They were so fast and reasonably price. I had to replace part of my exhaust and they were very good

Excellent service. Glad I found someone I can trust not to rip me off. Very friendly and quick

They were quick and they did the job needed. I had my exhaust replaced in my truck (F-150) in over 2 hours. They have a nice waiting room!

I had bought a used car wich had multiple issues, one being that the entire exhaust was rattling and had holes here and there. Took myself to pops exhaust for a quote and next day i got the funds together and within 6 hours from when i dropped off my car they called me and said im all set! Full exhaust job from the headers to the tips! All that work in 6 hours is amazing and these guys rock! read more

I got an estimate for my loud, leaking exhaust: $3000 to replace both catalytic converters, all pipes and my muffler. Scheduled an estimate at Pop's and they told me two small sections of piping needed to be cut out new pipe welded in. Cost me under $300 and they did it while I waited 45 minutes. read more

Was recommended for me to come here. Walked in yesterday cause my exhaust was rattling & finally had enough of it. Thought it was one thing cause I had it done a couple years prior by someone else & that I'd have to wait, Jay took my car in right there. Told me exactly what was going on, how much it'd cost & how long it'd take. Needless to say for what I paid with what I needed done it was worth it. Also have a one year warranty on it so I'm happy with that. One quiet Jeep at idling later, sounds much better. Ik where I'm going for future exhaust work now. read more

What an excellent experience. I've been getting horrible service from my dealer and my care is still under warranty, my problem might have been covered but I decided to go to Pops instead. They were super responsive, very fair prices, got me in the next day! I will highly recommend them to everyone I meet. read more

Great experience. Walked in for an exhaust leak and had to get the entire straight pipe replaced. Only waited and hour and the charge was extremely reasonable. Service was quick and friendly. Only took an hour to replace and I was back on the road. Great Job! read more

They've won another customer for life. My car had a pretty bad rattle and I thought it was an issue with the exhaust. They were able to squeeze me in the same day and come to find out the rattle was just a loose heat shield plate, which they took care of. Many places would have seen it as an opportunity to rip a customer off. Pop's is not that type of place, they took care of me. read more

Scheduled an inspection based on a local mechanic's diagnosis which said I needed a complete exhaust, piping and catalytic converter ($2,000). I dropped the car off at 7:15 a.m. and received a call from Jay at 8:30 a.m. who said there were some cracks and holes that could be repaired for $500. I asked if he could complete the job today and by 11:30 a.m. Jay called to let me know the job was done. These guys are fast, honest and dependable. They just earned a new customer for life. Don't waste your time researching others, this is the place to go! Thanks Jay and co. read more

I was visiting family when my Suburu's exhaust finally bit it! My family's mechanic couldn't get me in. My boyfriend usually does the work on our cars but he was away on business. I told him what was going on and he found Pop's online and called. He is doesn't usually like dealing with repair shops but over the phone he spoke to Jay who was very knowledgeable and explained some options over the phone. Not only did Pop's get me in without an appointment, they put my car up immediately and called me in to look at the issues and explain the various options to me. Now I am fairly knowledgeable about cars, at least enough to know when I'm getting hosed. These guys did not talk to me like and idiot or worse a girl!!! Bonus points for them! I have put a few mechanics/ shops in their place before for talking down to me or trying to take advantage because they thought I was 'just a girl'. The price was fair, the work looks good, the guys were fast and courteous! I was out in an hour and a half! I would definitely recommend my friends and family! Thank you Pop's! read more

I can't say enough about this place! I originally called the Manchester location and was greeted with a very pleasant gentleman. He directed me to the Wethersfield location where I spoke with Jay he was very professional and understanding about what was going on. I took it to have it looked at and he gave me an amazing price, versus the dealers 2500 dollar price tag! He got me in super fast and had me running smooth again. I highly recommend them and will definitely use them in the future for all my exhaust needs. read more

I'm reserving a fifth star because of a little bit of doubt cast on this situation. I came for what should have been an $80 pipe... a friend installed a direct-fit catalytic converter for me, but he and I both knew a pro would be needed to weld in a 2-foot length of regular pipe to finish the connection to the back of the exhaust. But then I was told by Pop's that the cat itself was installed incorrectly. That the three bolts holding the cat to the exhaust manifold were cross threaded, and there was a missing gasket between the cat and manifold. No idea how it could have shaken out... So, my bill was $230. Bolts had to be cut, new nuts and bolts had to be inserted, new gasket of course. $80 for the aforementioned pipe, $150 for the unexpected but more complex repair. When I told my friend about the cross-threaded nuts on the cat, he got downright angry. He said there was no way they could have been cross threaded, since they were put on by hand. So I don't know who to believe. I sincerely doubt there was any meddling... this place has a high reputation of good service and reasonable prices. And despite the unexpected extra repairs, $244 (after tax) was not a horrible hit to the wallet. But I also want to believe my friend. I'm just glad everything works now. read more

