I stopped in with a group of friends on a Friday evening, and it was super crowded between people watching BB March Madness at the bar and people having dinner. It was impossible to find a space at the bar to order a beer while talking with friends, and the servers were irritated with the crowd of people not moving aside while they were running food and drinks. It was just too crowded, so I skipped the drink and went back outside. I think it is best to come here off-season and off dinner hours. read more

Parking was a pain here on a Friday night because it's in Mizner. But there was no wait for a table of 3 luckily. The inside is like a sport bar. There is a big bar in the middle of the restaurant. Our server was great and attentive! We shared Parmesan truffle fries as an app. They were really good. I tried their house honey blonde ale beer which was light and crisp. I came to Yardhouse with my friend Eddie, who was in town visiting. I live in West Palm Beach, but he was staying in Boca. So I drove 30 mins to Yardhouse. It was a little busy when we arrived. People were there watching the Florida Panthers game while enjoying food and beverages. We made our way to the bar. We found one seat, but we didn't have to wait long for another seat to open up. What an exceptional experience! Arriving on a busy Friday night and being in a wheelchair the manager, Christian asked us if we would like to wait at the wheelchair accessible bar top in the meantime for our table. Before moving to our high top the service at the bar was very quick. Our server ended up being a very fun and knowledgeable server named Lucia! She had great recommendations with the Korean ribeye, and shrimp that we absolutely loved! We also got the poke nachos that are always great! My girlfriend was craving something creamy and she's a big Dr Pepper fan. Next thing we know our server Lucia surprised her with a Dr Pepper vanilla float. Needless to say, she was very happy and it was quite delicious! The manager Christian stopped back by a few times to Chat and check on us. We brought to his knowledge that Mizner Park let us down a little bit in the wheelchair accessibility department. With limited handicap parking spaces we had to park at the top of the parking garage on the sixth floor and double park. Due to having a wheelchair van with a ramp. Upon taking the elevator downstairs, there was a 10 inch ledge that I could not get down in my power wheelchair. Needless to say we were stuck and had to go back up the elevator to the sixth floor and roll all the way down the parking garage. With Christian having a disability wheelchair user in his family, he knew that this was unacceptable and offered to go all the way up the parking garage and drive my van down into the one of the open spaces. After trying multiple times he got us the front row parking handicap spot! What hospitality! This will forever be my favorite spot and now y'all know why! We're pretty easy to please as we are all servers/bartenders in the industry however the service last night was awful. Our server slammed plates on our table, avoided us so we'd have minimum time to order food (kitchen was closing), wasn't helpful with their kiosk machine. On a positive note, sliders were really great! They had a certain sweetness to them which I really enjoyed. The coco passion drink was right up my alley as well! The seating was comfortable and I felt like there was adequate lighting. We got the firecracker shrimp as an appetizer. It was a little too spicy for my liking but I did like how they had the shrimp on top of a crispy rice cake. For my entree I got the bbq bacon cheddar burger and sweet potato fries. The food was super tasty, no complaints. I took off one star because I felt like our server was a little disconnected. In all fairness he was swamped with tables but that definitely took away from the dining experience. At any rate I would recommend if you're in the area for lunch. read more

The four cheese spinach dip was AMAZING! However, everything else not so much. The chips were stale, the pizza was undercooked, cold and lacked flavor, the fries had a freezer taste to them and were just above room temperature, the noodles were spicy yet bland. We ordered the blackberry and passion fruit refreshers to drink, we both tasted great, however my son's glass was broken and leaking, therefore he ended up with a refresher shower. Our server was nice, but the service was slow which doesn't make sense when you're getting cold food, and the atmosphere was fine. It's Sunday night so I like the calm. I will say after being on the road for almost 4 hours driving to Boca after an entire day traveling from the West Coast, I was looking forward to having dinner. We opted for the Yard House over the Ale House as the reviews and menu made it look like the better choice. I was sadly mistaken. Dinner for two 80 dollars, the food at the Ale House would have tasted better and cost less. Parking is really bad here. City of Boca tickets 24/7 and the only other option is a huge parking garage with really tight spaces. That said, the food was very pricey for what you got.
