It had been a few years that I had been to a dentist due to anxiety, but when a tooth broke, I had to go. I had a lot of work that needed to be done, and a limited time to get it all done, but they found a way to get it all done. Every staff member that I came across was super friendly and always so professional. I was very embarrassed that I had not been in for so long, and as a result had so much work that needed to be done, but everyone was so kind that I never felt judged. They work very hard to make sure their patients are as comfortable as can be, they truly go above and beyond. I HIGHLY recommend them. Being the daughter of a dentist, it was hard to find dental office that made me feel as comfortable as I felt in my dad's office, but this office has always made me feel at home. Even with anxiety about going to the dentist, I will come back here because they care about the patient and work to make it a great experience.

My dental insurance was never sent the preauth. One was submitted to me through email. I immediately caught an error where they tried to preauth one of my teeth twice. I immediately called them to let them know. They submitted a partial update to me which I thought was done carelessly. There also weren't any clinical notes included on it. I called my insurance company about 2 weeks later and they stated they had not received anything. After 2 months and many phone and calls a couple of 3 way conversations between the dental office, insurance company and me, the dentist office said they were resubmitting it. The insurance company never received it. Again I contacted the dental office. I spoke with someone who said my case was priority and she knew all about it and would look into and call me the next day. A little after 4pm I called again as it was Friday and didn't want it to go until Monday. When I asked for the same person I was placed on hold for about 15 minutes, someone else came onto the line and told me the office manager was looking into it and unfortunately was out of the office on a family emergency. I waited until the following Tuesday. Now I was told they had no idea that my insurance was no longer accepted at this office. Mind you, this is approximately 2 1/2 months from my original appointment! There so much more I can't even go into all the detail without getting mad. If could give them a minus 5 I would. BTW, I asked to speak to the dentist and no way were they going to let me. I believe the front office staff have absolutely no idea what they are doing and definitely have absolutely no compassion, care, or real concern for any patient. Window dressing is all they are, as I don't believe anything they said. Worthless employees!!!

I cannot say enough positive things about Dr. Sweat and his entire team…read more After losing more than 100 pounds, I made the decision to have my excess skin removed. This surgery was not simply cosmetic for me. It was the final step in a 20-year journey. Finding the right surgeon can be daunting. I met with two other highly regarded plastic surgeons in the Sacramento area, but from the moment I walked into Dr. Sweat's office, I knew he was the right choice. Choosing Dr. Sweat was one of the best decisions I have ever made. He has truly changed my life. From my very first consultation, Dr. Sweat and his team made me feel heard, respected, and genuinely cared for. What sets this practice apart is that you do not just get an exceptional surgeon, you get an exceptional team. His patient care coordinator, Christine, made me feel so comfortable from day one. She is incredibly personable, met with me multiple times, and patiently answered every one of my many questions. Irina (Nurse Practitioner) brought a calm confidence to every follow-up appointment, gave me clear instructions, and continually reassured me that I was healing well. Nicole (esthetician) has been incredibly attentive, skilled and dedicated in helping me manage my post-operative swelling. Every interaction I have had with his team has been positive, supportive, and professional. One of the qualities I respect most about Dr. Sweat is his honesty. He is direct, thoughtful, and takes the time to explain both the benefits and drawbacks of every option. While other surgeons recommended that I just get an extended tummy tuck, Dr. Sweat explained that for my particular body, he recommended a lower body lift with an FDL and fat transfer to my butt. I am so grateful that I trusted his expertise! There is no question that I would not be as thrilled with my results had I chosen a different surgeon. I am SNATCHED, and for the first time in my life, I have a booty (it's natural looking and perfect!)! The improvement in my shape and contour has exceeded every expectation. His surgical craftsmanship is extraordinary. His incision lines are precise and thoughtfully placed. For the first time ever, I feel comfortable and confident in my body. That is truly priceless. I fully recommend Dr. Sweat with no hesitation Any plastic surgeon can change a body, but exceptional surgeons change lives. Dr. Sweat has given me both!

The physicians were conservative and had him work through a couple months of different therapeutic solutions until ultimately it was decided that he needed surgery. Post surgery his UC Davis doctor referred us to Scurti Orthotics. This family run business is professional, caring, and ethical. At his first appointment, they measured his foot then created a mold to make sure that the orthotics they were building were custom to his foot and concerns. My father also has a size 15 foot and has had difficulty his whole life finding footwear. He often has to send away mail order for his shoes. So, while we were at this appointment, he was able to try on several shoes, but ultimately placed an order for the right sizing in the colors that he wanted. They had him come back after they had built his customized orthotics and the shoes he ordered had arrived. His second appointment they fit him with the orthotics and the new shoes. On the first try he was still experiencing some discomfort so they made a minor change in their shop and brought it back out for him to try again. He slipped his foot in the shoes and it worked. All he could say as he was walking and smiling was "unbelievable". Thank you gentlemen you've made my Dad very happy and comfortable again.
