Ordered takeout for the first time from here. My husband had wonton soup and egg foo young. They were both good. I ordered a medium to spicy kung pow tofu and a vegetable egg roll. The egg roll was tasty except there was no mustard or sweet and sour sauce :-(. The king pow tofu was a total disappointment. It was mostly tofu in a brown sauce with three pieces of broccoli. It was not spicy at all and tasted very bland. I would never order it again. The pick up was on time and store was easy to find. Not sure I'd return, but if in the area and my husband wanted egg foo young he might go back. read more

So, the General Tso's was good, the pork fried rice was bland, and the fried dumplings were bland and almost burned. Don't think it is good enough for a second try :( read more

i've been coming here for over a decade the quality is always consistent, the portions are huge, and the food is always ready, hot and fresh it's a gem read more

We have been coming here for 20 years. I think at some point it changed ownership and for the last few years it has gone down hill tremendously. I don't think we will be getting take out here any more. Food gives you a stomach ache and that isn't from eating to much. I think it is from the oil or it sitting in oil to long something like that. read more

TERRIBLE!!! Order at your own risk. Pork fried rice was disgusting, had a weird old taste to it. The chicken wing was hard, old and dry. Sweet and sour chicken was soggy and greasy no sweet and sour sauce included. The breading fell off the shrimp. Just TERRIBLE! Oh and the 2 liter soda was HOT. Not refrigerated. Complete waste of money. read more

Ordered here by mistake. Big mistake. Shrimp Teriyaki was very fishy. Would not order here again.

Ordered the family dinner for 2, our first Time ordering here. The rice was terrible, not sure if it was old, but it was inedible. Everything seemed old, like it was sitting out or was already cooked and heated back up. Not worth it at all, won't order again. read more

Very mean if you are even 5 minutes late picking up food. Also portions are on the small side

Love the food and Won Ton soup. My favorite, to go, Chinese restaurant. Stop by and try for yourself

Food is always great! Lots of sauce. Different levels of spice. Always fast. And their almond cookies are the best!

They have the best egg foo yong I've had in this area. The gravy is heavenly. Egg rolls aren't greasy. I order the food delivered and it's always quick and piping hot. My new favorite Chinese restaurant. read more

I feel like I can't find a lot of good Chinese restaurants in the greater Cleveland area, but Peking Chinese is actually a really good Chinese place. It's a hole in the wall and the interior is a little dingy, but all the food I've had there has been very good. Some of my family's favorites include the spicy wontons, the szechuan chicken with vegetables and the General Tsos. Even the egg rolls have been pretty good. Decent prices for the portions too. I don't understand how this place doesn't get better reviews. read more

Ordered from here and loved their egg rolls! So crispy!!! UNFORTUNATELY... they left out our order of lo mein and I called to ask about it. They were very kind and offered to include it free with our next order. When we called back a few months later to order and claim the forgotten lo mein the manager claimed that their computer could only look back on orders for the past 2 months so they couldn't reimburse me or include their promised noodles. The people that I had originally spoke to that kindly offered me the get a free lo mein with my next order never mentioned that there was a time limit on the offer to claim that food that I had already paid for and they had forgotten. THE MANAGER LITERALLY ARGUED ON THE PHONE WITH ME ABOUT IT IN THE MOST UNPROFESSIONAL MANNER AND I WILL NEVER RETURN TO THIS RESTAURANT. DEPLORABLE... read more

One of my favorite weekly weekend spot! Always fresh & they always are lovely when ordering on the phone. When ordering thru door dash, its always the same fresh quality! Highly recommend read more

I stumbled across this place as I was going to the UPS store. I decided to try it on a whim. To be honest, I haven't found too many takeout Chinese that I have fully liked. I am glad that i found this place. It is a traditional take out Chinese where they expected dishes and short on phone. The food is very good. The egg rolls taste like they may have been homemade as the cabbage in them is fresh and crunchy. My chicken with veggies was good with a great portion. It is a take out place, so seating is limited and atmosphere is what you would expect. read more

Ordered through door dash for delivery at specific time. Dasher waiting for order messages me that the total was wrong. Well how could it be wrong when it is on door dash and order was confirmed. Peking told door dash they raised the prices but doesnt have time to correct pricing on door dash. My dasher paid the difference so she could get me my order. Of course I paid her back when she arrived. And now my ordet is 30 minures late and food cold. I will order else where from now on. The food is good but now very over priced and scammed me! Dont order from them. I will never refer them again. Order from Panda across from hospital on Euclid. Food is better and there prices are correct! read more

Been here twice. This place serves classic Chinese American cuisine at good price, as the lunch special is a tasty value which includes an entree with rice and a beverage of your choice! Front is usually staffed by a young lady who is polite and quite helpful. Four stars for the lunch portion and prices! read more

Ordered online, easy ordering and fast delivery! Our food was delicious, the pork fried rice is good, good dumplings and excellent sesame chicken, general chicken and sweet and sour chicken. Will be ordering again. Reason for 4 stars instead of five, the egg rolls are huge, but too much cabbage for us! Kids wouldn't eat them at all. read more

My family's go to take out place. I have been ordering from here for over a decade and the food always remains the same. Management has changed once during that time but even then, the food didn't change. Whenever and whatever I order, it is always fast and hot. The staff is very friendly and I keep coming back here because even when I try other places, this place is always better. read more

One of the most inexpensive Chinese places I've had. The chicken lo mein and chicken fried rice was delicious. Crab Rangoon tasted a little stale. My children ate white rice and sweet and sour chicken - they seemed to enjoy that. read more

Always a good experience with Peking Chef. I realize this isn't their official page but I did want to note that their prices are good and the portion sizes are good. The food is always good, too! I would recommend going there anytime. I love the combination containers - good to reuse! read more