One of our vehicles needed its exhaust repaired and this business had just moved in next door and I thought that I would give them a try. I am glad that I did because not only were they able to repair the exhaust on the car, it only took half a day to do so. The timing was great, I dropped off the car in the morning and it was ready by lunch. It sounded like a brand new car after I picked it up. This was an inexpensive repair and they also fixed the codes on the engine, which was very helpful. Staff are very friendly and communicated everything to me over the phone and again when I picked up the car. I made an appointment but they would have taken me on the same day. They also offer oil change services and brake work. If you are looking for a place to help with your vehicle, consider this business as they have many services and their rates are very competitive! read more

Just bought a used vehicle, figured i would get the exhaust system inspected. When in to it fully prepared to pay for a new system or be told to change it. Sure enough i was told i didn't need anything and all looked good. Love dealing with honest people. Clean shop and very friendly, no appointment, walked right in. I will deff be back if i need some thing in the future. read more

I've had the pleasure of dealing with both the Mancheter & Wethersfield locations, and i can not say enough good things about these guys. They're fast, they're professional, they're knowledgeable, and they are REASONABLE!! They are the Anti-Garage. Whereas most garages are out to screw you for every nickel you have, these guys are just the opposite. I don't know who does the hiring for this company, but damn, they do have a eye for good personal and mechanical talent. And to echo another review from below, the retro antiques inside are VERY cool! They even have a pink Rambler from the early 60's sitting inside. AWESOME!! I would (and do) recommend them to ANYONE!! read more

The staff here was knowledgeable and very good. They worked quickly to get my Nissan Frontier back on the road for a price that was better than me doing it myself. Now my truck is so quiet again! Highly recommended location. read more

I went to my normal shop for repairs and was quoted $2100-2600 for the exhaust repair I needed. My husband told me to take It to pop's and i had the whole thing repaired for under $600, brought it in the next day and the car hums beautifully. The do a great job here and at an affordable price. read more

I had the best experience at Pop's and would recommend them to anyone and everyone. I was having issues with my exhaust so went to get an estimate from the dealer who was much more interested in trying to sell me a new car than giving me a "real" estimate to fix mine. When I finally did get the estimate it was so over inflated it was ridiculous. He proceeded to give me a huge list of things that were wrong and an estimate of thousands of dollars to fix it all. Knowing that I really haven't had to spend any money on this car and it was paid off, I wasn't about to get into another huge debt so I asked for my keys back and left. On my way out I called Pop's as it was recommended to me. I spoke to Jay and he told me that they were closing at 3:00 and he couldn't promise that he'd be able to fix it but he would definitely take a look at it. I headed right over. I walked in and he took my keys and put it right up on the lift. While I was waiting, I noticed how nice the shop was. Sparkling clean, smelled good and had some really nice touches. A working soda machine from the 70's was a great accent. After about 15 minutes, Jay came back and explained the problem to me. He walked over to the wall that had parts on display and pointed out what the problem was. He told me that he could get it done within a half hour and the whole thing came to $190! A bit of a difference than the almost $2000 that the dealership tried to charge me! My car was completely fixed and paid for in just 45 minutes from when I pulled in. I was treated with respect and kindness. I would and will recommend Pop's to everyone. I can't say enough about my experience there. read more

As a longtime user of auto repair shops, I found Pops to be as fair, accurate and provided as high a quality repair as I have ever experienced. The people are very nice and proficient. When I hear the noise, I went to dealer to check the car, They told me that my exhaust system is leaking and rusting, and I should replace the whole exhaust system around 800 bucks. Then I went to the pop exhaust, and they just told me that only a part of the exhaust system is leaking. They suggested me that just replacing that part, and they complete the work in half hour with reasonable price, I thought that I will be there next time if I have the problem. Highly recommend to anyone has the problem with exhaust problem. read more

when I tell you I LOVEE these people?! I love! when I first got my car I had no idea why it ran with a "sound" took my 03' Passat down there, left it for them to take a good look at.. the manager (I forgot his name) called me and told me what was needed: 1. flex pipe 2. midpipe & I added an oil change... guess what? I paid $220!!! ( oil change was 20$ , work was 200$) I was like WHAT? when can you do it? Lol that's the cheapest bill I've EVER gotten for my VW! I go to them just to check out my car and oil changes (I'm always late.. sorry! lol) but I know I can trust them, they're not like other places... no guy comes out of nowhere and tells me I need to spend 3k on bull I need to "FIX" - you've earned yourself a loyal customer! We had an exhaust leak on our '03 Honda Odyssey and it needed a new catalytic converter as it was also rotting out. The dealer quoted me $1700+ for a new exhaust system. I stopped by Pop's in Wethersfield and had them check it out. They fixed the pipes and installed a new catalytic converter for about a fifth of the price the dealer wanted to solve the same problem. Jay, the manager, is honest and helpful. I'll definitely use them again if needed. read more

Was driving on the highway and heard an odd noise. Got off the exit, it stopped. Drove through Panera, it started up again. Headed back for the highway, it made a loud clunking noise, and I was right by the shop, so I pulled in. Told them what was going on, they immediately listened to it, and then threw it up on the lift. Then they came after only a few minutes and told me it was something to do with the calipers, but they don't work on BMW's so they couldn't fix it. Charged me NOTHING, and then told me to take it to Tony's imported cars in Manchester, up the road a ways. So helpful and nice. read more
