Wow--I highly recommend KB. I had a quote from another place that didn't even want to work on my car; they said it needed work in the thousands of dollars and didn't think it was worth doing. I took it to KB and with no fuss they called with a quote under $1000 and completed the work same day. And the work they did was excellent--it drives like a dream. We did have to wait for an appointment, which is normal because they're in demand, plus this was holiday time. We will go to KB from now on. read more

I took my truck to this shop cause it wasn't running good. I must say this shop is the absolute best shop I have been to. They treated me like family the first time I walked in. I have minimal knowledge to engines and they spent a lot of time with me explaining to me and answering my dumb questions and making sure that I understood everything they were about to do. I was recently sent to KB Automotive on a recommendation from a friend of mine. I want to say that I have never had better customer service in the car repair industry or any other industry for that matter, in my lifetime. Steve and his staff were extremely friendly. They were able to get my car in for a brake service that day. They are honest and get the job done and that is all I ask for out of a partner. I then took my wifes car in for an o2 sensor and some heating and air fan work. They went above and beyond, testing the car and running it through emissions. I have taken my 2007 Honda Civic here for brake replacements/alignments and other general maintenance. I chose this establishment because my parents have had their cars serviced here also, and have been very satisfied with the work. Part of why I return to KB is because their prices are competitive, at least with my local Honda dealership. They usually have my car /my husband's car ready much sooner than we expect, which is nice. The owner, Steve, is good to work with and trustworthy. The reason I chose 4 stars might be minor to some: the last time I had work done on my car, the auto tech who test drove and parked my car left oil and grease stains all over my steering wheel and driver side door. While it was relatively easy to get the stains off of the wheel and other smooth surfaces, there is still a mark on the fabric on my driver side door. I know other garages/dealerships have their techs wear gloves when getting a car ready for pickup. I would have appreciated that consideration, especially since I try to keep the interior of my car looking new and fresh. The hours are decent; they are, however, open only Monday-Friday. read more

Took Lexus there with a broken lug nut stud. Town Fair Tire broke it while putting on new tires and finally agreed to pay for KB Auto to fix it. Anyway, with family of four needing the vehicle for school and work, our window of time to have it done in, was very narrow. Christy who interacts with the public and appears to manage the schedule was very helpful and had it done at the best possible time. I called this business and told them the codes that I had pulled from my car and that i needed it repaired to pass emissions. They called me later that day with an estimate for the repairs that seemed extremely expensive. I called around to other local shops and asked for estimates over the phone which they did for free and found the job to be hundreds of dollars cheaper then KB. I called KB back and told them i did not want them to repair my car and I wanted to pick it up. When i went to pick it up they tried to charge me a hundred dollars to "diagnose" my car even though i was the one who gave them the codes and told them what was wrong with it. I would not recommend this shop to anyone. read more

If I could pick 0 stars, I would. Second bad experience I have had. The first time, The owner's son gave me my car back and it was barely running right there in their lot. Yet, his son said it should make it home. Talked to the owner ten minutes later, he took my car, came back 15 minutes later and said that a plug wasn't attached. But I was told by his son that I would make it home.To add insult to injury, my car was not even having that issue when I brought it in. Second time, I had my car towed for idling up and down in park and also revving too high. They received my car 10-27-15. I was told that they were trying to get a used computer. That was all I was told. After about a week, I called and asked for pricing for a new computer because I was tired of waiting for a used one. Apparently the message was not relayed. Called two days later and told someone to have the owner to call me. Again, the message not relayed. Without needed repairs, I picked my car up on 11-10-2015 and had it towed to another mechanic. My car was fixed within two days. for significantly less than what I was quoted, because it did not need a new computer. There was also other parts added on the service order that my car did not need. read more
