After a 80 minutes long wait - we finally got our spot. We, a party of 6 adults, got super hungry by then. For appetizers we ordered, Chicken Wings with Korian Chili Garlic sauce - 3/5, not bad - my friends who ordered this mentioned that chicken wasn't as fresh. Queso Dip - 4.5/5, totally crave worthy. Wisconsin Cheese Curds - 5/5, the BEST and a MUST try. Pretzel - 1/5, can't describe but we dinn feel good eating that. Onion Ring Tower - 2/5, too greasy Drinks were really good too. Boys in the group ordered from the large beer selection, and they loved it. The main course was disappointing, felt like the vegetarian versions of the usual meat entrees are not worth it here. Vampire Tacos without meat - not worth it. Gardein Orange Chicken - 3/5. tooo sweet, I like it otherwise. I heard their Beyond Meat burger is Really really good, but we dinn get to try it the other day. For Desserts we tried, Bread pudding - 3/5. group liked it, not my favorite Brookkie - 4/5 - love the chocolate brownie, syrup was too sweet. Overall a good place for the groups. I'd definitely go back for the appetizers, those cheese curds and the Queso Dip A final 3/5 rating is due to the Main course disappointment. I was a little apprehensive to try this place because of some of the negative reviews I was reading but I have to say, overall I really enjoyed it here. I came here with a friend on a Tuesday night and surprisingly it was poppin! So crowded! Thankfully my friend checked and put us on the waitlist beforehand so we only had to wait about 10 minutes when we got there. Service was excellent. I believe our server's name was Angelica and she was so sweet and attentive. As for food I ordered the poké nachos as an entree and they did not disappoint! This thing was delicious!! The chips weren't soggy, the tuna was tasty, and all the toppings went so well together. I would highly recommend trying this even if you just get it as an app! Now for my drink... I ordered the Malibu peach cocktail, and when it arrived at my table I thought it was a joke. If you check out the picture you'll see what I mean. The glass was only half full and it was just really sad looking!! At least garnish it with something to make it look pretty / presentable. The taste was just ok. Honestly I was really put off by how little it was, so it ruined it for me. Anyways, for dessert I ordered the brookie which was a cookie dough fudge brownie with vanilla ice cream, whipped cream, and chocolate & caramel sauce. Perfection. Called in advance and was told it was going to be a 35-45 min wait. When my party got there at the 45 min mark, we had to wait for about another 30 mins. The food overall was good. I had the cheesesteak and thought it was okay. I was more of a fan of the nachos, I highly recommend getting them. The Ace Guava ciders are also really good. The server was nice and we had no issues. For dessert, I went for the chocolate fudge cake and it was big and delicious! Great way to finish your dinner. I personally think that cake would go better with vanilla ice cream. read more

Yard House is a great spot to go to in Burlington. Every time I come here I always try to get something different off their menu. Their pineapple chicken is super good, and the bacon cheddar cheeseburger is a MUST. I usually get really nice servers here, the atmosphere is really cool inside too! read more

My wife and I like the Yard House quite a bit. Not only are there seemingly limitless types of beers, the food is pretty good, plus, classic rock! We're big tuna app freaks, and they serve it a couple different ways. Our favorite is the poke nachos, which have nice tortilla chips, tuna, peppers, and avocados. We could eat that all night. I'm a carnivore, so I really like the Korean ribeye. My wife has had the jambalaya and really liked it. Tonight, she had the lobster garlic noodles and loved them. Unfortunately, I have to say I had my first disappointment there tonight. I got a Pepper jack burger with jalapeños. I expected my face to melt. It had zero heat, wasn't cooked medium rare (why ask?), and was pretty good but not particularly flavorful. Parm fries were good. Fuddruckers has a better burger. We'll unquestionably go back as it's become one of our favorite places. But I can't recommend the burgers. Didn't hate it. Just nothing exceptional. read more

