After purchasing it, I discovered that all four wheel bearings were bad. Another shop had quoted me around $3,000 to replace them, while this dealership offered to do the job for around $1,000, so I brought the car back to them. When I received the car back, the ABS, brake, traction/DSC, and service-engine-soon warning lights were all illuminated. Those warning lights were not on when I brought the car in for the wheel-bearing repair. I can't say with certainty what caused the lights, but the fact that they appeared immediately after the repair is obviously concerning. I also don't have the original paperwork anymore, so I can't prove exactly what happened, which is frustrating. Regardless, this was my experience, and I would personally recommend having any vehicle from this dealership inspected by an independent mechanic before purchasing it.

I was thinking to myself, we probably should have researched a sales associate, before calling, but given the extremely limited quantity of our dream SUV, I wasn't wasting a second. The phone connects and we hear "Thank you for calling Langan VW of Vernon, this is Maria, how may I help you today?". We both burst out with joyous cheer and excitement. We tell Maria what led us to her and the vehicle we want. She assures us that yes in fact they have it, it's not sold. We agree to meet tomorrow. I find Maria greeting me in the parking lot with a giant welcoming smile. We shake hands and she thanks me for choosing Langan VW of Vernon and for making the 3.5 hour journey. We go to her office. Having purchased new vehicles before, this is where I start to get anxious, wondering if she is going to be like every other sales person I have dealt with? Numbers game, low-ball trade offer, no wiggle room? She did none of those things. She was completely personable and explained everything that I was filling out and what was involved in the process. Maria is so sweet. I feel like I'm hanging out with my Italian Grandmother, that is, if I had an Italian Grandmother. The process was seamless and very relaxed. In October 2022, brought my truck to their service dept as my car's convertible top was falling apart, despite not even being a year old. I was told I would be able to get it replaced under warranty. However, I was never contacted for the repair. The gentleman who was assisting me, left their dealership and I fell through the cracks. Eventually, my mother called them to see what the heck was going on??? And they scheduled a date 5 months out for me to bring my truck in. They refused to even quote me a repair time as "they'd never replaced a bronco's softtop". (Fwiw, I checked on how long the repair should take via various Ford Bronco forums, and was informed it should only take a day at most. That it's a big job, not a fun job and that's likely why they pushed out my repair- that they really didn't want to do the job). So I dropped my truck off on 2/13/23. A week later, I came back to see what progress had been made and my car was sitting on their lot untouched :( They not only scheduled me 5 months out from when I originally brought the truck in, but in the week they had it, they didn't bother repairing it. They said that "this week they would look into it". So Why did I have to bring it in a week early??? It makes zero sense to me. I asked for my Bronco back. I'll get the work done somewhere else where I and my time are valued more. Fwiw, I drove my car cross-country over the summer and 2 weeks into owning it, the AC broke in 112 degree heat. When I got to a big enough city (Denver) my car was repaired on the spot. The Ford dealer accommodated me extremely well. I wasn't happy my new Bronco broke 2 weeks into my ownership, but the dealership was more than accommodating. Mitchel Ford wasted my time. I had an appt and even though they had my truck for over a week, they did nothing. I'm not pleased with them. 1.5 stars. They did give me a loaner vehicle. I guess that helps, but at the end of the day, my truck still needs a new roof. It should have been repaired in October 2022 when I brought it in. It should have been replaced on my 2/13/23 appointment. They had the car for over a week during this period and did NOTHING. WTF.
