    Watermelon mint shisha
    Rachel H.

Geoffrey is the MAN. We ordered the watermelon mint flavor. He brought out one of the coolest hookahs I've ever seen and showed us pictures of the fresh shisha he mixed!! He came out to change the coals every 10-15 minutes and was so so nice. Definitely going back to Rio for his hookah!! I don't do reviews. I had to make an account just to boost his creds, can't believe nobody has done a review yet.

Is not open. Absolute trash that I went all the way there because they can't update their Google or Facebook.

The staff member that I dealt with was personable, pleasant, etc. Only one negative--I wish I could give the place a 4.5, but I don't think a 4 is fair--After I indicated that I was finished eating and ready for the bill (maybe I didn't communicate it so clearly?), it seemed to take quite a while before they came with the check. Otherwise, great food! (I did not try the hookah at all.) Oh, I forgot to mention: I was served a bottle of spring water rather than a bottle of "purified" water. That was fairly impressive.

My friend was spot on. You could tell that the hummus was homemade as it was thick and substantial to eat. It also had some extra virgin oil and some tasty spices. To be honest, I was not crazy about the accompanying pita bread. While it was plentiful, the pita bread was a bit hard. It did not appear homemade, as I expected. Moe, my server, was very attentive and brought my hummus rather quickly. While my hummus was $8, there were built automatic tips up 30%. You could opt to do no tip or a custom tip. Never seen a tip automatically built to that large percent. Their parking lot was a bit small, but was free for customers. I did enjoy my hummus and would recommend it. However, I would ask for crackers to accompany the hummus.

The service was A1, along with the food and hookah. I love how they have their flavors set up for customers to view and smell what they're ordering before committing to it. Their knowledge and flexibility with mixing the flavors is top tier. The decor is also super cute in every corner, that all you influencers and social media girlies will def get your next viral' post in any spot that you sit here. There's also a vast majority of games that you have access to using with your party at any time of the night! We came in on a weekend night that they had a DJ playing. He had a good mix and although he didn't play much of my requests, he definitely catered to majority of the crowd that was actively dancing and turning it up to make it even more immersive. Because there are so many options in Austin, I can't say that I've repeated going to any place again thus far. But I can definitely say that I will be back here more than once, over and over, until they get sick of me (hopefully not) but to make the point that - we just loved our experience tonight so much. My people and I are so happy and satisfied with this space! Yay to finding this gem!

Amazing to hear the music from below in an open air environment In addition, the 77 degrees DJ was spinning pop, hip hop and other dance music. While the area is relatively small, they had roped off VIP sections with bottle service. We did not have any food as at this juncture we were not hungry. Because 77 Degrees has an open air setting, it was pleasant to sit and watch the band.

You get a really nice view on the top level (you can ascend the three levels by the stairs or an elevator) and there are a lot of colored lights everywhere to set the mood. It's a fantastic place to celebrate a birthday and that's what I went for; my friend had so much fun on her birthday. They have these crazy illuminated signs that the staff bring by your table. There is bottle and table service, tapas....and hookahs too. The crowd is festive and trendy, but relaxed. It can get chilly at night in winter months, and the outdoor heaters are good but I would still make sure to bring a sweater or a jacket. And even then you might have to snuggle with your friends to keep warm. Or start dancing to the music.

Located off Anderson Mill in the corner of a strip mall is a bookshelf with a door on the right side. If you cannot figure out the entrance, there is a doorbell to ring as well. I believe it is owned by the same people who own The Mill bar right next door, which makes it feel like a cool bonus space. My friend and I sat next to a faux fireplace, where we were greeted by the only bartender working and placed our order. Once he opened the tab, it was disappointing that he never came back to check if we wanted another drink. It wasn't super busy on the Monday we went, but since he was the only one manning the bar, the bartender was always doing something, so I don't blame him fully for not checking back in with us. I ordered a drink called the Velvet Vice. It looked nothing like the picture and tasted similar to an Aviation cocktail with egg whites. I happened to really like it. It is a very relaxed space, but once the speakeasy gimmick wears off, it does not have much else going for it. It is still a cool place, but I am not sure it was worth the lengthy drive to get there. However, I'll think about coming here again because I didn't feel a good vibe with the service. We had to go look for someone to show us the table even though the place was empty for early lunch. Then, to get drinks or even the order was a problem. It took so much longer than usual. Our waitress was rude, and seemed bothered that we showed up. Then someone else came as the waitress and she was preoccupied with other tables and barely checked on us. A regular lunch which would've been one hour became almost two because of the lack of service. My friend had to stand and look for someone to give us a box to take out the good we couldn't eat because it was getting late and also to get the check because No one came in to check on us at all. It was almost like pulling teeth to get a regular service let alone good service. Again, the food was really good, and that alone was the only positive.
