Chill, nice guys, amazing ambiance. Very cool location. Open late. I decided to go with a friend just for a little night out, around 9pm. I was a little hungry so I decided to grab some Chinese food nearby. I made sure to ask if I could bring food in. They gleefully said yes, and also stated they are BYOB. We asked for a recommendation, and I can't remember for the life of me what it was, I believe blueberry mint of some sort. Our coals lasted a while, and we were checked on periodically. Drinks are for purchase. They have hot teas, and a few cold drinks including water for purchase. Definitely my favorite new place.

Yahala is a quaint Hookah bar located right next to one of the best, if not the best Mediterranean restaurants in Austin. The hookah part isn't bad, but the better part is that you can bring the food from next door over to enjoy while relaxing or smoking there. Is it a fancy place? No. Is it a relaxing place? Yes. Is service good here? Yes. You aren't going to be shocked or wowed by anything spectacular here. Come to smoke hookah, get a great tea or turkish coffee while your there, and relax. I've only had a couple of flavors of Hookah there, and each has been great... and chosen by the group I was with. This would be a good experience for a 3rd or 4th date... not a first.

A really good hookah spot, and I am pretty selective when it comes to hookah. First must: good coals and tobacco - check! Second need: clean hose - check! Third: good ventilation so I am not suffocating from everyone else smoking - check and check Fourth: obligatory mint tea - oh, yeah! And you add very attentive service and cozy space - and you have a full package! Come here, try these guys out!

We sat on high bar stools and overlooked the celebration directly in front of the Live band stage. We avoided crowd crushing, liquid spills on your clothing and the screaming that was taking place below. The great news was it was 77 Degrees rooftop was completely free. Amazing to hear the music from below in an open air environment In addition, the 77 degrees DJ was spinning pop, hip hop and other dance music. While the area is relatively small, they had roped off VIP sections with bottle service. We did not have any food as at this juncture we were not hungry. Because 77 Degrees has an open air setting, it was pleasant to sit and watch the band.

It's a fantastic place to celebrate a birthday and that's what I went for; my friend had so much fun on her birthday. They have these crazy illuminated signs that the staff bring by your table. There is bottle and table service, tapas....and hookahs too. The crowd is festive and trendy, but relaxed. It can get chilly at night in winter months, and the outdoor heaters are good but I would still make sure to bring a sweater or a jacket. And even then you might have to snuggle with your friends to keep warm. Or start dancing to the music.

Next stop The Rose Room...I have never been to this club because it has unusual hours....Friday & Saturday: 10 PM - 2 AM. This is the TAO (Las Vegas, NV) equivalent for Austin, TX. We began with a dramatic escalator entrance. When you get off the escalator and go left (only possible direction), you see a sea of sardine-packed people dancing like it is there last night of earth. There is a small section of the club with stadium-like seating and a standing area. The music was blasting so loud your body was literally vibrating. A huge LED lit wall showing different designs was the focal point. A DJ was spinning some high energy songs. It was on and popping. We stayed at The Rose Room for a very short while in fear that our ear drums would explode. In my 20s I used go out a lot with friends...surprised I have any hearing today. The key is when music is that loud, you don't linger. This is a drinks only club with a bar inside the club.

It's pretty easy to get to with red garage nearby but if you're coming here, let's be honest, just Uber. The setting is eclectic and fun with lasers, dancers, and people everywhere. We came at what felt like the middle of the peak of the night. It was packed but the energy was amazing. People were dancing and it was crowded but people were being respectful of the space around them. One thing that stood out to us was the music, they played a lot of different genres but it was smooth and everyone had a good time with the vibes being right. As with any nightclub just be safe and smart but have fun too. This place will provide plenty of fun, trust us... and the lasers.

However, the brownie was really dry - seemed to a a few days old, and the drink was just OK. They indicated it would be made with a mix so that probably my bad. My friend had a couple of beers and another dessert but his feedback was the same. I would have liked to stay longer and come back on another night to see if my first visit was an anomaly. I would think they normally have better drinks and food than we had on our first visit!
