Pho with all the meats.

Went in tonight for a quick bowl of Pho. 4 other groups were in the restaurant. The single waitress was able to take care of all of us. I can see how if the business were having a busy night where things could get backed up, but tonight no issues. The Pho was a good, standard bowl, broth was tasty and meat was nice. Coming from the big city with many Pho choices, this bowl could have been a little larger and perhaps had an option for tendon, but for Chardon, it is a fine soup. This bowl was $17.99 and pleasant.

The food was fresh and tasty, the service was quick and hospitable, and the restaurant was quite nice!

a plate of dumplings and a bowl of soup

Very good for quick, Chinese takeout. We did order and pick it up, since right now it is takeout only. The prices are fair and reasonable and you do get a large portion of food. We started off with the steamed dumplings and I thought they were some of the best I have had, they are large and have lots of filling. Next, we got wonton soup, which was wonderful. However, I could do without the lettuce pieces in it. The general tso chicken was big and the sauce was tasty, but the chicken could have been less fatty/breaded. I did enjoy all of the sauces and the rice. I loved how the combo dinners came with rice and egg rolls, such a nice touch. The staff was super sweet when I picked up and were so thankful for our business. I would certainly go again.

Good service & good food! I had the sesame chicken combination with tea. It was all delicious.

I've been to Yangtze a few times now, and the experience is generally the same - they focus more on quantity over quality. The food is average quality, but you get an enormous amount of it. The lunch menu is a particularly good deal. I got the Moo Goo Gai Pan entree (essentially a stir fry with chicken, vegetables, and white rice) and split a side of Pork Fried Rice with another person. The entree would probably have been enough, but the fried rice is really good and I couldn't pass it up. Overall, the lunch prices are a great deal for a large amount of decent Chinese food

Governor's chicken

Came with a friend what a great little place on the square in Chardon. Great staff, fast friendly. The food was awesome. Had the governor's chicken. It was the perfect amount of spice. The egg rolls were fresh crispy and oh so good. The pork fried rice was tender not to salty. They know what they are doing here.

Szechwan Chicken lunch

If you like Chinese food this is the place to be. Huge portions and the best egg rolls I've ever had. The service is quick and friendly. The lunch price it just right! You get soup, egg roll, rice and entree. The chicken Szechwan was spicy but not too spicy. They put a lot of sauce on it but if you like to dip your egg roll then it's perfect. Overall a great place.

The vibe.

It's beautifully decorated, warm, and inviting without being over the top. We started with the Thai tea, and it's an absolute must. It's that perfect balance of strong black tea, sweetness, and creaminess--easily one of our favorite drinks and they nailed it here. For food, the beef pho was exactly what you want--rich, hearty, and super comforting. It came with a generous side of fresh condiments so you can customize each bite. We also tried the vermicelli with shrimp and pork, which was just as impressive. It was loaded with fresh veggies like cucumber, carrots, lettuce, and bean sprouts, plus crunchy peanuts and an incredibly flavorful fish sauce that tied everything together. Service was pretty fast even on a busy night, which we really appreciated. They also offer to-go cups for drinks--a small but thoughtful touch. Overall, everything felt fresh, flavorful, and thoughtfully prepared. Definitely a spot we'll be coming back to.

I ordered online and though was quoted 20 min, I got there really early and it was already ready! That was 9 minutes after I placed my order and that was over the lunch hour! So that was really impressive. I ordered the Chicken Noodle Pho and the Shrimp Garden Rolls. The rolls were fresh and quite generous with their size. Lived the peanut sauce that came with them as well. The sauce had actual peanut pieces in it as well. The Chicken Noodle Pho came in two containers - one was the broth and the other one had rice noodles, shredded chicken breast, thinly sliced green onion, and fried red onion. Served with fresh bean sprouts, jalapeño, basil, & lime. The broth was very flavorful and the serving size was generous! Highly recommend.

