Sometimes they referred me to another place because they are too busy. I used to count on them but not the same anymore. Before they were open on Saturdays but not now. All has changed with them. They say they can do the work but the real question is WILL THEY DO IT... I spoke to owner about a week ago regarding a job. I stopped by during week and a female told me its on a first come first serve basis. I request to work from home so that I can drop off the car before 8 a.m. and walk home...I followed up around noon and female on the phone tells me they haven't worked on the car yet and would call when they do. No call so around 3 p.m. I walked over and they had NOT even moved the car from where I left it at 8am. Some of the staff was outside with what could be perceived as BS'N .. when questioned they said they are short staffed and don't have the people to do the job because individuals left early. So my question was when were you going to call me? Female noted at 4pm This is truly unacceptable...specially when I called at noon to check in and they later tell me staff went home early. Her suggestion for me was to come back early morning Saturday - on the first come first serve basis AGAIN. I think not. read more

l work in the auto business for over 30 years my favor place was MANCHESTER MUFFLER on 160 middle tpke west, I spent thosands of dollars on that location and did recomended a lots of customer to that location but is not the same the custumer services have change I call last week to bring my jeep I was told to bring it next week becouse they were busy which I did way there for have an hour outside in the morning just to tell me they not going to do anything today my point is not the same anymore I was treaded not good is not the same I would never recomend anybody again very disappointed it was my favor place to bring my cars I guess busines changed for the worst read more

THIS PLACE WAS THE BIGGEST MISTAKE I EVER MADE It's started off good with this place. They wasn't changing me taxes if I brought cash which was great because I had my savings for emergencies. But now I'm regretting getting comfortable with going to Manchester Muffler. I had got my breaks done a month ago $260 which wasn't bad. Then I went to Town Fair Tire to get an alinement, where they told me my FRONT outer did was bent. WHY DIDNT MANCHESTER MUFFLER TELL ME THIS. So I got that fixed at MM, but after that my breaks were squeaking bad and then my break light turns on...mind you when I got the tire rod fixed there I specifically asked IS THERE ANYTHING ELSE I SHOULD WORRY ABOUT?! But no the receptionist who's always there said no he didn't find anything. Okay so when I brought my car back and it took them 30 mins to tell me it's my BACK BREAKS NOW, Fucking bogus. So you would think a mechanic would be able to look at the breaks and say oh you should probably get new ones in the next month you know?! ESPECIALLY SINCE I FREAKING ASKED. So I'm very unhappy with the fact that I feel like they see me as a paycheck instead of a person struggling with their shitty vehicle. It's now two days after Thanksgiving and I had THE BREAK GUY check my breaks. He said my "BRAND NEW" rotors that were done in September are actually not new at all. And my back breaks are grinding after I had them check my front breaks. read more

Amazing crew!!! Came very highly recommended by another amazing business Tires International on Oakland Road also in Manchester, CT. Did an AMAZING quick fix for me VERY cheaply that will buy me six months before I can come back for the full repair. A regular shop quoted me $700 for what these guys will do for $140. They will do it the old fashioned way that will last TEN TIMES LONGER than the prefab "solution" the other guys would install. I can't say enough good things. Completely no frills HONEST service. No frills = no uniforms, greasy hands, and not a creature comfort in sight. For this kind of down home old school service it becomes charming and quaint and a throwback to simpler times. I love these guys. Been coming here for a while now that I've found them. The guy who owns the place bought out the previous owner a while back after working for him most of his life. He's a top notch mechanic and an honest businessman. The last time I came here was to get my wife's car exhaust fixed. I was quoted huge amounts of money to replace my catalytic converter and the pipe that connects it because of rust. Around $700 total. Jeff and his crew replaced a piece of the pipe and charged me $50. It won't last forever but it bought me some time. Well worth it. When it comes time to actually replace the exhaust, he can do the entire job from manifold back to tailpipe for around that amount. Recently had my brakes replaced. Quick and neat, work great and about 1/2 the price of the other places who quoted it. It's not the nicest looking place but they are mechanics, not interior decorators. I would rather get inexpensive honest labor than sit in luxury. Check him out, you won't be disappointed. read more

Awesome AGAIN!!! It has been over a month and i have been meaning to write this. Rattling noise was coming from my daughters heat shield. They fixed it for $20. I have been there numerous times and am always amazed. I will always go here with any muffler related issue.