For a chain restaurant the menu, service, and food quality are all well above expectations. The menu is fun and adventurous but offers many classics for those who are a bit more particular in their culinary experiences. Of particular note are: Wisconsin Cheese Curds- fried cheese cubes of a special cheese that falls somewhere between cheddar and mozzarella. Sometimes they cook it too hot and the cheese loses the iconic "squeak" but it's always still tasty. It comes with a sauce that is familiar to Bloomin' Onion fans as well as a cup of Mike's Hot Honey. Alternating between the sauces provides a delightful and decadent moment of pure bliss. The Berkshire Pork Belly Burger- I'm not big on alternate meat burgers. I've had emu, ostrich, alligator, tuna, bison, buffalo, elk, venison, and half a dozen others. Most, if not all, were somewhere between dog-awful and palatable. This burger was a true surprise! It's not dry like most ground pork. It doesn't taste like sausage , which is a good thing. It has a delicate flavor profile somewhere between a grilled chicken sandwich and a quality burger. The jam on the bun was delightful and a welcome reprieve from the salty and herby patty under it. I'm not sure what kind of person could eat the entire thing but as a nearly 200lb man I was stuffed halfway through. This is perfect for sharing with some appetizers and drinks, unless you are "trucker hungry" and want to challenge your digestive system. There is no need to spend time talking about the drink menu. Beer selection is just as good as you would expect, while the wines on offer show an understanding of the menu AND clientele. None of it is challenging to a wine connoisseur, nor should it be in a place like this. The only spot for menu improvement is their cocktail section. It's just not as fun or comforting as the rest of the Yard House experience would leave you to anticipate. A final note: Service is hit or miss as turnover seems substantial with waitstaff. That is probably not a comment on the management but is likely due to the high demand for staff among the many restaurants close by. It does sometimes leave you with a young and inexperienced waitstaff but please don't let that ruin the chance for a great meal with someone you enjoy spending time with. Also, they seem to have a LOT of tech problems with their point of sale systems and entertainment at the tables. They might want to consider changing vendors or scrapping the system altogether since it leaves your final moment with them as a frustrating one. The yard house is a huge, fun restaurant with a large bar and thoughtful covid precautions. I visited in October 2020 and was pleased to see they turned half their parking lot into outdoor seating. We had to wait an hour but it was worth it because it's was very spacious and clean. The menu is very long with plenty of vegetarian options. They offer gardin faux meat which is really awesome. Tasha, the bartender for my section spent a lot of time talking to a patron to my left, took about 5 minutes to get a drink order in. Ordered food, the cheesesteak, came out with cold bread and warmish fries. Tasha never brought napkins until asked, never checked in to see how everything was or if I wanted anything else. Absolutely atrocious service by her, hopefully all the talking she did to the middle age man in the suit netted her a good tip. What I love is the very attentive, unpretentious service, the beer selection (although I generally prefer cider or wine), watching any Boston team beat any NY team, while chowing really good comfort food. I have been to the Minneapolis location and I thought I would get similar food\service. Sad to say, the Burlington location looks similar in appearance but the inner workings were severely lacking. The waitress yesterday did not send water the first time we asked her. The truffle fries and the fried calamari were both cold and soggy. I had never had this experience in the Minneapolis location but this Burlington location was really low quality. The beer itself we ordered was cold\cool and the one star is because of the beer. The cherry on top was a different waitress who served us the wings. I politely asked if there is supposed to the any sauce\dressing that was supposed to be there. She basically barked "what did you want on it". The tone itself was aggressive and extremely off-putting. Since I was with my friends, I did not want to ruin our meeting, but I will make sure this review finds itself to many many important places. All in all, both waitresses provided unprofessional service and the food was prepared in a very low-quality way. I had the added advantage of comparing it to a location that knows how do it right. I stopped into the new Yard House on Saturday for lunch with a group of six. It was extremely busy, so I don't blame them, but the service was very slow. It took over 20 minutes to get our drinks to us and we never got water. That being said, everything else was great. I had a couple of beers that were excellent; one of which will be in my new regular rotation. To start we had the crispy brussels sprouts and the buffalo cauliflower. Both were great, but the brussels sprouts were out of this world. For my meal, I had the lamb burger and fries. The whipped feta on the burger made it truly perfect. What a great beer selection this chain provides. Their food is casual dining at its best. For dinner I had zucchini noodles with shrimp and a side salad as an appetizer, with a nice stone brewing hazy ipa. It was a good meal. My colleagues had steak dishes, one filet and one steak bowl. Everyone seemed to enjoy, and commented the steak bowl was like a meat poke bowl. Service was great. Our waitress mentally noted our large order with perfection. Parking was tough, which was strange because the place was not full, and they do have a full private lot. I like the a/v ambiance as well, 80's music playing with corresponding music videos on one screen, Olympics on another and basketball on a third from my vantage point. Took my three grandkids to Yardhouse Burlington and was a bad experience. Kids ages were 1, 4 and 5 and aside from high chair being broken the adults got and finished their food before kids got their meals 35 minutes later. Manager offered French fries to hold them over, same fries that came with their order anyway, when food finally arrived after 3 kids were all wound up manager didn't offer to comp kids meals or do anything else. I love Yard House but this location has been awful the last two times I ordered. Last time I ordered a burger median-well and I got a burger that was almost completely raw, so this time I specified WELL DONE please when I ordered. I was told 20 minutes to pick up. I arrived 20 minutes later and called for curbside pickup. They said a couple more minutes because they are packaging it up. 10 minutes to by, so I call to ask for the status. The server answered the phone and says "Your order is not ready, it'll be a couple minutes." I said "I was told it would take 20 minutes, and it's now been 30. And when I called 10 minutes ago you told me a couple minutes." She said "Well I don't place the take out orders so I didn't say that." *Rude.* Then she said "We'll bring it out as soon as it's ready," and hangs up. Again, rude. 10 more minutes ago by and finally I get my order. I take it home and take a bite and it's barely cooked again! You can see from the picture that the receipt says "well" for well-done and the burger is bloody all in the middle. The chicken tenders that we ordered were disgusting, chewy, and incredibly salty. They should call them Chicken *Tendons* instead of tenders because it was like eating tough, uncooked chicken. My wife and I spit it out. We are done with this place. Decided to check this place out for lunch since it just opened. I'm glad we did. The interior is very nice and open. The bar is huge and the 100+ beers on tap is excellent. They have something for everyone. We sat near the kitchen and could hear the staff working on orders in the background. Super cool to hear someone running the line and giving words of encouragement. Must have been running smooth because our orders came out quick. I got the Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich. It wasn't the traditional form but it was actually really good. It was seasoned well and had a hint of sweetness which made it taste very good. I liked it and will definitely get it again. Service was good too. I liked how everyone seemed to chip in and help take care of each table. I think we encountered 3 different servers during our meal. The Ziosk is great at helping decide what beers to try or even seeing some pics of the food. Trying some beers on my next visit which will be very soon.
