I would give it 0 stars but you have to put a star in order to post. This has got to be the worst Chinese food I've ever had, I ordered shrimp and broccoli in garlic sauce, when my husband brought it to me, I knew something was wrong just by the look. It was filled with liquid and not the correct color. When I started eating it all I could taste was vinegar, there's no vinegar in garlic sauce and it's supposed to be thick.. I know for a fact there's no Asian person back in that kitchen.. My husband's sesame chicken tasted like ketchup.. I'm highly disappointed and will never be eating from this place again.. And please stop spreading bad name to Chinese restaurants..this is clearly an imitation. read more

This could have been the worst Chinese food I've ever had. The best thing I can say for it, is that it was hot when it was delivered. The Hot & Sour Soup didn't have much flavor and I paid extra for the wonton noodles and there were none. The Pu Pu Tray was hardly edible. There was only one chicken wing (decent), there were no egg rolls. The beef teriyaki was tough with gristle all through it. The ribs were tough and dried out. The Spicy Lo Mein had no flavor at all, much less spicy. The best thing we got were the pre-packaged fortune cookies. We will definitely find another place for Chinese take-out! read more

New in town looking for a new place to eat. Definitely not recommend this place. Noddles tasted burnt and soaked with soy sauce. It was not edible. Won't go back. read more

Well I have been eating here for years. But I am wondering if they have a new cook or something cause I ordered the sesame chicken and I there was no flavor other than sweet, and the twice cook pork was mild at best. The extra spicy stuff we got tasted like they just got some habanero or Carolina Reaper sauce and added it to the food. But on the other hand all the appetizers we ordered were spot on I had no issues with the crab rangoon, dumplings, and egg roll I would buy more those more next time. Oh and thier wait times tend to get a little too long for my taste, but still manageable if you remember to order an thirty minutes to an hour before you need the food. read more

I don't understand the bad reviews, we are always pleased. the food is always fresh, hot and delivered earlier than expected. The combination fried rice is amazing. The prices are very good as well. read more

Literally the worst food experience I've ever had. My husband and I waited for over 2 hours for a pick up order from this place. And they didn't offer a refund when it had been over an hour wait. Will never EVER order from here again. If I could give zero stars I would. Don't waste your time or money. read more

Today I picked up a combination fried for my husband on the way home from a company meeting. I had him call in the order because I was driving. He called them and told them what he wanted and that if he could have more shrimp in his order because last Saturday when he went with his brother they barely put any in their orders. They said yes and apologized for the inconvenience, claimed that the Night Shift sucks and he will definitely make sure he gets more shrimp. Well apparently they didn't like his comment/request and left a little surprise in his food. A hard metal spring! They claimed it was a wire from the scrubs they used to clean the pans but to me it looked like a spring from a pen that they stretched and cut small enough to where it wasn't noticeable. One end of the spring was really pointy and I'm glad that when he bit down on the spring it didn't stab him in his gum or we'd be in the emergency right now. Requesting a few extra pieces of shrimp shouldn't warrant this kind of cruel intentions from the cooks and staff. I suggest that if you do eat here, you eat with caution and don't make any comments about the food. I'm currently waiting for my refund from the owner. I'll never order from here again. I'll take my business elsewhere. read more

Here's the thing: when it comes to Chinese food, there's almost never a middle ground. Basically, it's either great..or an epic fail of sorts. I know this because when I was a kid, I absolutely hated Chinese food. I found it disgusting. Some years passed by, I got older, and finally grew an appreciation for it. I'd like to think I have a rather healthy affinity for the cuisine. That's why it breaks my heart to write about experiences like this one. Considering the pros.. 1.) Their delivery is expedient! 2.) The fact you can use Yelp Eat 24 to place orders 3.) The chicken wings aren't half bad, actually! And that's it. Now then.. *cracks knuckles* ..let's get this over with, shall we? We'll run through this item by item, just like I did with that deplorable bowling alley out at White Sands (I took the liberty of ordering the sampler plate to get a full concept of this place). Salt and black pepper shrimp: not nearly what I was expecting, despite being the second best item on the menu that I ordered tonight. The flavors were *sort of* there. Unfortunately, what ruined the experience for me was the excessive batter. When I say excessive, I'm not even remotely exaggerating. There was enough batter on these things for me to take the excess and make belgian waffles. Pathetic! Yaki Mandu: an insult to Korea. These things were dry as all hell with very little filling and even less flavor. Didn't even finish the first piece. If the Korean chic out on "The Ville" in Osan tasted these, she'd shoot the chef. I am SO not joking. Steamed rice: Lemme ask you guys a question...how the eff do you make white rice that's SO bland, not even adding soy sauce to it helps? Seriously, it tasted exactly the same even AFTER I doused soy sauce all over the top portion. Crab rangoon: tasted more like cream cheese with a side of crab. Just.....WHY??!! Egg drop soup: tasted of boiling water and bland as f*ck! That's it. With a lot of salt, it would PROBABLY be enjoyable. As it is, it tastes more like low sodium chicken broth with a side of egg whites in it. Egg rolls: yeah...just...don't ask. They were disgusting and bland! So in case you missed it, the only things I remotely enjoyed were the chicken wings and shrimp; the latter of which was still a significant travesty of itself. So I'm giving Wok On Fire 2 inept chefs with horrible palates that should be fired out of 5. The one additional star is granting credit toward their convenient and expedient delivery service. At least the wait time on mediocrity is often short. read more

