I have been receiving cervical spinal adjustment at this location from Dr. Crusade for a couple of years due to severe misalignment and subluxation. The treatment has helped me tremendously so far. Recently they added the Egoscue Method. Irene is the Egoscue Therapist. She takes photos that show how you are aligned and then goes over exercises to work on. Doing the prescribed therapy has helped me hold my adjustments. I also went to Fleet Feet for new shoes and my weight distribution and alignment as I walk has improved! Don't waste your time here! They don't care about helping the people at all and it was VERY obvious by how they treated me. I tried to come here about 3 or 4 years ago because I have 4 building discs in my neck and this is one of the few places in town that seemed as if they would be able to provide the treatment I needed. So my wife and I came here hoping for relief from all the pain I am in along with the many side effects I endure. Upon entering the office they had a very weird vibe going on inside. As if it was like a cult or something. They were acting strange, however, as we sat down with the lady (Office Manager) that was doing the intake questions with us, one of the questions she asked was if I had ever been in a car accident. I said; no, "well, yeah many many years ago, like over 20 years but it seriously was just a bump and no report was ever made so this seriously has no relation to my neck injury! Plus my neck injury has been an issue well before this accident." You would have thought I yelled "BOMB", the intake stopped, she wanted ALL the details, the date, the time, what injuries did I experience, the police report, what insurance company did I have... I was like: "I am not aware of all the details and there is nothing to say at all. It was a bump, we didn't exchange contact information and it was over 20 years ago, no injuries, nada..." She stated then we can not continue treating you here today. We went round and round because I was literally somewhat in tears from all the pain I have been in and was so happy that I possibly was going to start the process to heal with this visit. BUT, to my surprise, the office manager STOPPED the intake process and said if I can locate the information about the accident, then they could proceed. I was blown away that they were all about the insurance money (which there never was any money) but rather treat me as a patient who needed care, I was just a dollar sign to them. Very sad, that a company could actually do good for a patient rather than look at me as how much money can they get. I'd hope and like to think that this lady (Office Manager) does not work here anymore and this has no reflection on the Doctor herself at all but we will see if I ever even hear from them... I've made sure all my friends and family know to never go here at this point! read more

One of the best experiences is coming here. Dr. Crusade. She is wonderful but I have to say she has the best staff as well. She is always informative and has such a positive attitude. I came here as a skeptic and well she made a believer out of me. I don't have any carpal tunnel in my left hand or wrist, also discovered going through this treatment, I am not suffering from allergies and I can breathe better with no congestion. Very strange experience to say the least. It seems that the Dr may be good, but the experience was just very weird and off-putting. I went for X-rays and a consult - had to return the next day for the "consult". In every interaction I felt like I was in the back room of an auto dealer with them trying to make me buy a car. They repeatedly asked about 1 - had I EVER been in any car accidents? (Like we could get money/free service or??) 2 - would I bring a support person with me when I returned the next day (this really felt like they wanted to "sell" to more than just me.) 3 - did I read the brochures and understand what the terminology and processes were? They also had me sign very ominous disclosures and an arbitration agreement. In the end, they said that the doctor "agreed to provide services" to me since she could help me, BUT ONLY if I agreed to the "6 month program" for about $4,500 - IF I PAID UP FRONT. This is when I told them how I felt about the BS high pressure sales job and condescending tone of the whole experience. Sheesh! I'm in pain and putting up with this junk? No way!! I immediately left and so regretted wasting my time and money ($150) on this "consult"! Find another place to try!!!! read more

I moved out of Sacramento already, but Dr. Crusade used to be my chiropractor. I went to see her because of my injured tailbone quite some time ago. Dr. Crusade is very caring, cheerful and warm-hearted. It's always a joy to be around her. She also explains well what the problems and concerns are. The office was decorated nicely which makes patients feel like home instead of a clinic. Now my tailbone is fine. It stopped hurting about a year after I started seeing her, but I still went there about once a month to maintain my alignment. I am no longer her patient anymore after I moved out of Sacramento.
