- it even took forever for the waiter to bring us a beer! understaffed? maybe it was because the place was pretty new and crowded *food was good but nothing special. good variety. *beer selection was okay, not as impressive as they make it out to be (no purple haze?!) aside from all the negatives it seems like it might be a good place to have a few beers if you are in the dedham area. not worth the trip if you aren't in the area. read more

Amazing beer selection, good food with a ton of veg options.

I've been here a few times and each time was just great! I've gone on the weekend, so the wait time is usually about 30 minutes, but it's well worth it. It's located right next to the Showcase Cinema De Lux, so perfect to grab a bite to eat before or after seeing a movie. My favorite mixed drink would be the "Cherry Limeaid" .. Delicious! Entree: Turkey Burger sliders. Dessert: Freshly baked hot brownie topped with a scoop of ice cream and hot fudge & there is enough of it to share with a date or friends! read more

The good was fabulous! I had the Gardein Wings and they were even better the next afternoon! I am going back.

Fantastic food and the bar can't be beat! Looking forward to trying the Fenway location. I eat here often and my only complaint is the high employee turnover. Seems like I get a new trainee every other time I go. Overall they do a nice job though. Burgers are fantastic especially the Gorgonzola Burger, I highly reccomend it! read more

I like to sit at the bar and dine/drink. The food is always good. The bartenders are on/off, but I am able to flag down the server to get service if needed. There is a lot of background noise so if you are looking for an intimate encounter or a quiet setting - not this place. I also enjoy sitting on the patio when the weather permits. Never feel rushed. read more

After hearing some great reviews about Yard House, my husband and I decided to finally try it on Saturday. We arrived around 9 and were told it would be a 25 minute wait. To our liking our buzzer went off only about 10 minutes later and we were seated. Our waiter wasn't very friendly, but it was packed and we decided to chalk that up to it being busy. My cesar salad wasn't anything special, the dressing was very watery. My husband ordered the egg rolls and loved them. For dinner I ordered the Rib Eye, my absolute favorite cut of meat. I opted to get steamed spinach instead of broccoli for my side. Unfortunately when it arrived it was in this gross black water. I understand steamed spinach will always be served in some sort of water, but its usually bright green and flavorless. The black water really grossed me out so I put the spinach to the side and ate my steak and mashed potatoes instead. The steak was wonderful, cooked to perfection! A bit charred on the outside yet still medium in the middle. The mashed potatoes were creamy and perfectly seasoned, next time I think I'll have double mashed with my steak! My husband ordered Mac and Cheese with chicken. He loved it! I tried a bite and it was fabulous! We'll definitely be back! read more

See all

The only good thing about yard house are their beers and appetizers. The entrees here were a bit on the disappointing side. I ordered the Mediterranean seared scallops and I felt like I was just eating sand instead of scallops. A lot of sand. The side of rice that came with it was okay. A bit too sour, but it was okay. My friends said their burgers were just okay, definitely had better else where. If I ever come back, I'll only come back for their appetizers and beers. read more

2nd and Last Time. We went to the Yard House a couple of months ago when they had the Turkey Pot Pie and it was AMAZING. However, when we went there this past weekend for the Turkey Pot Pie - they no longer serve it - BUMMER :( :( So we ordered: - BBQ Bacon Cheddar Burger - all right - had better at Wild Wily's for cheaper. - Clam Chowder - there was a hint of spice which wasn't appealing to me. - Seared Scallops with Steamed Vegetables - I could've made better. All it was was a 6-pieces of "dry" pan fried scallops with NO seasoning or flavors. I asked for steamed - they gave me oily stir fried vegetables. The waiter was not bad but he kept forgeting stuff - we had to keep getting his attention and requesting the same stuff. ie: extra napkins, ketchup, drink refills, etc... This will definitely be the last time. read more

Are you kidding me? This place is an over sized pub chain. Basic to low quality food. Loud! Place to have a beer, but for lunch or diner...I don't get the appeal. Big beer selection but they only sell 10 % of them enough To keep them fresh Way better options in legacy. read more

Depending on the dish, food can be really tasty. I suggest the grilled cheese and tomato bisque as well as their pork belly street tacos and Thai chicken & noodle salad. Beer selection is really good. Service can be underwhelming and distant. Gets crazy busy on weekend night. read more

The food was good. Had a BBQ burger done right with the sweet potato fries!!! There was a wait for the table initiall was suppose to be an hour but they didn't give us a pager so I had to go back over to find out how long, after an hour and half we finally got seated. Are first server went on break half we through are meal. The second server then asked for are ID again when we all want more drinks. Never been to a placed where you have to show your ID so much. read more

Went for a holiday lunch with co-workers in Dec and it was a little chaotic. However, the food was great. Went back again with family & kids and had a great experience. The food was delicious and the value can't be beat since it was during Happy Hour. The portions were spot on and we had left overs. The staff were very friendly and kept checking up on us, manager too. We will definately be back! read more

I really enjoy coming to this Yard House location. A friend and I frequent this location. Our favorites? ...the pomogranate margaritas and chicken nachos. The best is when we make it in time for half priced apps! Location is convenient, right off the highway, however, you couldn't pay me to visit Legacy Place on a weekend! Parking can be a nightmare! Service is always prompt and genuine, unlike their Fenway location (where you'll wait 20 minutes for a beverage from the bar!) The only reason why I do not review with 5 stars is their menu could use more options. I hate being that person who always orders off the app menu!! But the entrees tend not "WOW" me. Keep up the good work Dedham!! read more

If the truffle fries weren't so good I'd give this place 2 stars. The food is average at best. If it comes out warm on a busy Sat night you're lucky. The beer selection is great but the service is not. read more

Until today, I would have given the Yardhouse 5 stars. I've been there a few times now. Food has always been great and they have a fantastic beer selection. Prices are very reasonable on top of it all. However, I called today to make a reservation for my fiancee's birthday. He really wanted to go to the Yardhouse because he's a big beer guy, and loves the selection there. We were promptly told "no reservations." No ifs, ands, or buts. If it was just for a few people, totally understand, but we have a party of 15, and there is no way we are going to go and wait somewhere without a reservation. They were not even a little flexible. If they asked me to call ahead the day of, I would have taken that. But as much as I love it there, they just lost my business. read more

The staff/food/service is GREAT here! I would HIGHLY recommend this place. The drinks/beer are also amazing. I had a Long Island Iced Tea to start, & I think for the first time in my life - I got a buzz off of it. Most places water down mixed drinks, but this place does not. I feel like a clown saying something bad about this place - but the only thing negative was it gets really loud. Maybe its because we went right at dinner time - but from the music to the patrons - it gets loud at times. Otherwise its GREAT! read more

I loved coming here the last time I went here before Wednesday was 2 years ago which wasn't the best experience. But on Wednesday May 28, I had the most amazing time and I will be coming back soon and hoping that I have the same experience. My server (Greg) was so amazingly kind, and really made a connection with us as we dined there. He was willing to help us with everything we needed and was so prepared. He is the main reason I am giving 5 stars. The food was alright, but I love their fries. I would recommend coming here, but make sure you ask for Greg ;) He truly is an amazing server and a great person. read more

Unbelievable selection of draft beers- 120!!! Great sampler six packs! Ordered a BBQ bacon burger- what your expect, defiantly great but nothing extraordinary- still very good. Other than our bartender/waiter {ADAM} it was good. His personality sux'd . We waited on our waiter all night

Nice place to hang out with friends. I have been here many times and always have positive experience. There's plenty of seats inside. In the summer time there's limited seating outside. They have lots of beer on tap to try. I'm not much of a beer drinker but I always try something new when I'm there. read more