I don't ever write reviews but I felt compelled to with this place. This is the worse place to ever have "Chinese" food if you can even call it that. The shrimp egg rolls were literally 3 shrimp wrapped in wonton sheets without any vegetables! The shrimp in garlic sauce was over cooked shrimp with raw veggies in an apple cider vinegar sauce, I didn't even attempt to taste it (the smell was enough). Furthermore the firecracker shrimp was literally fried shrimp in barbecue/ketchup sauce. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!! read more

This was really awful. We ordered a great deal of food, and very little of it was edible. I threw out my entire order of pan fried noodles. They had the weirdest flavor- like raw flour was dumped in at the end. read more

First time ever getting food from here I ordered cream cheese Rangoon's and jalapeño shrimp with with rice added mushrooms and broccoli to my shrimp I must say I am very impressed everything was fresh and hot I ordered delivery and it said it would take 40min ended up being 20min !!!! Highly disappointed , I got the general tso chicken it was terrible chicken was tough the sauce didn't taste like general tso at all , I got fried rice which I believe was an up charge it was DISGUSTING all it was , was white rice with soy sauce no veggies, egg's nothing, it looked very sketchy inside I was very uncomfortable the vibe was very creepy almost. The young man at the desk was great a sweet heart . Overall I probably won't be coming back It just seemed like they just slopped the food in a container no care . read more

I would eat here everyday if I could!!!!! read more

Ordered take out from this place and just gave it a shot since I was craving shrimp fried rice. Ordered through yelp and the order was delivered very quickly and warm. The shrimp fried rice was very good and I enjoyed it very much. It had that good fried rice flavor that I was craving and it hit the spot. Not overly oniony just good overall flavor. Ordered the teriyaki chicken as well but that was just ok. Not all that much flavor. If I was to come to Killeen again, I would definitely ordered the shrimp fried rice again. It had actual good size shrimp and overall good flavor. read more

Fast delivery and really fresh food! Shrimp were perfect not rubbery! Veggies were al dente and plentiful! Everything arrived hot and correct. My fried Rangoon were a little darker than I like but other than that this was an awesome otder! Their prices are very good as well! Love that they deliver late! read more

The food was great back in the day. Recently however, it hasn't been tasting as good as before. And that's IF you even get someone to answer the phone to place an order. For the past month no has been answering the phone to take an order. I even made sure that I'm not ordering during closing! I don't know what's going on there but someone needs to fix this place and make it excellent like before. read more

Not often I visit Killeen... but when I do, I like stopping by Wok on Fire for a solid meal. The salt n pepper shrimp here is awesome. I eat it with the shell on, but I can understand if some people peel it off. But since they don't use jumbo shrimp, the shell is not too difficult to get down; plus it has a lot of flavor! If you're in Killeen, stop by and give Wok on Fire a try. read more

Wok On Fire - I paid for an extra large order. So good. - Chinese Near Me - Killeen, Texas

This place is disgusting. I ordered orange chicken, vegetable lo mein, firecracker shrimp, sizzling beef with black pepper and 3 egg rolls. The orange chicken is gross and not even how orange chicken looks.it's brown no sauce and disgusting. The lo mein is like ramen that was cooked too long it's soggy and tasted spoiled. The egg rolls were horrible and greasy. The shrimp and beef was the only thing we ate but it still wasn't good. Rice had no flavor. Save yourself money and go somewhere else. This place should be shut down. read more