Hole in the wall, buried in a 1970's strip mall between a sex toy shop and a girdle store (yes…read morethat's apparently a thing in 2026?!?). When I say this is the most surprised I've been in a hot minute, this isn't hyperbole. We got a bowl or pho, along with some spring rolls and a Bahn mi sandwich. Server was very nice, although he had his hands full basically running the entire dining room. Considering there were probably eight tables all filled, containing 15 people or so... his accuracy and speed were actually pretty impressive. Only small hiccup was he forgot the Diet Coke's we had ordered. But all things considered, that's not bad at all. Spring rolls Fresh, crispy, plenty of veggies bursting from the seams. Served hot, but not so hot it melted your mouth. Came with a seeet and savory dipping sauce. After crushing them, I was sad I didn't get a second order. We're off to a *very* good start. Pho 1/2 Traditional Vietnamese pho. Salty. Spicy. Umami. Fresh veggies blanched to perfection. Quality noodles and broth. Very generous portion size. Perfect warm and savory dish for a chilly Ohio evening. Would 100% get again. Bahn Mi Absolute star of the show. First, the baguette tasted like it just got off a plane from a Parisian bakery. Buttery, soft, pillowy inside, with a firm, crunchy outer shell. Slight hint of salt and sweet. It came filled with a delectable grilled pork. Not the cheap kind you find in most Asian dishes as filler. This was quality stuff. Perfect balance of salty and savory. Also came with fresh cucumbers, shaved carrots, daikon, and leafy cilantro complimenting the pork. I often use a "how many minutes would you drive out of your way to come back to this place" scale. For Pho LV, I gave it a "30 minutes" rating. Which is absurd. It's the second highest rating I've ever given a place. Unfortunately I live about an hour and 15 minute away in Stark County, so I won't be here often. However, if I am anywhere near this place again, I am 100% stopping back in and satisfying that craving. Cause oh Lordy was it worth it.

I was in the area at the Lorain Library (main branch), and was craving a cozy meal. Pho Ever had a catchy name and was only a few minutes away (drive). What's more cozy than pho? I made a quick and good decision to visit. AMBIANCE: The restaurant is one open space simple cultural decor. The space well fits groups and single guests. Multiple comfy booths are available along one of the walls and there are plenty of tables. Decor includes Nón Lá (Vietnamese conical hats) around the perimeter of the restaurant, vases and flowers, wood carved rooster art, prosperity wall hanging with laughing Buddhas, and other decor typical of Asian restaurants. There is also a blue sky ceiling fragment. The atmosphere is very simple and casual. The restaurant is not the cleanest. That includes the floor, the bathrooms, the tables, and teapots. Everything could use a deep clean. FOOD/DRINKS: The menu features appetizers, rice plates, vermicelli stir-fry, pho, fried rice, ramen noodles, combination plates, and optional add-ons. Drinks were not on the menu. There are few pictures of the menu items to point you in the right direction. Each dish has alphanumeric value for simple ordering. I noticed that the prices are pretty value-oriented less than many other comparable restaurants. I ordered my default Vietnamese restaurant order - pho, rolls, and hot tea. More specifically, A3 (2 charbroiled pork rolls, $5), A4 (charbroiled chicken rolls, $5), P3 (pho with eye round steak and well-done brisket, $14), and jasmine tea ($2 for a tea pot). Rolls had a generous amount of meat. I loved pork rolls, but didn't like the chicken. I found it to be too dry. I did not use the accompanying sauces since spice is not my favorite. Pho included a large portion, plenty of meat, but the broth had some slightly lemony undertone that wasn't my favorite. Jasmine tea was perfectly hot and light. It was a very comforting meal due to hot tea and hot pho. I also loved that the food was delivered with a pouch with chopsticks, fork, spoon, and big spoon for pho. SERVICE: The service was very pleasant, quick, and accommodating. There was one waiter serving quickly filling dining room. He was excellent and very attentive! I was seated very quickly. My food impressively arrived within minutes. All other guests had all their questions answered with patience. Huge compliments on the service! The restaurant was extremely accommodating to groups. They expeditiously moved tables together for large dinner groups. I was at the restaurant before 6 PM and the restaurant was already almost full with more people pulling into the parking lot. It seems like it's a popular local destination. PARKING: There is plenty of parking available to customers. Dedicated parking lot rather than shared plaza arrangement. My experience was pretty positive. I was especially impressed with the excellent service. It wasn't the best Vietnamese food that I experienced, but pretty good for a casual Sunday meal. While I wouldn't go out of my way to travel here, I'd definitely stop in while in the area.