I told myself when I moved here from Columbus last year that I would not write too many positive reviews on Yelp because the restaurants just get overcrowded, and it is hard to get served. After seeing reviews of Peking Chinese and only a 3-Star rating, I have to say something. I've spent more than a year in the Orient. I love Oriental cuisine. This is the best Carry-Out Chinese food I've had in years. The one problem I've experienced is consistency. I first ate here Saturday, and then reordered the same meal on Monday. Saturday I felt like a glutton; Monday was just okay. For those whining about customer service, it's a different culture for crying out loud. I'll bet they know more English than you know Chinese. Be respectful, and don't expect to be dealing with Auntie Em. You want good Chinese food for a good price? This is the place. You want good customer service? Go someplace where you can get a massage. We'll both be happy. read more

What a surprise. I had zero expectations, however, I didn't think it would be that good. I got the Moo Shoo Pork and an order of spare ribs. Everything was amazing and the ribs were very big compared to what I've gotten elsewhere. Even my leftovers I took for lunch were really good. I wish I gave it a chance 6 months ago when I moved in the area. I'll be back very soon. read more

Wow. I have never done this! I tried this place again. Hey - I'm moving out tomorrow, why not give it another go? I called, told the chick what I was ordering, and she said "10 minutes" and hung up. I was still talking. I was like, "wait!" Wow. That was crazy rude. I was going to leave to pick up my food, but then I realized - wait a second. I dont have to! She didnt ask for a name, a number, anything! I am not ordering from that place! They are so rude! I called another place and the chick that answered was so nice! It was like night and day! DO NOT PATRONIZE THIS PLACE! read more

Horrible customer service. I ordered Wor sue Gai, and got a pork dish??? When I called to complain, they yelled at me. I wanted my money back, and they refused. I love Chinese food, and I know how to order Wor sue Gai. It's chicken. Not pork. Take heed when you order from this place. read more

Hmm all right. So I was stuck inside having to work on a take home exam and I was craving Chinese food. Pros: Very efficient. I live in a zoo of an apartment complex and I am super impressed that someone arrived at my door lickity split. REALLY impressed with the service. Cons: The food. I got some won ton soup, crab rangoons and beef and broccoli. I was really impressed at how many of those noodle things were in the won top soup. Normally when you get a small you have like one, maybe two of the noodle thingies. But my little cup was jam packed with them. Score! The meat inside of them didn't taste all that great though. I just took the meat out and ate the noodles. (My dog enjoyed the meat filling!) The crab rangoons (a fave of mine) were very meh. I'm not really sure if the outside or the inside was the problem (or both), but I've definitely had better. The beef and broccoli was also very uneventful and not super tasty. So overall, I'm not entirely sure I'll order through them again. If I do and I order something different and it is yummy I will be sure to write an update and adjust the rating accordingly. At the very least, you can't go wrong with the service. And maybe I just did a bad job in my food choices. Maybe they're known for something else. If you order from there and like what you got, make sure you write a review so I can try it next time! :) read more

Great food, even basic veggie fried rice is delicious. Try the spicy wontons!!

I had never had Peking before today. All of my go-to Chinese restaurants have really lacked in quality lately so I stopped going. Decided to give them a try. WOW! It was absolutely delicious! I had quite a few modifications to my order and they got it all right. The food wasn't overly salty like most places, but also not bland. The shrimp chips were crispy but didn't taste fishy. The lo mein wasn't clumped together, it had a great amount of the sauce that kept it moist. The beef in the rice was tender. It was all just jam-packed with flavor!! By far the best Chinese I've had in recent memory and I will DEFINITELY be returning!!!!! read more

My favorite and go to restaurant ever. Their sweet and sour chicken is the absolute best. Best general tos and lo mein ever. My go-to Chinese joint in Willoughby. Chinese take-out isn't about customer service. Recite your order to them clearly and concisely and they'll make it happen. This place is fast and straight to the point. Portions are hefty and inexpensive. Don't bother dining-in, it's just not that kind of restaurant.! read more

We ordered from here a few years ago and were not impressed at that time.- food just didn't taste all that great and there were other places nearby that tasted much better. So,we decided to give it another try since 1.) they are the only Chinese food restaurant in our area that delivers and 2.) we could order online. We were pleasantly surprised! First of all, online ordering is the way to go- fast and super easy. Second, inexpensive- two meals under $20.00 total including delivery fee which is minimal ($2.00). Third, delivery was so fast that I barely had time to set the table before they arrived at our door! Food was exactly as ordered, was piping hot and was delicious. We will definitely be ordering from here from now on. read more

Used to be my favorite place and was hands down the best Chinese in the area. That was about 5 years ago. I don't know if they changed owners, changed suppliers, or both but they have just not been the same. Their food literally has zero flavor and it seems that the actual food items themselves are totally different. For instance, the crab rangoon and the dumplings are definitely not the same product they were using before. They taste totally different and the change was not for the better. read more

Cheap, yummy, and they deliver! Yay! I went out on a limb by ordering from here and was pleasantly surprised. I almost exclusively get my Chinese food from Imperial Dragon in Mentor, buuuut I was feeling lazy and didn't want to put real pants on, so I ordered from the only Chinese place I knew would deliver to me. I got crab rangoon, eggs rolls, shrimp toast, shrimp lo mein, and pepper steak. The crab rangoon, eggs rolls, and pepper steak were what I expected (average). I was impressed by the shrimp lo mein! The shrimp was a nice size, tasted fresh, and didn't have that gross poop vein on them! Score! On the other hand, I will pass on the shrimp toast next time, it was subpar at best. I got all of that delivered for less than $20!!! That was the biggest winning point. I will be ordering from here again. :) read more