I can't give this place a zero so I have to give it 1 star and even that is too much. The food was tough as hell, I was eating chicken that felt like I was chewing on toothpicks. I don't know if it was old or if it was overcooked. Then I called in and told the restaurant and they had an attitude and hung the phone up. This place was awesome! I got a menu in the mail and the prices seemed kinda high but what Chinese food isn't you know. So when I decided to order I ordered what I thought would be enough for my whole family ... I was WAYYY off!! If you order Orange chicken or general tso chicken! Beware!!! It comes with a full plastic take out box !! It was way more than I expected.. I was happy but we had a ton of left overs and I could've saved money if I only knew... Now I love left overs and I'm not complaining. I definitely would recommend this place !!! Just ask when you're ordering how big stuff is if you even care :) Hope this was helpful ! read more

I finally ordered delivery today!!! I pass this Chinese place every time I go to the gym.... Well, I ordered their Killer Calamari, combination fried rice, chicken lomein, and Mongolian beef. The rice was ok. It was kinda bland, but the shrimps tasted fresh! You do get a lot of rice for the price. That means more leftovers for tomorrow . I wasn't to crazy about the lomein and the Mongolian beef. I had better. The fried calamari had a good seasoning, but it could had been crispier like the one you order at Olive Garden. The food arrived as promised, and it was hot! No complaints there.... But I will probably will not order anytime soon... read more

What in the world is the problem with local Chinese restaurants? I have lived in the area for almost 39 years. Not ONCE has there been a decent Chinese spot. At least none that has lasted. Wok On Fie lives down to the Killeen Curse. Frankly, their food is inedible. Chicken as hard as marbles. Beef as chewy as bubble gum and fatty beyond belief. Over fried fried rice, as hard and crunchy as if it was poured out of the box. One and done. read more

From the very first bite it had a light chemical finish. Kung poi chicken as well as the sweet an sour. I have been sick the whole week. On and off the toilet or sleeping. I don't know if they didn't rinse there pots and pans. This was a home delivery so I just threw it in the trash. Never ate there before but Grub Hub offered it so we tried it. read more

Me and my fiancé have become obsessed with this restaurant, ordering almost twice a week now. Typically, we get the same menu items for each of us, the chicken fried rice and the spicy beef, which never disappoints. Always hot and fresh. So far we've also been impressed with their Chinese donuts, orange chicken, a couple more beef plates, lo mein and their egg rolls. Only thing I haven't like so far was the sweet & sour chicken, the chicken was very bland and the sweet and sour dipping sauce was like a sweet lime.. wasn't a fan, but with everything else, I'm not holding it against them. The staff has always been polite in person and on the phone. I look forward to trying more dishes, but definitely one of the best Chinese places in this area. read more

I ordered spicy pork, friend rice, wonton soup and a Dr. Pepper through Grub Hub. The food was awful. Nothing was edible but the soup. I'll likely never order from here again. I'm not normally this hard but it was disgusting. The pork tasted like fish, the Dr. Pepper was flat, and the rice was so salty it was impossible to eat. Terrible experience. read more

The food was delivered on time , it was warm but not hot . I ordered the Spicy Beef Combination Plate and told them no spice when I should have told them a little spice would have been OK as it was so bland and all that I could taste was the flavor of the gravy. The Yakimandu was almost burnt , fried a little too long , same with the Crab Rangoons and the Vegetable Egg Rolls. Seriously doubt if I will order from this place again. Wong's Palace is so much better ! read more

Fresh, hot delivery. Our food was delicious. Hot and sour soup. Egg drop soup. General TSO's chicken. Salt and black pepper shrimp. Fried rice. Sampler appetizer. Shrimp was just eh. But that was on us for trying something off the reservation. Fried rice didn't have much to it. Expected it might have at least some veggies for the extra $1.00. Save yourself a buck and color the steamed rice with soy sauce! All in all a great experience. Under promised and over delivered on the delivery time! read more

This is one of the few places that deliver in the area. Each time I have about a forty minute wait before my food arrives. The delivery man is usually lovely and I've never had any issues with the food. The food isn't the best I've had, but it's enough to be my go-to delivery place. I always order from here when I'm feeling sick or down. It's the best pick me up. It's the best in the area, though if you want to commit the drive, I always take time to travel to Austin for better Asian cuisine. read more

Don't order delivery. Get some broccoli beef or firecracker shrimp pick it up and enjoy!

Probably the worst Chinese food I've ever had. Crab puffs were very heavy and oily. Orange chicken, not at all orangey. Mongolian beef was ok as was the fried rice, albeit a little oily. Spicy pork was spicy but no flavor at all. Veggies were mushy and overcooked to the point that the onions felt slimy. read more
