Took my fam out for lunch and my Dad specifically chose this place. From what they told me, they had the better experience in comparison to others establishments alike. Their cleanliness can't go unnoticed. It's affordable and most importantly the food is quality. Their variety of stir frys and fresh cut fruits were my personal favorites. Also, drinks were included. Not a fan of their coffee, but they have many other options to choose from. I am routing for this business to succeed as there isn't much options in Killeen. Considering the price and the fact that this is a buffet - good quality, average quantity, attentive staff. You pay before eating. Prices are very reasonable. For a party of three during lunch, the total was less than $40. You fill up your own drinks which I think is nice. One less thing for wait staff to worry about and it's convenient for customers. Wait staff can then just focus on clearing plates and getting tables ready for new customers. Standard Chinese American fare. I recommend the fried rice, cream cheese puffs, and ribs. On the other hand, I would avoid the fish selections they have in general. Not particularly bad. Though when I was eating, I just felt like there was a chance that I would regret it later tonight. The food is just ok, but there aren't many vegetarian options. I literally only go here when my dad wants to go. Yank Sing is not a place I would pick for myself, nor is it a place I think everyone should check out. It's just fine for a buffet. I load up on vegetable lo mein noodles and that's about it. The mushrooms are fine, but nothing really stands out. I can get a little bit of sweet tofu in the sushi section, but I don't have any substantial protein options. Solid 3.5 I came with a huge party, the food was subpar but I really appreciated that a lot of dishes that came out were smokin hot. I skipped the fried rice during my first go around and was sadden it wasn't refilled my second time the soup was good on the cold day. We went for my husbands birthday, we were super excited for him to get Chinese food he wanted. We got here and the food was cold, the rice was cold the noodles and the chicken. The ice cream was crusty crunchy and you had to serve yourself for everything. Save your money, 30 dollars for 2 people is not worth this buffet. read more

This is a great buffet. Love how you pay and don't have to worry about waiting for the bill it's nice to be able to eat and walk out. They have lots of good choice of food selection and always filling and making sure everything is filled. The place is pretty nice inside. Food was actual really good, went with a group and we all went back for seconds-even thirds. I wasn't a fan of the customer service of their employees. I asked about a military discount, my husband is active duty, and she rudely said no. that to me was super off putting. the food can be the best but if you have the worst service it's not worth going to. i didn't mind i didn't get the discount, cause the pricing is still really good compared to other buffets, but her and another girls attitude behind the counter was absolutely horrible. read more

It's pretty descent here. Better than other buffets in the area. It's cleaner here. At least there's NO smells of mold or NO smells of aging furniture. The foods taste good and descent. My preference though is that some food dishes are too salty and some taste normal. At the time, I didn't find their egg rolls crispy enough. Their beef slices in their beef broccoli were cut with the grain instead of against the grain making it EXTRA for long long chewing. But in my opinion, it's the best Chinese food buffet in the area. The environment is clean. The bus people keep tidying up constantly. The lighting is perfect. I forgot to mention that their knives given to you is not a steak knife. Had a hard time cutting my meats because they've cut the meats with the grain. It's funny how the chicken chunks for their stir fry's are large too. Not bite sized. Interesting comfort buffet. I visited for dinner because of the restaurant's magnificent interior decor. It is reminiscent of the late-1980's: Scarface aesthetic. The entrance of the establishment features a tiled gate with their driveway- complete with oriental sculptures. Once inside, you are greeted with the ornate wood and glass designs. It is as if this place had frozen in time. The food is the usual buffet fare aside from some dishes: something you would be familiar with, nothing too terrible and nothing too groundbreaking. It is your usual Chinese buffet. The staff was attentive and the food was stocked often. This place stands out because they have dished others don't- grilled steak for one. I've been going to this place since it opened and the food has always been great. The drinks are included in the price of the meal and that by itself is a huge plus for me. But, on my last visit I noticed something that when I see it being done at other restaurants it makes my blood boiled. When they were refilling the ice machine, they used 2 buckets and placed them on the dirty floor. Once they finished loading up the ice they put 1 ice bucket inside the other to make it easier to carry. The bottom of the buckets are now contaminated and/or dirty. Management should teach the staff on the proper way to handle the ice buckets. read more

This establishment closes at 9:30. No matter what other sources say it's 9:30. Do not bother coming within an hour of that time or you will be sorely disappointed. We arrived close to 9 and were met with a less than friendly greeting at the door by staff as they told us, "we close at 9:30 but you can look at what's left if you want." We looked and opted to stay which was a mistake. They were preparing to remove the desserts from the buffet already so we were forced to grab them first. For being the late night food it was decent but the problem was that this place does not actually "close" at 9:30. Their staff WANTS to be leaving AT 9:30. So a little before 9:30 they asked us if "we were going to be getting anything else?" before promptly clearing the buffet and cleaning everywhere. That was fine. The issue though was as soon as it hit 9:30 the staff became visibly annoyed that we were still there. Glaring at us through the glass and very obviously talking about us. We were trying to quickly finish the remainder of our food that we grabbed before 9:30 while feeling judging eyes and uncomfortable. Eventually a staff member approached and reminded us that "We are closed..", practically forcing us to leave. At that point, we felt obligated to pack up and go. I personally think if the staff wants to be leaving happily out the door at 9:30 they should have a no entry close door policy at 9:00 but hey, that's just me. But they've certainly lost our business permanently with this rude behavior. read more
